Richard Sherman's Post Game Interview - WWF Remix (PERFECT)

You've probably seen the Richard Sherman interview about a hundred times by now if you watch the NFL or even clicked on ESPN for half a second but you might not have seen this awesome remix just yet. It really doesn't get much more perfect than this. Sherman was going straight WWF/WWE Promo after the game. Classic.

Coach Jon Gruden's Hoot Camp TV Commercial - "Pour" (AWESOME)

I saw this new Hooters commercial this past weekend when I was watching DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket App for the first time.  Other than the advantage of seeing every out of market game, I also got to see some awfully bad regional commercials.  This Hooters commercial featuring Jon Gruden and a super hot Hooters chick isn't the worst I've ever seen but it is a little awkward.

The concept was pretty awesome but Gruden is such a creep and awful actor so it just makes the whole thing uncomfortable.  Either way, I think it's one of the best commercials I've seen in a long time.  Unintentional comedy, football references with sexual innuendo, images of beer and wings and last but not least, a super hot chick with bombs.  AWESOME.

Kickalicious Video Gets Havad Rugland A Tryout With The NY Jets (SOLID)

I meant to post this video up last week when it was starting to make the rounds but I don't know that it was noticed as much as I expected so it's still not too late to have a look. Norwegian futbol player Havard Rugland put together this pretty cool trick video of him doing crazy punts and kicks with a football all over the place and it has helped him land a tryout with the New York Jets. Pretty impressive if you ask me. This video has convinced me to train my little dudes to be kickers and punters in hopes of getting a college scholarship and possibly the NFL. There's definitely less competition for those positions so who knows. Lots of pressure but also a solid salary and you kick into your 40's. Sounds good to me!

Keenan Thompson Does Ray Lewis Impersonation on SNL (AMUSING)

This wasn't the best sports related SNL spoof I've ever seen but I'll give them credit for the timeliness. Ray Lewis is basically a caricature of himself at this point anyway so it's hard to exaggerate his personality when the real thing is almost as crazy as this!

Brandon Spikes' Turnover Dance (CLASSIC)

This dance was completely unnecessary and a little dramatic but it might have been my favorite part of the Pats game last night. The funniest part is that the fumble recovery didn't really happen because the refs called it back somehow so this dance was all for nothing. Still funny as shit though...

Titan Nate Washington's Amazing Catch vs. Lions (SICK)

This has to be at the top of the list for Catch of the Year so far.  There have been a few nice grabs this year already but this one has to be one of the most difficult.  That was some incredible concentration by Nate Washington to stick with the ball even though he had to basically jump over and take it away from the defender.  Nicely done!

Funny Ish from NFL Week 1 (LOWLIGHTS)

I guess there were more than a few people that were a little rusty in Week 1 of the NFL season.  In the video above, Vernon Davis stuffed himself on the crossbar after a failed "dunk" attempt.  That was on Sprite commercial type ish!

I'm not even sure how this one happened but Browns Rookie QB Brandon Weeden gets caught underneath the huge American Flag that the military was breaking out for the national anthem.  I don't know whether to blame Weeden for not warming up in the right place or blame the guys breaking out the flag and not even looking before they started running.  Either way, it was pretty funny.

Finally, my boy Gronk looks like he needs to practice his famous Gronk Spike a little bit more since he fumbled it on one of his touchdowns from Sunday against the Titans.  I think the Summer of Gronk may have had something to do with his rustiness.  Dude was EVERYWHERE!

"This is SportsCenter" - John Clayton Rocks a Mullet and Slayer Shirt (FUNNY)

John Clayton is the man when it comes to NFL news but he's kind of a dork.  I actually want to believe this is what he's like in real life once the cameras are off.  Too funny!

Stuff NFL Free Agents Say by Anthony "Spice" Adams (FUNNY ISH)

Former NFL Defensive Tackle Spice Adams is currently unemployed and is waiting to hear from ANY team to get a chance to play this season.  He decided to put together this clip of what it's like to be waiting for that phone call and what you do with all of the downtime and it ended up being pretty damn funny.  I was loving the P90X part.  That's exactly how I felt when I started it.  Shit is rough!  I can't imagine how much that would suck for a dude that size...

Jersey Shore Gets Gronked (FUNNY)

You knew it was only a matter of time before someone put together a Gronk/Jersey Shore Mashup. This is a pretty ghetto creation but I think that's what makes it so good. I love the poorly done overdubs on Gronk when he's talking to the camera. I'm pretty sure he said his name was Roberto at one point as well. Classic.

"I Wanna Gronk" - Rob Gronkowski Tribute Video (FUNNY AND SOLID)

I usually hate videos like this since they are almost always terrible but the production value on this one is actually kind of solid. This is by far the best one out there right now. Anything that gets Pats fans and Gronk fired up for the Super Bowl Sunday works in my book.

Tim Tebow SNL Sketch (FUNNY)

This SNL skit went exactly how you would expect but it was still pretty funny.  I'm just surprised it took them so long to make it.  I love that this aired on Saturday and then the Broncos got stomped on Sunday by the Pats kind of like Jesus predicted.  HA HA.

Gronk Goes Beast Mode On the Redskins (RIDICULOUS)

You can't stop Gronkowski.  You can only hope to contain him.  This dude is just a monster.  It literally takes 4 or 5 people to tackle this guy on a regular play and he keeps getting stronger each week.  Just look at this play from yesterday's game against the Redskins.  It's like he's a college kid playing against a Pop Warner team.  That shit ain't even fair!

Vikings' Kyle Rudolph's Sick Catch vs Broncos

Sick catch, bro.  That's what you call concentration and some serious hand strength.  It's too bad it didn't help them get the win though.  Tebow and the Broncos came back to win AGAIN.  This is officially out of control.  You cannot stop Tebow.  You can only hope to contain him.

NFL Catch of the Year? - Chiefs' Jonathan Baldwin Pulls Off the Impossible

This play technically didn't count as a legal catch because there was a penalty on the Chiefs that brought it back but it still needs to be considered for catch of the year because of the degree of difficulty. Baldwin secured the ball against Brian Dawkins' back and then found a way to pull it in and get possession while falling to the ground. Unreal!

Troy Polamalu at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (FUNNY)

I meant to throw this up last week but since I'm already on the football vibe today, I thought I'd throw it up now.  Better late than never.  This has been done quite a bit over the years but it never seems to get old.  I think it works better in this instance because of Troy Polamalu's crazy ass hair.  It's almost like no one can believe that it's actually real hair and just assumes it's a wig on a wax figure.  Funny shit.

Victor Cruz and Dwayne Bowe's Ridiculous Catches from the Weekend (UNREAL)

I know I'm almost two days late on these clips but I had the day off yesterday and didn't post anything and these two catches are certainly worth another look.  It's tough to say which one is better but you can almost guarantee that both will be considered for catch of the year.  Both used incredible athleticism and concentration to pull these off.  So sick!

BONUS:  I also thought the incident between the Panther's Steve Smith and Saint's Roman Harper was worth another look since it involved a sick catch by Smith and an unnecessary late hit by Harper that started a small brawl.  Good times!

Giants' Michael Boley Nails Guy in the Face with Football After TD (AWESOME)

Damn son!  You just got F'd up!  Getting hit in the face any time has to suck but it's even worse when millions of people see it happening live and laugh at you in unison.  Before the game, this dude probably thought he was all cool working for the Giants as an intern and probably bragged to all of his friends to look for him on the field during the game because he would be standing in the end zone.  He had no idea that this fiasco would happen and all of a sudden he's the newest viral video on the internet because he got drilled with the football thrown by his own team!  That's gotta suck.

Domenik Hixon's Ridiculous Catch During Monday Night Football (SICK)

I didn't catch any of this game last night because I was too busy trying to get my fat ass up and down the court during old man pick up basketball.  I guess I missed one of the more ridiculous catches of the year when Domenik Hixon hauled this one in at the end of the 2nd quarter.

At first glance, I wanted to rip Eli for making another terrible throw but it wasn't really that bad after the replay.  It might have been a bit behind Hixon but it certainly wasn't the worst throw ever either.  If anything, Hixon should have probably caught the ball without bobbling it but it looks like his left armed got tied up with the defender.  Either way, that shit was sick and will probably end up being one of the best catches of the year.

Julio Jones' Ridiculous Jumping Catch in Warmups (MAD HOPS)

Even if you saw this last night during Sunday Night Football, it's worth seeing it again because it was so insane.  Everyone knows Julio Jones is a ridiculous athlete but this is on some other shit.  Not only did he make a sick one handed catch on a terrible pass but he also jumped so high that he probably would have hit his head on the rim if he were on a basketball court.  Just nasty!

I would love to see this dude throw down some dunks on the court for real.  Foot Locker used to have a Slam Dunk Contest with celebrities and athletes and it was always entertaining.  I would love to see that come back just to see this Jones destroy the competition.  I can't imagine anyone being able to beat him unless Mike Conley Sr. decided to make another appearance.
