Ace Hood - "Sex In the Morning" (HOT VID)

Cot damn!!!  Now that's a fuckin' video.  Literally!  Dude had to have smushed after the video shoot. That's just too much booty to try and ignore.  You better do something about it when it's right in your face like that.  Wow.

In case you didn't recognize the original, this is a slight remix of Robin Thicke's "It's In the Morning" featuring Snoop which is a badass song for when you're getting down with the ladies...

Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 - New Casual Line Influenced by Air Jordan XI (NOT BAD)

Photobucket
A lot of cats on the sneaker sites have been kind of negative about this new Jordan CMFT (Comfort) Viz Air 11 hybrid but I think they're kind of hot.  The Air Jordan XI is one of my favorite Jordan silhouettes so I'm all for coming up with new ways to rock that style.  It's almost impossible to get any authentic XI's without paying well over retail or camping out when they do make it to stores every few years.
Photobucket
I don't usually like it when they mix and match two different shoes (like the Air Force 1/Air Jordan Fusions) but I don't mind a few of the mashups using only Jordan shoes like the Spizike.  For once, I think Jordan kept it simple with the Fusion concept and just took the main upper from the Air Jordan XI and matched it with the midsole of the Nike Air Max 1.
Photobucket
Photobucket
I think it works and looks super clean.  The pics of Wale rockin' the red joints does it more justice than these newer pics but even those look nice in my opinion.  It looks like Wale has a suede or soft leather version which would be preferred but I would even cop a pair of the shinier version.
Photobucket
The only thing I don't like is that they look a lot like the Reebok Question Low in Red and Blue.
Photobucket
Photobucket
I would like to see a few other colorways such as a white with black, black with white and a few other basic color schemes because I think this shoe has some serious potential for casual wear.

The Jordan Comfort Viz Air 11 is a newly-developed comfort series inspired by the Air Jordan XI.  These two colorways will release on September 4th, 2010.  No word on pricing yet.

Brandon Jennings Dancing Fruity to Lady Gaga's "Love Game"? (SUSPECT)

So this is mad suspect.  I guess Brandon Jennings lost a bet where he had to do a dance to Lady Gaga or some shit and post it on YouTube.  Um, dude.  Did the bet say you had to dance like a fruit? Please tell me that was part of the deal.  Otherwise, you are going to have fans and teammates questioning your sexuality for the rest of your career.  Not that there's anything wrong with that, I guess...

By the way, how impressive was it that he was able to keep that one crumb from falling off the side of his mouth while he was vogueing in his chair like he was RuPaul or some shit?  WTF?!  Official Fake Life...

Black Milk ft. Royce Da 5'9" & eLZhi - Deadly Medly (DOPE SHIT)

This is the official music video for "Deadly Medley" by Black Milk featuring Royce Da 5'9" and eLZhi off his new album, Album Of The Year, dropping on September 14th.

I'm not sure if the album will live up to it's super ballsy title but this track is definitely some dope shit. Black Milk makes some dirty ass beats and his flow has improved tremendously over the past few years so I expect him to bring some heat on this new joint.  If you've never heard any of his old stuff, I suggest you give it a listen.  His production skills are definitely solid.

Pool Domination (BADASS POOL DUNKING)

I caught a clip of these guys on ESPN's SportsNation on Friday afternoon and was amazed at some of the shit they were pulling off.  Yes I know, they are jumping off of a deck well above the rim and pool but they are doing some crazy acrobatics that were definitely dangerous as shit.  I give these kids props for having the balls to even think of half of this shit and then actually executing on it.

This is the closest anyone will come to pulling off real NBA Jam/Street dunks.  These kids are nuts!

English Bulldog Chilling On Couch Watching Family Guy (FUNNY)

How freakin' cool is this English Bulldog?  She is just sitting there like a human watching Family Guy as if it's normal for a dog to be chillin' out on the couch and watching TV.  All she needs is a beer and she's good.  I love that Brian the Dog is the one doing the talking in the clip too.  Perfect.

My Bulldog Boomer doesn't sit like this on the couch but he certainly watches TV and thinks he's a human.  He's the smartest dumb bastard I've ever met.  He might not react to what you say or do what you want but he certainly hears everything you are saying.  He just chooses to ignore you.  Bulldogs are definitely the coolest dogs around.  They might be lazy but they also do cool shit like ride skateboards and watch TV.

Lil Jon ft. 3OH!3 - "Hey" (JERSEY SHORE THEME SONG)

I kind of thought this was gonna suck and almost didn't listen to it but this is actually kind of hot.  It's a nice mix of Hip Hop, Pop and Electro. The hot bitches dancing around the pool in their bikinis while sippin' on that drank didn't hurt either.

"Hey" is also a part of the Jersey Shore Soundtrack (I can't believe that actually exists) which you might have figured out while watching the video.  They even showed a quick snippet of Ronnie getting dirty at the club with those two sluts.  Good times!

Lil Jon ft. 3OH!3 - "Hey"

The Jersey Shore Soundtrack is actually pretty solid if you like club music.  I actually have a lot of these songs on Dj RyB Hit Pop Volume 5.  I was surprised myself...

Nike Files Patent For Automatic Lacing System - Nike Air Mag "Marty McFly" Back II The Future Kicks On The Way?! (SICK)

This is awesome news!  The patent for the auto lacing system is almost a guarantee that Nike is going to at least try and make the Nike Air Mag "Marty McFly" shoes from Back II The Future 2.

Sneakerheads have been trying to get Nike to make these for years and we've been teased with a few joints like the Nike Hyperdunk and Hypermax "McFly" editions.

Back II The Future 2 takes place in 2015 so it seems like the timing is right for this patent.  This gives them right around 5 years to perfect the shoe and bring it to market.  I can't see them making more than a few hundred of these since they are probably cost prohibitive but the demand is going to be insane.

Most people will keep these in their closet as a collector's edition or sell them on eBay for a ridiculous mark up.  I can't imagine many people wearing them in public but you never know.  Styles could change quite a bit in the next 5 years.  Maybe Back II The Future will end up being more accurate with the predictions than we thought.  Hopefully they will have flying cars by then too.

Here's a look at the patent info that's been filed by Nike.  These look sick!

Thursday Throwbacks: Alkoholiks - "Make Room" & "Daaam!"

I forgot to put up a Thursday Throwbacks post yesterday because I basically had no idea what day of the week it was.  Whoops.  So I decided to hit you off with two joints from the Alkoholiks to make up for it.

The Liks have a ton of dope joints but "Make Room" and "Daaam!" might be my favorites.  These dudes are some of the best lyricists/rappers to ever come out of the West Coast.  They've got that rapid fire flow and dirty beat style that was influenced by the East Coast but still had the West Coast swagger.

I'm surprised they never did better commercially since they have some nice radio/club joints but there was a ton of competition back in the 90's so it's understandable that they flew a little under the radar.  If they came out today, they would destroy the competition.

If you have never listened to one of their albums, I suggest you start with their first one 21 & Over and then take it from there with Coast II Coast, Likwidation, X.O. Experience and Firewater.  All of them are nice and the first 3 are classics.  You can also check out their best of material on the album Bar Tab.

John Legend & The Roots ft. Common & Melanie Fiona - "Wake Up Everybody"

So I guess The Roots and John Legend are doing a collaborative album? "Wake Up Everybody" indeed.  How the hell have I not heard about this yet?!?! I am seriously slippin'!

These guys have been working together for years now so this makes a lot of sense. Collabos like this always get thrown around as rumors but no one seems to follow through very often. It's nice to see these guys took it seriously and decided to get together to make some great music that fuses Hip Hop, R&B and Soul. This should be unreal!

The collaborative album Wake Up! will be dropping on September 21st. That is an instant cop without a doubt.

By the way, this is a remake of an all time classic by Harold Melvin and The Bluenotes under the same name.  Teddy Pendergrass kills it on the lead vocals!

Justin Darlington & Guy Dupuy SHUT DOWN the Midnight Madness 2010 Dunk Contest (BEST DUNK CONTEST EVER)

This might be the best dunk contest that I've ever seen in my life!!!  Seriously.  If you can find one that's better, please send it my way but I can guarantee you that it doesn't exist.  I mean, these dudes are doing legit video game dunks that I didn't think were humanly possible.  A cartwheel dunk is already badass enough but then to go between the legs after the cartwheel on the next dunk?!?!?  WTF!?!?!  That was crazy!  He definitely stole that from NBA Live!

Or how about when Guy Dupuy catches the ball between his legs while a guy was holding it about 6 feet off the ground?  The crowd didn't even appreciate how nasty that dunk was because they were spoiled by the ridiculous shit they had already witnessed.  One dude showed him up by jumping over a guy while catching the ball between the legs with his foot so high that it looked like he could kick the rim.  DAMN!

Hey NBA, are you paying attention?  Just get rid of the players and let these professional dunkers fight it out during All-Star Weekend.  It would make All Star Weekend cool again and would blow the roof off the building from all of the excitement.  It would be literally unbelievable.  Get it done...

Roger Federer's Trickshot on Gillette Ad Shoot (COOL)

Is this real or fake?  I don't really care because that was cool as shit!  I could see Federer being able to do this for real at least once with a few tries but not twice in a row on just two serves. That is why you know it's fake but either way, it was a great idea.  The video has gone viral and in just 10 days it has over 5.5 million views.  Crazy!

Skillz - "Regular Guy" (NEW ISH)

That's just some dope shit right there!  I love that Skillz is reppin' for the average dude on "Regular Guy" and literally "keepin' it real" instead of rappin' about fake shit like all of the other clowns out there nowadays.  I would so much rather listen to someone rap about stuff that they actually did or dealt with in their life instead of trying to perpetrate like they've got tons of money, cars and girls.

I still don't understand why Skillz is not a bigger name in Hip Hop.  He's known in the underground by Hip Hop heads but the only reason why anyone outside of that has heard of him is because of his yearly "Rap Ups" on Hot 97.  That's a shame.

He's got a dope style, flow and voice that could easily be accepted by the mainstream.  His one liners and metaphors are unbelievable and he is just funny as hell.  I can't remember how many times I've had to hit rewind after one of his lines and I rarely ever do that for anyone these days.  I just don't get it.  I guess he's OK with ghostwriting for a lot of today's top artists and getting that check instead of trying to be int he spotlight himself.  I can't hate on that.  Get that money however you can, homey.

Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 Now Available (OLD SCHOOL)

Photobucket
Dopeness!  I love seeing the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 being released as a retro once again.  I always heard these were mad comfortable and I liked how badass they looked on court but I never got a pair for some reason.  I might just have to pick up a pair this time around because these are too good to pass up again.
Photobucket
Not everyone was a fan of these when they originally dropped back in 1994 but I think now that it's been more than 15 years, people are finally starting to appreciate how hot this shoe really is.  It's a little bulky and the original purple might throw some people off but you can't deny that these are some of the most unique basketball kicks Nike has ever dropped.  They also fit Barkley's style and personality perfectly.  He wasn't a finesse player by any means so he should have a shoe that reflects his rugged attitude and style of play.

The Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 is available now in stores and on Nike.com

"The Educators" - New Foot Locker Commercial Starring Rajon Rondo (COOL)

This is the new Foot Locker commercial starring my boy Rajon Rondo along with Amare Stoudemire, Justin Tuck, Desean Jackson and Sanya Richards.  I'm not sure I'm feeling the nerd glasses but I do like his intensity.  He only had a few lines but his acting was decent:

"Did I stay stop?"
(talks to whistle) "Did you hear me say stop?"
(puts whistle to ear) "Did I stay stop?"

I like how they subtly added Eminem's "Lose Yourself" in the background.  You can't help but get fired up every time you hear that beat drop...

Cee-Lo Green - "F*** You" (ONE CATCHY ASS SONG)

It looks like Cee-Lo has another huge hit on his hands with his new single "Fuck You".  It's already blowing up on YouTube with 1.8+ million views and it was just released on August 19th.  This isn't even the official video so I'm sure that will get some serious views once it releases next week.  This will definitely be a huge breakup anthem and it will also serve as the theme song for anyone who's in a shitty mood and just wants to say "Fuck You" to everyone.

It's nice to see the way Cee-Lo has blown up over the past few years.  He can rap and sing like no other and his unique voice and style makes him stand out from the crowd.  A lot of people only know him from the two Gnarls Barkley albums with DJ Danger Mouse but he has been making dope music since the mid 90's. I've been following him since his Goodie Mob and Dungeon Family days and always thought he deserved a lot more shine than he received.

He put out two solo albums that didn't sell well because in my opinion, they were way ahead of their time.  The albums created a mashup of multiple musical genres from Funk, Soul, Rock, R&B and Hip Hop which wasn't very accepted at the time but is what everyone seems to be doing these days.  It's nice to see that one of the biggest influences on the new school sound will finally have a huge solo hit on his hands.

Here are a few of my favorite songs from or featuring Cee-Lo:

Another Sick Catch by a Japanse CF - "Spider Man 2" (NASTY)

No, this is not the same catch that I posted just a few weeks ago but yes, it is the same guy team and the same pitcher (Saitou Yuki) on the mound. This time it was CF Amaya Soichiro who pulled off the crazy acrobatics.  Does this team practice these catches every day?  They must.  This is just too easy for them.

What are the chances that the same team would get two perfectly placed almost HR's that allowed their Centerfielders to climb the wall for an unreal catch within a few weeks of each other?  You could watch an entire MLB season and not see a catch like either one of these but these dudes just pulled off two in 3 weeks.  Crazy!

The Joy of a Salesman (FUNNY)

If you have ever been or are currently a salesperson then you will definitely appreciate this video.  Nothing is more frustrating than having management on your ass 24/7 to get your numbers up even though you are already at or near your quota while there are a bunch of douchebags on your sales team that don't sell shit but never get reprimanded.

Almost everyone has wanted to berate their boss with lines like these at some point in their career.  Too bad most people never have the balls.  Here are some of the classics:

Sales Guy: "Satan must really miss not having his prize demon with him in Hell right now."

Boss:  "This company is your family and by sandbagging you are hurting your family."

Sales Guy:  "If this company is my family, then I have been molested for years now by being financially raped up the ass with no lube."

Drake Ft. Lil Wayne – "Miss Me" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

This is the official music video for Drake's "Miss Me" featuring Lil Wayne from his debut album Thank Me Later.  I wasn't sure what I thought of the song when I first bought the album but I think it's growing on me and I think I might consider it one of the best on the album at this point.

It took me awhile to get used to the vibe at first since it feels like two completely different songs  mashed together but in a way that works.  The fairly uptempo beat and energized lyrics is how it starts off but then it kind of switches to a more R&B flavored joint on the hook with a more subtle rhythm.  Then the beat changes again and you are taken to the next level of the song.  It's almost like it's in 3 or 4 chapters or something.  I think that makes sense, right?

Anyway, I like how they threw in the video of Lil Wayne and made it look cool with his image reflecting on multiple objects and in different angles and sizes.  I'm sure they probably recorded that before Weezy went to jail and it was probably just in front of a green screen or something plain so they could use it any way they saw fit.  They definitely made it work.

Lorenzo - "Fresh Out The Box" Mixtape (HOT R&B)

I just finished listening to my boy Lorenzo's new mixtape "Fresh Out the Box" and the shit is tight. If you're looking for some new R&B with a Hip Hop influence then you should definitely check it out. He's got a unique sound and style that combines a sing song rappin' type flow on the verses while still being able to bang out the notes on the hooks or some of the more traditional R&B tracks like "Unthinkable".

If you are from New England you should definitely support him since he's from the Boston area.  Rappers and producers from Boston have been increasing in popularity over the past few years but there really isn't anyone out there currently reppin' the Bean in the R&B arena so there is definitely an opportunity for him there.

Kanye West Ft. Jay-Z & Swizz Beatz - "Power Remix" (RIDICULOUS)

Oh shit!  This remix of Kanye's "Power" is hard as hell!  Wow.  I think this is better than the original if that's even possible.  Kanye is not messing around anymore.  He is bringing some serious heat.  This new album is going to be ridiculous!

Jay-Z destroyed this track and I think that got Kanye to step his lyrics up big time.  I could do without Swizz Beatz yappin' on the track but I do like how they switched up the beat and went with an old school sound.  You can even hear the "I've Got the Power" sample in the background.  Shit is hot!!!

Download it now before the links disappear.  128K and 256K versions available.

Birdman Buys a New $2.1 Million Bugatti Veyron 16.4 (I'M RICH BITCH!)

Photobucket
So this is what it's like to be rich as f***!!!  Damn.  It must be nice to be able to throw down $2 Mil on a car like it ain't no thang.  I bet Birdman will probably drive this a maximum of 5 times in his life  at best.  It's kind of like buying a really rare pair of sneakers for $500 or something.  You know they are dope as shit and you want to show them off but you don't want to wear them in fear of someone stepping on them or messing them up and decreasing the value.
Photobucket
It's kind of the same deal here.  Why would you drive this car with the potential for it to be scratched or something shitty to happen to it?  There are so many terrible drivers out there, plus the roads are filled with potholes and bumps that will mess up a big and tough truck or SUV so imagine what it would do to a dope ass luxury car that's about 2 inches from the ground.  I'd probably bring it to a car show and that's about it.  Then it's on completel lockdown in the garage for life.  If you want to see that shit, you come to me.

GZA's Wu-Tang Documentary Trailer (LOOKS AWESOME)

This is the trailer to the official GZA/Wu-Tang documentary that has been 10 years in the making.  HOLY SHIT this is going to be so dope!  It might be a few years late since Wu is kind of irrelevant these days but it is going to be cool as shit to relive some of those awesome Wu-Tang concerts from back in the day and get an exclusive behind the scenes look at some of my favorite rappers.

The best show I ever saw was Wu-Tang Clan opening up for Rage Against the Machine at the Tweeter Center in Foxboro, MA back in like 1997.  Both groups tour the roof off.   It was such a crazy combination of fans that it just worked.  Although, I'm not sure Wu's audience is so different from Rage's since it consists of mostly white suburban kids but we can at least pretend that it was this crazy eclectic mix of fans...

Anyway, I've never met anyone that used to be into Wu and then stopped listening. You are either all in or you just don't like them at all. A lot of fans like myself might not buy the new shit that often but they certainly still bang the classics like Enter the 36 Chambers, Wu-Tang Forever and all of the classic solo albums.  There will be a huge core of loyal fans that will buy the shit out of this DVD.  I will definitely buy this as soon as it comes out and have it on heavy rotation.

Thursday Throwbacks: Eric B. & Rakim - Juice (Know The Ledge)

I can't believe I've waited this long to use Eric B. & Rakim's "Juice (Know The Ledge)" for the Thursday Throwback post but I think it's about that time.  I feel like I say this every time I throw up an old school track but this song is literally one of my all time favorites.  It has an unbelievable energy, the production is unreal and Rakim brings the heat in what might be one of his best lyrical performances of all time.

On top of that, it's from my favorite movie, JUICE.  People always ask me why I became a DJ and it's basically because of this movie.  Watching Q spin on the 1's and 2's all movie long made me want to go and get some turntables so bad.  I couldn't afford them until I got to college a few years later but once I did, I was locked in.  I watched this movie so much that I would wear out the VHS tape to the point that it was unwatchable.  I've probably owned about 3 copies since and now have it on DVD.

If you want to take a blast to the past and relive the early 90's right now then take a look at the clips below.  I almost lost my mind when I saw the second clip.  I forgot how many Reebok Pumps Q was rockin'!  So many classics!

Levar Allen - "Game Over" The Super Mario Bros Remix (SOLID)

I was a little skeptical of this song at first since remixing video games and specifically, Super Mario Bros. has gotten a little played out over the past few years but "Game Over" was actually really good.  It actually felt like a complete song as opposed to someone just jacking the sample and putting some garbage lyrics over it to try and be funny or something.  It was really good!

This dude Levar Allen has some serious musical skills.  He has a nice flow and sings really well, plus he's pretty nice with the beats.  I was definitely locked in the whole way through. Just dope shit all around.
