Coach Jon Gruden's Hoot Camp TV Commercial - "Pour" (AWESOME)

I saw this new Hooters commercial this past weekend when I was watching DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket App for the first time.  Other than the advantage of seeing every out of market game, I also got to see some awfully bad regional commercials.  This Hooters commercial featuring Jon Gruden and a super hot Hooters chick isn't the worst I've ever seen but it is a little awkward.

The concept was pretty awesome but Gruden is such a creep and awful actor so it just makes the whole thing uncomfortable.  Either way, I think it's one of the best commercials I've seen in a long time.  Unintentional comedy, football references with sexual innuendo, images of beer and wings and last but not least, a super hot chick with bombs.  AWESOME.

Blake Griffin & Kevin Love: Jenga Stack Champs Commercial (STYLE POINTS!)

The only reason why I've seen this commercial is because it ran during a cartoon my son was watching the other day.  I don't know why they wouldn't run this spot on other more adult focused channels because not only is it pretty funny and a cool concept but it actually makes me want to play Jenga!  On top of that, drunken Jenga is fun as shit so they should really try and target the 21-35 set that would consider buying the game for that purpose alone. They are missing out on a huge market!

The Dark Knight Rises - Official Teaser Trailer #2 (SICK)

You've probably already seen this trailer for the Dark Night Rises since it's been everywhere this week but it's too f'n good not to post up.  This looks like it might even be better than the last, if that's possible.  Check for the Hines Ward appearance during the madness on the football field too.  Crazy!

SHAQ's Parking Problem at TNT (FUNNY COMMERCIAL)

Although this is kind of a parody, I feel like this isn't too far from reality with Shaq.  He probably drives one of his beast SUV's or trucks to the set every night.  Just check out some of these monster rides.  So crazy!

NBA 2K12 Promo - "Jordan Invitation" (6 RINGS)

My man Michael Jordan breaks it down in this new spot for the new NBA 2K12 video game that will be dropping later this fall.  My favorite line was when he said "'98 Bulls.  No pushoff."  Nuff said!  HA HA.

Party Rock Anthem-Kia Soul Hamster Commercial

I know a lot of people think the Kia hampsters are ridiculous but I've always thought it was kind of funny and a safe way to target the young audience without seeming like they were trying too hard.  Even though LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" is officially played out from the constant radio spins, it's still kind of cool seeing the hampsters dance get down to it.

Kenny Powers - "K-Swiss CEO" Video Ucensored (HYSTERICAL)

Awesome.  That's all I can really say.  This is just some classic Kenny Powers shit right here.  So good!

Dr. Dre “Good Things” - New Chrysler 300 Commercial (HOTNESS)

Woah!  I'm loving this new Chrysler 300 commercial with Dr. Dre representing L.A. in a similar spot to Eminem's Super Bowl ad reppin' Detroit.  Not only is this a sick commercial but the car itself looks money and it looks like it's bringing some serious heat with the sound system.  Check this shit out.  Totally unnecessary yet completely awesome:

"Beats by Dr. Dre founder and hip hop legend Dr. Dre will star in “Good Things,” a bold 60-second commercial spot for the all-new 2012 Chrysler 300, set to debut during Game 3 of the NBA finals Sunday night on ABC.

The commercial, directed by veteran Mark Romanek, highlights the exclusive Chrysler partnership with Beats by Dre and its unique position as the only automobile with a sound system designed to replicate the recording studio sound experience, designed by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

Beats by Dr. Dre founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine worked side-by-side with the engineering team at Chrysler to design and tune the 10-speaker audio system; and make the Chrysler 300S to the closest you can get to a recording studio on four wheels."

Derrick Rose: adidas adiZero Crazy Light Commercial - "What's in a Number" ft. Big Sean's "I Do It" (HOT)

You might have seen this new adidas ad featuring D. Rose during last night's game.  It's simple but effective.  I like how they make quick cuts between game highlights and D. Rose walking through the city of Chicago.  The beat is from Big Sean's "I Do It" and really pulls it all together.  Dope!

Blake Griffin Dunks Over a Tiger (RAGE COMMERCIAL)

I had never heard of the game RAGE until now so I guess this little commercial featuring Blake Griffin did its job.  I literally only watched it because of him but now I know about the game and could possibly consider purchasing it.  That's what you call "expanding your audience".  Well played, id Software.

The video itself wasn't even that funny but it was pretty cool to see Blake Griffin dunk over a tiger.  Now THAT is what he should have done during the dunk contest.  That car jump was weak...

MLB 11 The Show Commercial Ft. J. Cole's "Blow Up" (COOL)

First things first. This game looks sick. I have MLB 10 The Show for the PS3 and although it's hard as shit, it's still a fun game so I'm sure I will pick up the new one for the updated rosters and other improvements.

You may have seen this commercial recently now that the MLB season is under way but I thought it was worth posting because of the use of J. Cole's song "Blow Up" as the soundtrack. I thought it was kind of cool considering how lame MLB is at times. Even though the song is a little old now, it took some balls to use it considering most baseball fans listen to mostly country and rock. At least they are embracing the fact that gamers are little more open to Hip Hop.

Here's the full version of J. Cole's "Blow Up" in case you've never heard it or just want to hear it again. "Bitch, I'mma bout to blow up!!!"

Nike 'Better World' Commercial (SICK)

Cool concept. This new 'NikeBetterWorld' commerical is made from 100% recycled ads. I remember most of the originals, especially the older commercials. There are some serious classics in there. This is probably the first memorable sneaker ad I've seen in a few years and it isn't even really new if you think about it. Come on sneaker companies. Step your game up.

'33 by Asics' Commercial - "Gravity, Meet Your Archenemy" (COOL)

I didn't even know Asics still existed as a company but it's nice to see them coming up with something new to compete in the ultra competitive shoe game.  This new commercial was really effective because it certainly caught my attention.  "Gravity, Meet Your Archenemy" is a great tagline and the concept of the floating ping pong balls to convey what it would feel like wearing the shoe is genius.

I used to rock Asics Gels back in the day and they were a super comfortable shoe with decent styling. They kind of disappeared for awhile and I think they just focused on running shoes for the past 10-15 years so that is why I didn't pay much attention to them.  It's not like I wouldn't consider them as a functional shoe, I just hate running and working out so I just pick up a pair of Nike Airs at the local shoe store and I'm done with it.

It looks like they are starting to get back into the shoe game with the new 33 model and I have to say, they look pretty legit. They are still focused on running and function but the style of the shoe could certainly work for casual attire as well. I like those grey and orange joints a lot. If these end up being in the affordable range, I would certainly consider picking up a pair to wear around or even work out in.

Brooklyn Decker in "Just Go With It" (SEXY)

WOW! It's hard to think about what to say while you're looking at pictures of Brooklyn Decker. She has a BANGIN' body and she definitely knows how to flaunt it.

Decker tried out acting in the new Sandler and Aniston movie that came out last week and I'm hearing it was actually pretty funny. Most of the things I've heard are that Nick Swardson saved Sandler because as we all know he just isn't that funny anymore. If you're not familiar with Swardson, you gotta check out some of his stand-up.

"Just Go With It" and Decker especially were previewed in this Super Bowl Commercial:

Jennifer Aniston nailed it with her response to Decker coming out of the water. OMG! Those things are amazing. This commercial was awesome because you know every guy watching was thinking about rewinding it with DVR and then BAM they did it for you.

Frank Caliendo's Super Bowl XLV Picks as Charles Barkley (FUNNY)

I forgot to post this earlier in the week and you probably saw it during the Super Bowl pre-game show but it's funny enough to take a second look.  I love Frank Caliendo's impersonations and he's really perfected his Charles Barkley.  It's not just about saying "Turrrible" anymore.  He's got a legit act going.  Love it.

Aries Spears of Mad TV fame also did a great Shaq impersonation and of course having the real Shaq show up and do a really crappy but still funny Terry Bradshaw impersonation brought the whole skit together to make it a classic.  Definitely some funny shit.

Speaking of Aries Spears, if you've never seen his stand up act, I suggest you do some digging on YouTube.  The dude is pretty funny and he does some great rapper impersonations:

Kim Kardashian's Skechers Super Bowl Ad (HOT)

Yes, you probably already saw this Skechers commercial featuring Kim Kardashian during the game yesterday but who cares.  This one could get another 1,000 views and I still wouldn't be sick of it.  Kim is looking sexier than ever.  Just curves for days.  Even her humongous ass was in check in those tight black pants.  It's too bad I was watching the game with a group of people because I defintiely would have put it on pause if I was watching it by myself.  So hot!

Also, if you haven't seen them yet, I highly recommend you check out the pics from her recent W Magazine photo shoot (NSFW version here).  They basically just painted her in silver and had her stand butt naked in front of the camera in some great poses.  I can't get over how awesomely curvy this broad is.  Just T & A for days.

Eminem's Super Bowl Commercials - Chrysler and Brisk Iced Tea (BADASS)

Well, I wasn't expecting Eminem to show up in any Super Bowl commercials, yet alone two but that was a nice surprise, at least for a fan like me.  Overall, the commercials were pretty boring or just plain terrible but these two featuring Em definitely got my attention.  I thought the Brisk Ice Tea commercial above was kind of random considering they don't do much advertising, yet alone a $3 million spot during the Super Bowl.  However, the commercial itself was solid and I loved that they let Eminem be himself with a combination of humor and anger.  I give it a solid B+ grade.

The second commercial featuring Eminem was for the new Chrysler 200.  This one is getting a lot of positive attention from the ad critics because of it's serious but motivational tone. It shed some light on Detroit's struggles and how they are fighting to make a comeback as "The Motor City".  I loved the effect of the choir singing in the theater while the "Lose Yourself" instrumental plays underneath.  It gave the commercial the perfect vibe.  I give this one a B+ as well.

Favre's Version of LeBron's Nike Commercial 'Rise' - "What should I do?" (FUNNY)

Now that's how you do it. Just an awesome video all around. The execution was on point, it was funny and the actor even looked and sounded just like Brett Favre. The fact that they remixed LeBron's "Rise" commercial makes it that much better.  Funny shit...

"Tommy, completions are way more awesome when you force them through triple coverage"

"Wanna see my penis? My purple helmet, my private jet, my pu-be sneak, my peyton man-thing, my adrian penison...wanna see my danny woodhead, thats not even a joke i just think he's a good player, like to name my penis after him."

Jay Electronica & Mtn Dew Code Red Commercial: "Hip Hop is Different on the Mountain"

I have no idea how I stumbled across this Mountain Dew ad featuring Jay Electronica because I've never actually seen it on TV but I have to admit, it's a cool collabo.  It's nice to see a big company linking up with an underground artist for one of their promos.  They are obviously trying to gain some street cred by working with him so that they can show they are "hip" but inadvertently, they are giving Jay Electronica some of the shine he deserves and introducing him potentially to a new and larger audience.  He's obviously getting paid for it as well. Ain't nothing wrong with that!

The actual concept of the spot was actually really solid too.  It just shows Jay zoning out for a good minute and a half while he spits some major heat.  You never really know if he is really performing in front of a crowd and then zones out to pretend there is no one there OR if there really is no one around him and he just pretends the crowd is out there while he gets ready for his show.  Very cool.

Nike Jordan Brand: Dominate Another Day - 'The Escape' (COOL)

You might have already seen this new Jordan Brand commercial starring Dwyane Wade but I have never actually seen it on TV so I thought I would throw it up.  Is it just me, or could this be a bad ass comic book style movie?  Considering some of the crap that gets made these days, anything is possible.  I think this would be a lot better than a lot of the films in this style that have been released lately.

It would also be a throwback to the days when NBA superstars like Shaq and Michael Jordan were making movies.  Actually, maybe we shouldn't let this happen.  I love Shaq and all but he made some terrible movies.  Although, he was pretty solid as Neon Boudreau in Blue Chips.  Classic!
