LeBron's Samsung Galaxy Note II Commercial (ANNOYING)

Just when I was starting to come around on LeBron and starting to like him again, he goes and makes a ridiculous commercial like this and takes it all back. I thought he had finally matured and didn't make everything all about him after finally winning a championship and maturing on and off the court but this commercial just ruined everything.

We get it.  You won a championship, LeBron.  Hooray for you.  Everyone give him a trophy for winning the trophy.  Blah.  If you watched the Celtics/Heat game last night then you saw this and similar commercials approximately 45 times each.  Ridiculous.

Anyway, I found a way to flip it and make it post worthy because of the soundtrack.  Samsung used the classic "Keep on Pushing" bt The Impressions.  Here is the full song:

I immediately thought of Bun B's "Pushin'" which uses this as a sample.  It's one of my favorite Bun B songs and possibly one of my favorite Hip Hop tracks from the past 5+ years.  It doesn't get much better than this:

Terrell Owens Vs Mani Love! "The Smallest Streetballer" (SICK HANDLE)

This is a super random video but it was entertaining enough to get posted.  I never heard of Mani Love until now but I am officially a big fan of the little man.  Dude has a sick handle and is quick as f#%$!  You might be able to block his shot easier in theory because he's so short but it's never going to happen if you can't catch him.  He also keeps the ball so low to the ground that there is no way in hell you are going to steal the ball either.  He made T.O. look dumb a few times there too.  Nice!

Thomas Robinson Putback Dunk "Over" Dwight Howard - Kings @ Lakers

Thomas Robinson has better hops than I thought.  That was a NASTY putback dunk over Dwight Howard in last night's preseason game.  I don't care if Dwight wasn't really looking or trying that hard to get the board but he was still in the vicinity so that counts.  Learn how to box out, Dwight!

Barack Obama vs Mitt Romney: Epic Rap Battles Of History Season 2 (SOLID)

This is way better than I was expecting.  Well played...

Inside Stephen Jackson's Sneaker Closet (BOXES FULL OF J's)

So this is what it's like to be a Jordan Brand athlete?  DAMN!  I am jealous as shit.  That is just nasty.  Stephen Jackson's closest is nicely stocked and just when you think he's done, you get a look at the rest of his collection in the basement which is just out of control.

How awesome would it be to have Jordan send you multiple boxes of J's all at the same time and way before their release date?  Heat for days!  I guess the closest I'll ever get to this is being part of the Jordan Brand team is with my player in NBA 2K13.  Oh well...

Jeremy Evans Owns Ronny Turiaf On Both Ends (BLOCK, DUNK, TIP)

First off, I had no idea Jeremy Evans won the Slam Dunk Contest last year but it makes a little more sense after seeing this awesome display of athleticism on both the defensive and offensive ends of the floor. Dude got INSANELY high on that block of Ronny Turiaf but instead of giving up there, he went and got the rock and then posterized Turiaf on the other end with a sick dunk.  He didn't stop there though, as he ran down the other end of the court and tipped a pass. That's hustle right there. Impressive.

Lupe Fiasco Recalls His Extraterrestrial Experience (INTERESTING)

It's cool to hear someone in Hip Hop admitting to a UFO experience.  I feel like most of those dudes are too afraid to admit shit like this because they are afraid it will make them look soft or people will think they are crazy.  Lupe put it out there in a calm way and you definitely want to believe him because of that.  Why would he make this up?  I guess it would be to get some publicity but I don't think he really needs it.  It's definitely interestingt.

Glen "Big Baby" Davis Release Rap Song Called "Gon' Turn It Up (AWFUL)

I’m so glad the Celtics got rid of this clown last year.  I used to talk myself into liking him since he was on the team and he showed flashes of being a great player but he was just too much of a headcase to last long term.  He thought he was better than he really was and he wanted the ball and to start on a Championship team where he hadn't earned that right yet.  After he punched a bathroom stall and broke his hand right before the season started two years ago, I officially had enough.

There is no way this was a joke on his part and he probably thinks it sounds awesome. It's like a bad version of Flo Rida, T-Pain and David Guetta all mixed into one.  I've heard worse from athletes but this is right up there with worst athlete decisions of all time.  Dude is delusional.

STONE COLD E.T. at White Castle (SUPER RANDOM BUT FUNNY)

This makes absolutely no sense but it's funny as hell.

Insane Dodge Ball Kill (KUNG FU MADNESS)

I might be a little late to the game on this video since it's been floating around for the past week or so but it's worth a post because it is an insane move.  I would never normally get too excited about a Dodgeball play but this one was too crazy to ignore.  Whoever filmed it did a horrible job of editing since the first minute or so was a waste of time but it actually worked because of the dramatic ending.  I almost bailed early but I'm glad I stayed in there because it was worth it.  That was some Neo from the Matrix type shit!  Crazy!

Mr. Green "Live from the Streets" featuring Janice and Jus Allah (CRAZY)

I've known about Mr. Green and his magical beats for a little while now but I never knew about his "Live from the Streets" YouTube series until someone put me on to it earlier this week.  It's definitely one of the more creative things I've seen in regards to production and beat making in a long time.  Mr. Green walks around the city looking for unique sounds and inspirations and he ends up with an amazing finished product.  The concept isn't new since producers have been doing this since the beginning of Hip Hop but seeing it happen in "real time" makes it coll as shit.

The two vids I liked the most were the one above with singer Janice and Jus Allah and this one here with Chiller Theater and Young Zee. This dude is mad talented and I can't wait to watch more of his videos and listen to more of his songs.

Jason Terry Learns the Boston Accent (AMUSING)

This could have been funnier if everyone interviewed hadn't fallen back on the cliche "Pahk the Cah in Hahvahd Yahd" but I still like Jason Terry's energy, personality and willingness to mingle with the Boston people and learn our awful accent.  It reminds me of two years ago when Shaq was out and about in Harvard Square acting like a statue or just walking around making friends with random people.

Jason Terry seems like a good dude and I think he is going to be one of the fan favorites instantly this year.  I'm loving his logo on his Reebok tee too.  I need one of those!

I can't believe the NBA season is already here.  The Celtics play their first exhibition game tonight in Turkey as part of a multi-game European tour.  Sweet!

Lil Wayne Owns Lawyer During Legal Deposition (FUNNY)

Lil Wayne might have acted like a complete asshole during this deposition but he was still pretty damn funny.  The lawyer was definitely asking some dumb questions so I can understand why Weezy was getting annoyed.

Snoop Dogg "Interviews" Action Bronson (FUNNY ISH)

This is one of the best Hip Hop interviews I've seen in a long time.  Random but entertaining.  Snoop asks some solid questions and Action Bronson gave some awesome answers.  I had no idea that Action Bronson has only been seriously rapping for about a year and he was also a cook or some shit before.  Dude is nuts but I like him...

I would love to hear these two make a track together.  I'm not sure how it would sound but sometimes the craziest and most random collabos make the best music.

Downhill Skateboarder Collides with Deer at 40 MPH (OUCH)

This is super random but I thought it was worth posting up because it was a crazy video.  The dude who hit the deer is lucky it wasn't a bigger one with those crazy sharp antlers or his ass could have gotten impaled or straight up chopped off.  Crazy!
