DJ Steve Porter's "Rob Ford Crack Remix" (PLUS BONUS REMIXES)

I think any Hip Hop fan aware of this Rob Ford guy has probably been humming "Rob Ford" to Jay-Z's "Tom Ford" track like I have for the past few weeks now. The connection was too obvious. DJ Steve Porter used that vibe for his new remix/mash-up video and it came out pretty damn awesome. I also found these while I was searching for it on YouTube and they were also pretty solid. If Chris Farley was still alive you know he'd be having a field day with this. He wouldn't even need to write any material!

Everlast - Jump Around?" Acoustic Version (BADASS)

We probably shoudl have seen this one coming a long time ago when Everlast started going more towards the rock and guitar style on the Whitey Ford album but I guess he never decided to do it until now. It's not mind blowing but it's definitely a cool take on the House of Pain classic that brought him to fame in the first place. This is from his new album "The Life Acoustic". It might be worth a listen. I prefer his rap days but I also appreciate some of his newer stuff so I'll give it a shot...

Kanye West's New Video for "Bound 2" Featuring a Topless Kim Kardashian Is Amazing (AND ALSO INSANELY WEIRD)

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player I don't really know where the hell Kanye came up with this idea for his new "Bound 2" video but I think it's f'n awesome. It's almost like he is messing with people and trying to get a reaction out of talking heads because it has so many strange pieces to it. Whatever the reason was, it seemed to work because he got people talking about it and sharing it all across the country. Here's the breakdown: 1) He's riding on a motorcycle but it's not really moving because he has a fake background of the Grand Canyon or somehting in the background moving instead like some old school western with a green screen. It almost looks like he made it on his MacBook Pro using some bssic video editing feature. Awesome. 2) Kim is naked or at least topless and it looks like they are banging while the bike bounces up and down the road. You can't really see her fully nude but the shadowed effect is enough for me. I'm a big fan of Kim wearing little to no clothing. Even awesomer. 3) He debuted this on Ellen which really makes no sense considering it's on during the day and is watched mostly by bored housewives and unemployed folks. I'm not sure the audience had any clue what they were in for when they got their tickets for the show that day but I'm pretty sure most of them were shocked and a good majority was probably offended in some way because that's how boring housewives respond to shit like this. Pissing off middle America and day time TV is always a smart move if you want people talking about your shit. Infinite awesomeness. Anyway, whether he did this to mess with people or did it on some crazy artistic shit, I don't really care. Just hearing broads at work yap about this in disgust or sheer amazement was enough for me. If you can put out a music video that actually gets talked about and shared these days, you have accomplished something because most are either pure crap or are just doing crazy shit for the shock value. Kanye was probably trying to be a little shocking but he also looks like he was just having fun with his hot ass girl riding naked on a bike and is getting people to buy his music at the same time. That's a win in my book any day.

Lakers' Xavier Henry Dunks All Over the Pelicans (WOW)

I meant to post this up yesterday but got distracted.  It's good enough that I still had to post it.  It's definitely one of the better dunks of the fresh NBA season.  I've seen a few nasty dunks from Henry already so he is someone to watch for this year for some serious highlights.  The Lakers suck so he should continue to get plenty of playing time all year for these types of plays.  Here's another bonus dunk from a few weeks back. Dude has seriously quick hops!

Harlem Globetrotter William "Bull" Bullard Almost Crushed by Backboard On Huge Dunk (SCARY)

This was one of the scariest dunks I've ever seen.  I don't know that anyone has ever died from dunking before but this is probably the closest you will ever see.  William "Bull" Bullard is known to throw down some massive dunks where he pulls his whole body up to the rim and hang with his feet on the rim or backboard but this didn't work out quite so well.

This looks like one of those older hoops that aren't built to withstand this much force and it just snapped and came straight down on his head.  He's lucky it didn't hit him in the neck or throat because he could have gotten paralyzed or possibly died.  He looked to be OK at the end when he came back out to watch the game but he definitely got a nice gash in his forehead.  It's nice to see he wasn't seriously injured.

The Globetrotters might want to rethink their dunk strategy because it looks like they've been breaking backboards all over the world.  Maybe they should only do these massive dunks in the US where there are more up to date hoops that have been Shaq proofed.

All of the rims got updated after Shaq started destroying them all back in the 90's.

Jeff Green's AMAZING Buzzer-Beater vs Miami Heat (NASTY)

This is a couple days late obviously but I had to throw it up since I still can't believe this happened.  No one even expected the Celtics to be competitive against the Heat, yet alone win this game.  They probably should have lost by about 20 had the Heat actually tried a little harder and not played to the level of their opponent (a classic old school C's move) but it happens once in awhile when playing a crappy team.  The C's also played great all game and kept themselves in it so this was just the icing on the cake.

Had Wade just hit one free throw or even hit the rim on the second one, the game is over.  The Heat really screwed this one up multiple times.  I'll take the win though.  There aren't going to be many positive moments like this for the Celtics this season so I will take whatever I can get.  That's three wins in a row, including another solid win against Orlando on Friday.  Who saw that coming!?!?

I almost forgot about Green's sick dunks too.  Dude is finally starting to turn it around.  That's what we need!

Central Florida JC Patriots' Javonte Douglas Gets Head Above Rim on Putback Dunk (INSANE HOPS)

This might be one of the best in-game dunks I've ever seen.  I feel like I say that a lot but I keep finding bigger and better dunks that beat the last one.  I can't imagine there will be many better than this.  Javonte's head is well above the rim.  Actually, I think his chest is even above the rim. Ridiculous!

He might have caught just a little boost from the defender and/or teammate below him but I honestly don't think it helped much.  Dude was already flying high when any contact was made.  I wish there were more camera angles and better quality video because I want to see this from every possible direction but at least there is video evidence either way.  So nasty!

"Hello Paul" - Pierce's Introduction to Brooklyn (COOL)

I have to admit that it's been tough watching Pierce and Garnett play for another team this season but I wish them nothing but the best and hope they can both get one more ring before they retire in a few years.  We all knew the rebuilding had to happen sooner than later in Boston but it's never easy to let go of your favorite players, especially those that helped bring another championship to town.

It's nice to see Pierce embracing his new home in Brooklyn.  I'll be rooting for them all season as my "second team" after the Celtics.  It should be fun to see them playing with more talent around them again with a good chance at getting another ring before all is said and done...
