"I Wanna Gronk" - Rob Gronkowski Tribute Video (FUNNY AND SOLID)

I usually hate videos like this since they are almost always terrible but the production value on this one is actually kind of solid. This is by far the best one out there right now. Anything that gets Pats fans and Gronk fired up for the Super Bowl Sunday works in my book.

Blake Griffin POSTERIZES Kendrick Perkins "DUNK OF THE YEAR" (DAMN!!!)

I caught this out of the corner of my eye this morning while watching SportsCenter but I had no idea how nasty it was until I saw it again on YouTube. WTF!!! How does Blake Griffin keep one upping himself like this? Just when you thought you'd seen it all, he pulls out another trick that shocks the world. RIDICULOUS! I was also on Twitter for a few quick seconds this morning and noticed Kendrick Perkins had either 1) been traded 2) had a season ending injury or 3) died. I didn't realize how close 3) really was since half the people on Twitter were saying ridiculous shit like "R.I.P. to Kendrick Perkins" and shit like that. So wrong but so warranted... Here's another classic B. Griff Beast Mode Dunk from the other day although this one was more about finesse: Here are a few others from the past week:

LeBron Jumps OVER John Lucas On the Alley Oop Dunk (RIDICULOUS)

Good Lord! That was disgusting. This needs a Phantom camera super slow-mo replay ASAP. I can't believe LeBron was not only able to completely jump over John Lucas but he was also able to catch the alley oop and throw it down while getting his head above the rim. This could very well end up being dunk of the year after all is said and done and we will appreciate it more with time. NASTY!

Celtics Beat Magic Again After Being Down 27 Points! (CRAZY COMEBACK)

Wow!  Who saw this one coming?  Actually, the way the game started is exactly how I expected it to go but the ending is what was unexpected.  The C's blew out the Magic on Monday and I assumed the opposite would happen last night down in Orlando.  The game certainly started that way with the C's looking sluggish and going down by 27 points.  I was almost ready to turn the channel for good until they showed some life in the 3rd Quarter.  Then the D woke up in the 4th quarter, shut the Magic down again and everything started rolling.

Pierce was scoring at will and Moore was hitting threes left and right.  Crazy!  I thought Monday night was a fluke but maybe the C's really were just out of shape and needed some time to get their shit together.  I'm heading to the game tonight against the Pacers and I still think there is a chance for a letdown game but it would be nice if they could keep this momentum going.

Here are the highlights from Monday that I forgot to post earlier this week:
I almost forgot to post KG's awesome postgame interview rant with Craig Sager. "Bar Fight!!!"

Blake Griffin's Dunks vs. Lakers; Plus the Fights and Weirdness

RIDICULOUS!  Just when you thought you'd seen every Blake Griffin dunk, he goes and throws down a ridiculous double pump on Bynum.  Nasty!  Here are a few more B. Griff plays from last night:

Along with these highlights, there was also some drama going on during the game last night.  Griffin got in a scuffle with Meta World Peace (aka Ron Artest) and then Pau Gasol started acting like a bitch and trying to mess with Chris Paul.  Instead of coming off tough, he made himself look even douchier than I thought.  He is probably one of the most hate-able players in the league.

Oklahoma State's Markel Brown's Sick Oop Dunk That Got Him Thrown Out (IDIOT REF)

I know that the NCAA implemented the stare-down rule fairly recently but it's still baffling when the call is made.  I really think there needs to be some more leeway from the refs before they call this shit, especially in a key moment of a big game.  Not only does the kid have a right to get a little fired up after a huge play like this but he literally didn't even do anything.  That was the direction he was already looking in.

Is he supposed to turn his head immediately?  WTF!?!?  It's not like he was yelling or screaming at the defender.  On top of that, he also got fouled.  Where's the call on that?  I think he actually had the right to complain about that if he wanted to but that's another story.  Just let them play.  Basketball is an emotional sport.  Let them show it once in awhile.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing more from Markel Brown this year.  Check out this disgusting dunk from the NIT:

Wiz Khalifa Ft. Lola Monroe & Juicy J - "Oh Gee La" (IN STUDIO VIDEO)

DOPE!!!  This is a nice update of The Fugees' "Fu-Gee-La (Ooh-La-La-La)" from back in 1996.  Wiz and company did a nice job of keeping the vibe of the original but giving it a 2011 touch.

I can't believe it's been that freakin' long since that song and the hugely popular The Score first came out. Good lord! I actually listened to that album randomly a few months ago and almost the whole thing still stands up to this day. It was certainly ahead of it's time or maybe it's just timeless. Either way, it's one of the best Group Rap Albums of all time. No question.

Lots-A-Dunks: Blake, D. Jordan, LeBron, Stuckey & Williams (DAMN!)

I don't even know when all of these highlights happened but just assume it was in the past 3 or 4 days.  These are all pretty sick dunks and a few nice passes to go along with them.  Enjoy.

Pacers Mascot Breaks Backboard During Halftime of a High School Game (CLASSIC)

Wow!  This is a gem right here.  It’s pretty cool to see someone break a backboard in person but I would be PISSED if I was on one of the players and couldn’t finish the game because of this joker. I hope the Pacers at least offer to pay for the new backboard and don't make Boomer pay for it because that dude can't be making too much money as the mascot.  It would be a nice PR move for the Pacers too since this video already has over 3 million views and climbing.

It's not Boomer's fault that the high school had a shitty backboard.  Although, I can't imagine he will be allowed to do this at random events anymore because the chances of this happening again are probably pretty high.  Dude needs to stick to the NBA approved hoops only or the Pacers will be racking up some serious expenses on backboard maintenance...

Mac Miller - "Of the Soul" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

This isn't exactly Mac Miller's best shit but I thought it was decent enough to post.  I think some of his lyrics were a little lazy in this one but the overall song is cool.  It's got a nice laid back flow and the beat is dope with that piano loop and bass line.  I wouldn't mind hearing a few other rappers jump on this beat to see what they could do with it.

Pogo - "Jaaam" The Fresh Prince Remix (NASTY)

Incredible!  That's all I can really say about this masterpiece because words don't do it justice.  If you've ever enjoyed The Fresh Prince of Bel Air then you should absolutely love this megamix.  Perfection!

NBA Top 10 Plays from January 18th - Blake, Westbrook, Wall, Ibaka & More

There were lots of sick highlights from the games around the league last night.  Check out the Top 10 above and a second look at some of the best below.

I also forgot to post this insane layup from Blake Griffin earlier in the week.  Look how freakin' high his head was above the rim?!?!?  It's too bad he couldn't have dunked that because it would have been one of the greatest 'and 1' dunks of all time.

Yelawolf ft. Kid Rock - "Let's Roll" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

At first, this seems like a weird combo but once you think about it, I think it actually makes a lot of sense. Some people don't realize that Kid Rock actually started off as a rapper so he definitely has respect for the genre even though he's more of a rock/country singer these days.  Yelawolf has that same kind of rock/rap mentality and even looks a little like Kid Rock or at least has a similar style so it all makes sense once you bring it all together.  Definitely a cool collabo.

Anyway, I'm feeling this track and love Yelawolf's Radioactive album.  If you haven't checked that out yet, I suggest you give it a listen and pick it up.  Yelawolf is doing big things and is going to be around for awhile now that he's got the backing of Eminem and Shady Records.

Lots-A-Dunks: Vince, Blake and Chandler Parsons?!?! (DEEZ NUTS)

I always thought Chandler Parsons would be a solid NBA player while at Florida because of his size and shooting ability but I forgot that he also has some athleticism and hops which he proved with this nasty put back all up in Javale McGee's face.  I love that he got one of the most annoying and arrogant players in the league in an embarrassing "Deez Nuts" situation all up in his grill.  The Rockets officially have the two most athletic white guys in the NBA with Parsons and Chase Buddinger.

This Blake Griffin dunk is pretty nice but I think it's getting a lot of attention because he posterized the man everyone loves to hate lately in Kris Humphries.  I know a lot of ladies were loving this one.

Lastly, here is a nice hammer dunk from Vince Carter that showed hints of his former self known as Vinsanity.  Even though this was a solid dunk for most people, you can just tell Carter has lost his ups and he was struggling a little bit to get to the whole on this one.  I think if he lost some weight and got in better shape, he'd get some of his hops back but he might just be too old at this point. It was fun while it lasted...

Ray Allen's "MLK" Air Jordan 12 PE (DOPE)

Although the C's ended up losing to the Thunder last night, it was still a good game and much closer than I expected.  The Celtics also paid a nice tribute and thanks to Kendrick Perkins on the JumboTron coming out of a timeout in which he waived to the crowd and he got a standing ovation.  It was very cool to see in person and it might have gotten a little dusty in the Garden for a few seconds.

After the nice intro for Perkins, the first thing I noticed from up in the balcony was the kicks on Ray Allen's feet.  He was rocking a never before seen Black and Gold PE colorway of the Air Jordan 12 for MLK Day.  I feel like these pictures don't do them justice because they looked better in person, even from a distance.  They were basically glowing on his feet as he ran around.  So dope!

Heat vs. Clippers Highlights - Blake & LeBron Dunk Show (SICK)

Here is the sick alley oop you'll be seeing all week on SportsCenter because this thing is nasty.  Blake took off from deep on the baseline and just sort of glided to the hoop even though it didn't look like he would reach the hoop.  Sick!

Here's another one on the break from Billups.

LeBron got into the act too.  It looks even better in slow motion.  Dude got up for that one!

NBA Top 10 for January 10th - Plus the Two Jokers Sitting on the Mavs Bench in Detroit (WTF?)

Before I give you the highlights from last night, take a look at the video of these two clowns in Detroit sitting on the Mavs bench.  The whole situation is confusing and almost seems like it's a joke.  These dudes are dressed like douchebags and they seem to be acting like DB's too.  Vince Carter got pushed down and is looking around like "Is this shit for real?!?!?"  How the hell did they get these seats and is this a normal occurrence in Detroit?  I need answers.

And here are the highlights from last night, including a nice dunk from Brandon Wright, a solid oop from Wade to LeBron and nice reverse off the oop by Kobe.

Rick Ross Ft. Wale & Meek Mill - "Bag Of Money" (NOT BAD)

I feel like Rick Ross and Maybach Music Group are kind of like the Black Eyed Peas of Hip Hop.  All of their songs are starting to sound the same but I don't seem to mind and listen anyway.  I guess it's not always a bad thing because at least I know what to expect and won't be thrown for a loop with anything too crazy but it would be nice if they mixed it up a little bit in the near future.  I think 'decent' is the best way to describe this one.  Not too bad.  Not too good.

Blake Griffin & Kevin Love: Jenga Stack Champs Commercial (STYLE POINTS!)

The only reason why I've seen this commercial is because it ran during a cartoon my son was watching the other day.  I don't know why they wouldn't run this spot on other more adult focused channels because not only is it pretty funny and a cool concept but it actually makes me want to play Jenga!  On top of that, drunken Jenga is fun as shit so they should really try and target the 21-35 set that would consider buying the game for that purpose alone. They are missing out on a huge market!

NBA Top 10 Plays of the Week; Plus Rubio & Wall

Lots of good stuff in here.  Below are two more nice plays from the weekend including Ricky Rubio to Derrick Williams for a nice long alley oop and John Wall throwing down with authority on the drive.

Phantom Camera Highlights of CP3; Plus More Blake Griffin Dunks from the Weekend

Just sit back and enjoy these highlights from Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and the rest of the Clippers.  I've been waiting for some more dope Phantom highlights since everything almost always looks better in slow motion.

Blake also tour the rim down as usual over the weekend.  Once again, this will never get old.  BEAST MODE!

T.I. Feat. Dr. Dre - 'Popped Off' (DOPE)

This is a hot track right here.  Dre and T.I. both stepped their game up on this one which is nice to hear.  The only down side is that this just makes me get more annoyed about the Detox album that may or may not ever see the light of day.

Dre is probably sitting on about 50 hit songs that may never get released which is super annoying since there is so much garbage out there these days.  The game needs a refresher and he's the perfect one to do it.  I hope he doesn't wait too long so that some of the songs and lyrics don't be come irrelevant or outdated.

Alley-Oop of the Year? Fernandez No Look Over the Head Oop to Faried (SICK)

This might not be dunk of the year on it's own but when you factor in the crazy pass from Rudy Fernandez, it at least has to be considered for alley-oop of the year.   This was on some And1 shit!  He didn't even look back.  He just knew that Faried was there and he can pretty much go up and get anything so he was probably safe to let it go.  Very nasty!

Blake Griffin Dunks & Tyga's "Lob City" Remix of "Rack City"

Nothing much to say here other than the usual.  Blake Griffin is a monster.  Full Beast Mode at all times.  I can't get enough of his dunks.  I think I might end up posting a BG dunk every other day with this condensed schedule and the addition of CP3 throwing lobs all day like it ain't no thang.

Speaking of lobs, Tyga already remixed his hit "Rack City" for the Clippers dunk show and called it "Lob City".  Makes sense.  Perfect fit.
