Flo Rida ft. David Guetta - "Club Can't Handle Me" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

A lot of people say that Flo Rida sold out a long time ago by making poppy songs for the radio but I honestly don't think he cares.  Dude keeps making hits and is banking crazy money in an industry where most artists are just trying to get by these days.  I can't hate on the dude at all.  He makes good Hip Pop songs that are huge on the radio and clubs.  So what?  On top of that, he's one of the fastest and most unique sounding rappers out right now and when he gets down to serious subject matter on his albums, he's actually really good.

I'm pretty sure 80-90% of artists would love to be in the same situation with the money and the fame that he has acquired.  Obviously many people make music for the love of it but at some point you need to make some money too since your career is most likely going to be short lived. Keep doing your thing man.  I ain't mad at you.

Hip Hop Grandpa Dancing His Ass Off (DO YOUR THING HOMEY!)

This old dude freakin' rocks!  That's how you get down right there.  Just let it all out and let the beat take control. He actually has some decent rhythm compared to these other younger fools in the video too.  Do your thing, old guy!

I'm pretty sure this is going to be me when I'm old and grey as long as I don't have a broken hip or haven't lost my hearing by then. People always ask me "When are you going to stop listening to Rap music?" as if I'm going to grow out of it or something but they just don't get it.  This is the music I grew up with and the shit I like.  I will always love this type of music or whatever is similar to rap in 50 years.  I might end up only listening to the "classics" but I'll still be bumpin' that bass in my ride.

I can almost guarantee I'll have a subwoofer and sick stereo system in my flying car even when I'm pushing 80 and shouldn't be driving anymore.  I will probably need it that loud by then just to be able to hear it anyway.  Picture Me Rollin'!!!

Random Ish - Pilot Fakes Fainting, Gator Feeding Frenzy & More

Pilot fakes fainting while flying plane and scares the shit out of his friend.  Just listen to that scream!  That's true fear right there.  Wow.

"I ain't never seen so many gators IN MY LIFE!!!"

Enter Sandman Faceplant - I love that the band just keeps going like they see this all the time. This might be one of the worst renditions of the song I've ever heard by the way...

This might possibly be the best Soccer celebration ever. I'm surprised no one had ever thought of "Catching the Big One" before.  Classic!

Jadakiss Ft. TL Cross - "All Falls Down" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Oh shit!  This new track "All Falls Down" is ridiculous!  Jada is back with a vengeance.  That beat is on fire, the hook is solid and Jada is killing it as usual.  He's beatin' up the beat!  Just dopeness all around.

This could end up being one of his most commercially successful songs if it can catch a little radio play.  This shit is hot! "All Falls Down" is currently featured on "The Champ Is Here 3" Mixtape but I bet it will end up being released on his next album as well.  This one is too good to be used on a mixtape only...

Thursday Throwbacks: KRS-One - "MC's Act Like They Don't Know"

"MC's Act Like They Don't Know" popped up on my iPod on the drive home last night and I almost lost my shit.  I hadn't listened to this song in years but as soon as I heard that intro I was locked in and singing along to every lyric as if I had just heard it on repeat for the 10th time in a row like back in the day when I used to pump this song before my basketball games.  I basically wore out my cassette single to the point that it was unplayable.

This might be one of my favorite DJ Premier produced tracks of all time and that's saying a lot because his catalog goes on for days.  There's just something about that catchy bassline and the crazy dinner bell sound that flows in and out throughout.  That's just pure heat right there.

To create the beat, Premier sampled trumpet player Clifford Brown's "Yesterdays".  This is just another example of the excellent ear he had for finding samples.  Who would have ever thought to use this song for a rap song?  Unreal!

"MC's Act Like They Don't Know" still holds up over 15 years later and is actually even more relevant today than back when he first created it. A lot of rappers these days only focus on releasing chart topping singles for the radio instead of coming up with dope lyrics or be able to rock a crowd live.

Lyrics:

Clap your hands everybody if you got what it takes
Cos I'm KRS and I'm on the mic and Premier's on The Breaks

Verse 1

If you don't know me by now I doubt you'll ever know me
I never won a Grammy I won't win a Tony
But I'm not the only MC keepin' it real
When I grab the mic to smash a rapper girls go "Illlll!"
Check the time as I rhyme it's 1995
Whenever I arrive the party gets liver
Flow with the master rhymer, that's to leave behind
The video rapper, you know, the chart climber
Clapper, down goes another rapper

Onto another matter, punch up the data, Blastmaster
Knowledge Reigns Supreme Over Nearly Everybody
Call up KRS, I'm guaranteed to rip a party
Flat top, braids, bald heads or natty dread
There once was a story about a man named Jed
But now Jed is dead, all his kids instead
Want to kick rhymes off the top of they head
Word, what go around come around I figure
Now we got white kids callin' themselves niggas
The tables turned as the crosses burned
Remember You Must Learn
About the styles I flip and how wild I get
I go on like a space age rocket ship
You could be a mack, a pimp, hustler or player
But make sure live you is a dope rhyme sayer

Verse 2

This is what you waited all year for
The hardcore, that's what KRS is here for
Big up Grand Wizard Theodore, gettin' ill
If you see then ya saw I'm in your grill with mad skill
MC's can only battle with rhymes that got punchlines
Let's battle to see who headlines
Instead of flow for flow let's go show for show
Toe for toe, yo, you better act like you know
Too many MC's take that word 'emcee' lightly
They can't Move a Crowd, not even slightly
It might be the fact that they express wackness
Let me show ya whose ass is the blackest
I flip a script a little bit, you ride the tip and shit
Too sick to get with it, admit you bit, your style is counterfeit
Now tone it down a bit
My title you will never get, I'm too intelligent
I'll send your family my sentiments, my style is toxic
When I rock and shock and hip hop it unlock your head, I knock it
It split quick from the lyric
Direct hit, perfect fit, you can't get with it

Verse 3

Some MC's don't like the KRS but they must respect him
Cos they know this kid gets all up in they rectum
Slappin' and selectin' em, checkin' em, disrespectin' em
Just deckin' em, deckin' em, deck-in' em
Who in their right mind can mimic a style like mine?
I design rhyme and get mine all the time
MC's standin' on the sidelines, always dissin'
When I roll up and rush their crew they start bitchin'
I don't burn, I don't freeze, yet some MC's
Believe they could tangle with the likes of these
Cross your t's and dot your i's whenever I arrive
Wide, magnified, live like the ocean tide
You dope, you lied, I reside like artefacts
On the wrong side of the tracks, electrified
Comin' around the mountain, you run and hide
Hopin' your defence mechanism can divert my heat-seeking lyricism
As I spark mad iszm
The 1996 lyrical style's what I give 'em

6'2" Werm Kills It During Dunk Contest in Nassau, Bahamas (LOB WINDMILL OVER 6 PEOPLE!)

This new Team Flight Brothers video is awesome on so many levels.  For one, Werm throws down some nasty dunks which I never get sick of watching.  The last dunk where he caught the ball off the bounce and then jumped over 6 people was just straight disgusting.  That's mad hops right there.

However, the best part of the video is the reactions of the crowd.  They absolutely flip out, jump out of their seats and run on the floor after every dunk.  It's hysterical!  Is this the first time they have ever seen someone dunk down there in the Bahamas?  It's like they think this dude is performing voodoo magic right in front of their eyes and they just can't believe it.

My favorite reaction was after the second dunk when that dude in the black shirt and red shorts under the basket just falls to the ground like he fainted or was touched by God and then starts kicking and flailing his legs like a toddler on a temper tantrum.  Unbelievable!  I think this is now my favorite insanely exaggerated overreaction of all time...

Dorrough - "Get Big" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I've been loving this "Get Big" track ever since I heard it a few months ago.  There's something about Dorrough's music that gets me hyped the F*** up.  He's not the best rapper by any means but he's got a cool voice and dope beats and sometimes that's good enough for me.  I'm not looking for every rapper to be the next great lyricist.  Just entertain me with some hot shit once in awhile.

I'm also a big fan of Dorrough's "Ice Cream Paint Job" that was pretty big last year.  It's kind of simple and maybe even a little corny but it just works for me.  That shit is catchy as hell!

Nike Air Max 90 Infrared In Stores Now (FRESH)

Photobucket
I don't know why but the release of the Air Max 90 Infrareds last Wednesday completely flew under the radar for me.  I read it was being released in July months ago but I completely forgot about it until I saw them at Finish Line yesterday.  That bright Infrared color caught my attention from a distance and pulled me in like a big sneaker magnet.

Luckily, there are still plenty sizes available or otherwise I'd be really pissed off right now and flipping out about missing one of the hottest non-Air Jordan releases of the year.  I guess Nike actually had to restock them because many stores sold out when they were released last week but there are more than enough to go around at this point.  You can get them online or offline at most of the major sneaker spots but I would hustle up or they might be gone again very soon.

6'0" Jonsey wins Gus Maker Dunk Contest (TEAM FLIGHT BROTHERS)

It's been awhile since I posted some Team Flight Brothers dunk videos so I thought I'd hit you off with a new one.  I've never seen Jonesy dunk before but the kid has some hops.  Any time you see someone at his height throwing down dunks like that with ease (especially the last one where he jumps over some dude and then windmills!) you have to be impressed.  The fact that he's a little white dude makes it that much better.

He gets extra credit for being able to focus on his dunks while Miley Cyrus "Party in the USA" is blasting in the background.  PAINFUL!  That could possibly be the worst song selection for a dunk contest ever!  That DJ should be ashamed of himself and just retire.  That was some serious weak shit.

Mike Posner - "Cooler Than Me" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Damn.  This song blew up quick, huh?  I heard it on the radio for the first time a few weeks ago and now I feel like I hear it like every hour.  Mike Posner has been on the brink of making it big for the past few years but this song finally pushed him over the top.  Expect to hear more from from him in the near future because he's got some talent.  He's not necessarilly the best singer but he's got a fairly unique sound to his voice that helps him stick out from the rest of the R&B crowd.  He's kind of a raspy version of Justin Timberlake which the ladies will love.

The funny thing is, "Cooler Than Me" has been around for more than a year but it was recently remixed for the radio with this uptempo electro beat.  Here is the original version of "Cooler Than Me" that also features The Brain Trust and Big Sean.  I can't really pick which version I like best because they are both pretty dope.

Posner's song writing ability is solid and his subject matter is defintiely very different from the usual crap you hear on the radio which has made him very popular with the college crowd.  Just take a listen to "Drug Dealer Girl" below.  That's some original shit right there.

If you are just hearing about Mike Posner for the first time, you are probably getting old like me. Luckily, one of my younger friends put me on to his music last year so I don't feel completely out of the loop this time around...

Solemart Paris Recap Video (OLD SCHOOL KICKS)

Solemart Paris went down a few weeks ago but I just stumbled across this video the other day.  There is some dude babbling in French around the 1 minute mark that you may want to skip past but other than that the video is solid.

There are some serious throwback joints in this collection of kicks that bring me back to the good old days like the Ewings (brand name and Adidas version), Dikembe Mutombo's signature Adidas, various Reebok Pumps including cross trainers, tennis and basketball versions, Nike Air Flight Lites and of course some of the original Air Jordans.

My favorite of the whole bunch might be the David Robinson Nike Air Force 180 Pump joints that show up around the 3:45 mark.  They look absurd now because they are the size of a military boot and super clunky but back in the day these were some of the hottest basketball shoes you could buy.  I remember when I saw them for the first time on the feet of my best friend's older brother and I almost lost my mind.  They were so fresh!

Ron Artest Plays in an L.A. Dodgeball Game (COOL)

You might have seen this clip on PTI last night but I thought it was worth a post this morning as well.  I think it's safe to say that Ron Artest will never surprise anyone with anything he ever does at this point in his life.  He is just a different type of dude.  That is for sure.

As much as I should hate Artest because he's a Laker, I find myself liking him more and more all the time.  He might be certifiably insane but there is something about him that seems genuine.  He actually seems like a good guy even though he was considered a thug for so many years.

Most people probably think that this new nice and friendly Artest is just an act to try and fix his image but at this point I don't even think that's what it's all about.  It just seems like he wants to be liked by people and make his fans happy.

When he first moved to L.A. last year, he had an online chat with fans and asked what there was to do for fun in the city.  One fan was bold enough to ask him to come over for dinner and not only did he accept but he actually showed up!  That's pretty damn cool.

On a side note, this might be the biggest collection of nerds I've seen in a long time.  Are dodgeball leagues always filled with this many unathletic toolbags?  If so, I need to get a team together ASAP so I can dominate the shit out of the Boston Dodgeball scene.  It wouldn't even be a contest...

Bruno Mars ft. Cee Lo Green & B.o.B - "The Other Side" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

It took me a few listens of Bruno Mars' new single "The Other Side" to really appreciate the vibe but I'm definitely starting to like it now. To be honest, I think they would have been better off with Cee-Lo starting the first verse since he's a better and more recognized singer but since it's Bruno's song that probably wasn't really an option.

This sounds like it might have been a Gnarls Barkley throw away track since it definitely has that vibe.  I feel like this song could have been a little better with a few slight changes but maybe that's just me.

I'm not sure how Bruno Mars is going to be as a solo artist but for some reason I feel like he is going to just disappear after a few mildly successful songs that don't make it very far on the Top 100 charts.  He seems like he is better suited for singing hooks or being featured like he was on B.o.B.'s "Nothing On You" or Travis McCoy's "Billionaire".  Hopefully he proves me wrong though and comes out with a solid album.  I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong if proven otherwise.

On a side note, it kind of sucks that even though he was able to land two big guest stars in Cee-Lo and B.o.B. he wasn't able to get them to appear in the video.  I don't know if it was a scheduling conflict or label issues but that's just kind of a smack in the face.

Dj Mama The French Bulldog Scratchin' On The Turntable (FUNNY)

I can't get enough of these videos of DJ Greyboy's French Bulldog DJ Mama scratchin' on a turntable.  Shit is hysterical!  I can't tell if she has that look on her face because she is just super confident with her skills or if she is just bored as hell but it's funny either way.

I need to try this with my brother's English Bulldog Boomer.  He'll probably end up eating the record or pissing on the turntable but it's worth the risk for the potentially awesome outcome.

I think this one is actually my favorite because of the complexity of the scratch.  Classic!

T.I. ft. Keri Hilson - "Got Your Back" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

"Got Your Back" is T.I.'s new single off of the King Uncaged album that's set to drop on September 28th.  This is obviously the radio friendly, R&B flavored club hit that we have come to expect as the lead single from each of his past 3 albums.

It's not as good as "Live Your Life" and I don't expect it to be as big of a hit but it's still a decent song.  I'm sure the ladies will like it and that's all that really matters for a single like this.

I'm sure the rest of the album will be a lot harder and satisfy the true T.I. fans.  He's toned down his subject matter quite a bit because of the arrangement he had during his last jail sentence but according to a recent article I read in XXL, it sounds like he is ready to get back to the old T.I. sound. We shall see...

Mayer Hawthorne – “Your Easy Lovin’ Ain’t Pleasin’ Nothin’” (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Nice!  My dude Mayer Hawthorne is back with another smooth track that's perfect for playing poolside this summer.  I guess he thought the same thing because that's exactly what he did for the video.  It was all done in one shot too.  Impressive.

At first I thought the chicks in this video were kind of average but then I took a second look and realized that they were actually pretty cute.  It was the awful old school swimwear that they were wearing that was causing the optical illusion.  Those things are freakin' hideous!  I can't believe dudes had to tell their girls back in the 50's or whenever people wore this garbage that they actually looked good.  Talk about unflattering.  Barf.

I did a post on Mayer Hawthorne back in October 2009 so check that out if you like his style and want to hear a few more songs.  Dude is solid.

That dude who went solo is lucky he didn't break his neck when he bailed.  Shit was funny though.

The board is 36 feet 7 inches long, nearly nine feet wide and weighs 3,800 pounds.  DAMN!

Nike Air Trainer Max 91 Grey/Yellow (FRESH TO DEATH)

Photobucket
I need some of these in my life ASAP!!!  Holy shit these are hot.  I forgot how dope these kicks were back in the day.  I was absolutely in love with this shoe back in '91/'92 but I was never able to get a pair because I was just a freshman in high school and I couldn't afford kicks on my own at that time.
Photobucket
This was the 4th (I believe) shoe of the Bo Jackson line and it's definitely one of the best.  The design in my opinion was way ahead of it's time and still holds up well today.  The grey suede with the bright yellow accents made this shoe stand out from any other at the time and they still look sick.  I will definitely be getting a pair of these when they drop in August.  If you want a pair now, they are already on sale at Premier but it looks like most sizes are already sold out.
Photobucket
Hopefully these sell well this time around and Nike will decide to release a few other colorways.  I was always a fan of the simpler Black/White colorway too.  It's just a great looking shoe no matter what colors are used.

Thursday Throwbacks: Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)"

I can't believe I've gone this long without doing a Thursday Throwback with Pete Rock & C. L. Smooth "They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y.)".  This might be one of the best songs in Hip Hop history.  Actually, I am going to go as far as saying that it's THE BEST Hip Hop/Rap song ever created.  Seriously.

There are other songs in Hip Hop history that have sold more records or may have been more influential for some reason or another but "T.R.O.Y." might be the most timeless track of them all. It's just a perfect song on all levels.  It still doesn't sound dated even though it's been almost 18 years since it was first released and I don't see it getting old any time soon.

It's a true classic that captures the essence of 90's Hip Hop but at the same time brings together the old school sound of funk and soul.  The beat could stand by itself because it is so perfect but C.L. Smooth stepped up to the plate to match his flow and lyrics to such an unbelievable beat.  I'm pretty sure I'm going to feel the same about this song in another 20 years.  Good music stays good forever.

I was digging around on YouTube and found the two samples Pete Rock used to make the beat.  The intro samples "When She Made Me Promise" by The Beginning of the End.  The horn and bass samples used throughout the rest of the song are sampled from Tom Scott's "Today".  Talk about having an ear for good music. How the hell did he find these songs?  Pete Rock is unreal!

Slum Village ft. Colin Munroe - "Faster" (DOPE)

It's nice to see a solid underground group like Slum Village still making dope music after all these years.  Record sales are down across the board and since they never sold a ton of records even at their height of popularity back in the mid 2000's, it would be easy for them to call it a day and try their hand at something other than music.

Luckily, they are still making that dope shit that true Hip Hop heads can appreciate.  Their new track "Faster" is a little more on the commercial side with an R&B twist but it's still got that classic laid back Slum Village sound.  I'll definitely be picking up a copy of their new album Villa Manifesto when it drops on July 27, 2010.

Here are a few of my favorite Slum Village tracks.  If you don't know about them, get familiar and support real Hip Hop.

Chiddy Bang - "Opposite Of Adults" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Chiddy Bang's single "Opposite of Adults" has been around for a few months now but it's just starting to catch fire on the radio.  It was officially released in the US back in April but the video has been around since February.  The YouTube video already has 5+ million views which is pretty impressive for a song that is still fairly new to most listeners.  The song actually caught on quicker in the UK when it was officially released there in February and made it all the way up to #8 on the singles charts.

The craziest part about the song is that it was originally released under the title "Kids" back in April of 2009.  It's interesting to see a song linger around for that long and then finally catch on once enough people hear it.  I guess that goes to prove that good music will eventually be heard by the masses if you have enough patience.

It's cool to see that these dudes (Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege raps and Xaphoon Jones makes the beats) getting some recognition state side with their unique sound that meshes Hip Hop and laid back Rock with samples of bands such as Radiohead and MGMT.  I think they are bringing something new to the table which is great for Hip Hop.  I am addicted to "Opposites of Adults" right now and hope it doesn't get killed by radio play.  I can't get enough of this video either.  You can't go wrong with the big headed style.  They're biting Ludacris' video for "Rollout" a little bit but I will let it slide since their video came out so good:

Chiddy Bang's other song "Truth" is pretty solid too.  I have a feeling we will be hearing a lot more from this duo.  It sounds like their first official album Here We Go will drop in August.

Affion Crockett: Jay-Z ft. John Mayer "LeBron Is Gone" (SPOOF)

This isn't Affion Crockett's best work to date but he definitely gets points for the timely subject matter.  "LeBron Is Gone" is a perfect spoof of LeBron's "Decision" using Jay-Z's "A Star Is Born".  He killed it again with his unreal Jay-Z impersonation but that John Mayer dude was pretty awful.  It was a little over the top but I guess it was still funny enough.

Can Affion get a sketch show of his own already?  Dude is hilarious and he can do a ton of impersonations that would help him target the coveted Hip Hip audience.  It would be like a new remixed version of The Chappelle Show.  I find it hard to believe that he couldn't produce something better than the garbage we see on MTV or BET these days...

Lenny Kravitz' Impromptu Performance with VOP Choir of New Orleans (AWESOME)

Wow! I just got the chills watching this video. How cool is Lenny Kravitz? That was unreal!

Lenny was literally just walking around the streets of New Orleans and heard his song "Fly Away" being performed by the Voice of Praise Choir from First Baptist Church so he decided to go and check it out. After listening in for awhile, he ends up jamming out on the drums and even grabbing the mic for the grand finale.  That was sick!

Imagine being one of those kids in the choir?  That had to be one of the best experiences of their lives so far.  Lenny is the man!

Fat Joe - "If It Ain't About Money" ft. Trey Songz (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I'm not sure how I feel about this new Fat Joe song "If It Ain't About Money".  At first, it's mad annoying, Joe's flow is garbage and the beat is kind of weak and then all of a sudden Joe steps up the energy and Trey Songz comes in on the hook and it's actually a decent song.  WTF just happened?!??!

It feels like two completely different songs mixed together or something.  Shit threw me off.  I think it's growing on me a little bit the more I hear it.  I think this could be a decent single but I don't see it doing big numbers or being around for that long but I could be wrong.  Thoughts?

The Air Jordan VII has to be one of the most underrated styles of the Air Jordan series.  I feel like it doesn't get the respect it deserves for some reason.  I don't know if I feel this way because of the fact that the AJ VII was the first pair of Jordan's I ever owned but it's a shoe that will always be at the top of my list for all time favorites.

I am infatuated with this shoe any time I see it re-released. The messed up part is that I don't actually own a pair currently.  I grew out of my OG's back in high school and have missed out on every retro pair since due to bad timing or not having enough funds to purchase a pair.  I was actually in a store in NYC a few years ago holding a pair in my hand to buy but I had to passed because I ended up buying a pair of the Air Jordan III's in another store just a few hours before.  I am still pissed at myself for not just getting both and dealing with how to pay for them later.  Oh well.

Luckily, I have the chance to get another pair and it's one of the best available. The Jordan 7 Olympic “For the Love of the Game” will release on August 7th at select retailers although I have also seen Fall 2010 as a release date.  Keep an eye out either way.

It will be a quickstrike release so these will be difficult to get but it will be worth the effort if you can secure a pair. Other than the original Black/Red/Purple colorway these are probably my favorite of the VII's since this is what MJ wore during the 92 Summer Olympics while playing for the Dream Team.

The shoe is identical to the original except for the addition of the "For the Love of the Game" Basketball/Heart logo on the side.  I'm hoping to get my hands on a pair of these but I think it's going to be tough.  Hopefully sneakerheads will get caught slipping on a summer weekend.  We'll see.

Kelly Brook Total Film Bikini Photoshoot Video and Bonus Pics (HOT)

Wow.  This Kelly Brook chick is smoking hot!  She is absolutely killing it in this video.  I really have no idea who she is but I'm sure we will be seeing more of her in the very near future.  I guess she is a model and actress from the UK.  All I know is that she's got one of the best racks I've seen in a long time.  God damn!

Rick Ross - "Super High (Sativa Remix)", "B.M.F." & "Sweet Life" (OFFICIAL VIDEOS)

All of these new Rick Ross tracks are pretty hot but I think I'm liking "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" the best.  That's just some hard gangsta shit.  Ross always does well on a song like that.

"Super High Sativa Remix" is pretty solid.  I like that Ross is willing to work with some nice up and coming rappers like Curren$y & Wiz Khalifa.

I was a little disappointed with "Sweet Life" featuring John Legend since the last time they got together they made an awesome song called "Magnificent" from the  Deeper Than Rap album.  That is still one of my favorite R&B infused Hip Hop tracks from the past few years.  John Legend killed it as usual.

Dan LeBatard Rejoices Over the Three Kings Coming to Miami (OUT OF CONTROL)

I apologize in advance for giving you another LeBron related post but I think this one is worth it, I think.  If you haven't heard it yet, ESPN's Dan LeBatard basically had an on air orgasm as he described the scene in Miami with the arrival of LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

LeBa'tard' is usually annoying as hell on PTI with his nerdy and obnoxious style but this shit is pretty funny.  I'm surprised he was able to get away with saying a lot of this stuff without getting censored but then I realized it was for his AM radio show.  A total of 50 people probably heard this live so there was no way anyone was going to complain.

Do people still listen to AM radio by the way?  That shit is painful!  I start getting a brain hemorrhage every time I hear that awful whistling noise.  F that.

Don't forget to listen to Part 2.  He came with the heat one more time!  Classic.

LeBron James' "The Decision" Spoofs (FUNNY)

I didn't watch the ESPY's the other night because they are usually painful but it looks like there was at least one funny segment.  Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd did a great remix of LeBron's "The Decision" special.  It's not even that funny in all reality but for some reason it just works.  They found a way to mimic the cringe worthy awkwardness from the real "Decision" which is not an easy thing to do.

I also found this spoof below which had to have been made by a disgruntled Cleveland Cavaliers fan because this is pretty vicious.  It's still pretty funny though.

Thursday Throwback - LL Cool J "Mama Said Knock You Out"

"Mama Said Knock You Out" is still one of my favorite songs of all time.  It's just straight up fight music.  If you ever need to get fired up for something, this is the song you play to get your blood pumping.  It will wake you right the F*** up!

I almost lost my shit when I saw this video for the first time back in middle school.  It was just ool and different.  I'm pretty sure I had it memorized after the first 5 listens.  I just loved it.  I was already an LL Cool J fan but this took me to the next level.  Other than Run DMC's "Walk This Way" featuring Aerosmith, this was probably one of the first Rap songs to catch the attention of Rock fans as well.  It just has that energy that Rock fans love.

I'm pretty sure LL was the first rapper to appear on MTV Unplugged and he absolutely killed it.   He also opened up the door for others to go on the show and also gave many rappers the idea to use live instruments while on tour.  This performance very well may have given groups like The Roots the idea to create their unique live sound.  It also probably  had a direct influence on the Rock/Rap groups of the late 90's and early 2000's such as Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.  Something just clicked with people this new live Rap sound and it just took on a new life from there.

LL's performance of "Mama Said Knock You Out" might be one of the most memorable performances ever from the MTV series.  It's also well known for him strutting around and sweating with no shirt on and displaying that nasty white caked on deodorant in his armpits.  So nasty!

Dirt Nasty - "Nasty As I Wanna Be" (CATCHY AS HELL)

You can now count me as an official Dirt Nasty fan because I am loving his new track "Nasty As I Wanna Be".  It's catchy as hell and that simple but infectious old school sounding beat was produced by Alchemist.  WOAH!  I did not see that one coming. That's crazy!

The video is funny as shit and was shot entirely from a VHS recorder.  Awesome.  They kept it legit with all of the throwbacks too.  I think I even saw a Nick Swardson cameo as the guy fake jerking it in an old J.R. Rider Minnesota Timberwolves jersey on the side of the road.  So random!

I posted the "Fuck Ed Hardy" video featuring Andy Milanokis that came out around this time last year. You might also recognize his original hit "1980" from a few years ago which somehow has almost 4 million views on YouTube.  I still can't get over the fact that Dirt Nasty is the alter ego of pretty boy Simon Rex.  Dude is way funnier than I would have ever expected.

If Basketball Was Like Soccer (SO TRUE)

Love it! This video just summed up why most Americans can't stand soccer in under a minute.  And they didn't even need to say a word to get the point across.  Perfect.

I will admit that I got into the World Cup a little bit this summer when Team USA made it past the first round but as soon as they lost, I was kind of done with it. I watched the last few games of the tournament too but I just kept getting bored as shit and would decide to watch or do something else. When I came back to it a half hour later, I didn't miss a damn thing. Ridiculous.

The World Cup Final didn't help the cause either. A 0-0 tie with ANOTHER 30 minutes with only 1 goal? That's just straight torture...

Terrell Owens Gets Dunked On At Rucker Park (NASTY)

Ooh wee!  That was pretty nasty!  I wouldn't call it a complete facial since T.O. was only in the vicinity of the rim but of course everyone is going to say he got dunked on so we'll go with that.  You gotta give some props to T.O. for the alley oop he threw down just seconds before this massacre though.  He was probably still thinking about how nice he is and got caught slipping on defense.

I love how a bunch of the people in the stands just started flipping out and ran onto the court like it was the greatest dunk EVER.  That was pretty good but let's take it down a notch, people.  Those type of celebrations should be saved for the first time someone pulls off a real life version of the NBA Jam front flip.  Until then, relax a little bit.
