Michael Jordan's Hall of Fame Acceptance Speech (G.O.A.T.)

With all of the craziness in sports and music this past weekend, it seems like Michael Jordan's Hall of Fame acceptance speech got lost in it all.  MJ was surprisingly emotional during the beginning but he very quickly gained his composure and started thanking all of the people that motivated him during his career.

Some people have said that it came off a little harsh or mean spirited since he called out everyone that doubted him.  He pointed out the coach that cut him in high school, the player that made the team in his place (LeRoy Smith), Isiah for freezing him out of his first All-Star game and the media that doubted he would ever win a championship.  In my opinion, it was a great speech that showed how competitive and fiery MJ really was and how he used any little doubt of his abilities to push him forward and put more "wood on the fire".

My favorite part of the speech was how he closed it out.  He said "One day, you might look up and see me playing at 50.  Oh, don't laugh.  Never say never.  Because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion."

Well said my man.  And he is probably more serious than you think.  As you just heard, don't ever think of doubting him.  If anyone could come back and play in the NBA at age 50, it would be the Greatest of All Time, Michael Jordan.
