Jay-Z Named Executive Producer of NBA 2K13 (NICE!)

NBA 2K13 already sounds like it's stacking up to be one of my favorite games of all time and I barely know a thing about it other than from what's in this video. All I know is that it's got my favorite rapper, Jay-Z, I'm assuming there will be a heavy feature of my favorite basketball player, Michael Jordan based on what they've done the past few years and I'm sure the gameplay and graphics will be even better than 2K12 even though it's almost impossible to improve on that. What I'm trying to say in my babbling is that I'm really looking forward to this damn game!

Just to fill you in with a few more details, Jay-Z has been tapped to be the Executive Producer for NBA 2K13. Jay-Z will oversee the soundtrack and I'm sure it will have a ton of his own music, sprinkled with other Rocafella and Def Jam artists and maybe a few others. I'm sure he won't have to do much real work and they are really just using his name as a way to help with sales but I can't blame him or EA Sports for agreeing to it. I'm sure it will help sell more games which is the main goal. I'm looking forward to hearing more...

Katt Williams - "Poor Little Tink Tink" (OLYMPICS COMEDY)

I'm not going to do an Olympic preview or anything like that since I only know about the USA Men's Basketball team and a few Track & Field events but I thought the timing was right for this classic Katt Williams clip.

A few years ago, Oscar Pistorius was just some dude that was competing in running events as a double amputee but now he will be competing in the London Olympics. That's pretty impressive and an awesome story but that doesn't mean that this skit isn't funny as hell.

I'd love to see an update from Katt after the Olympics but that dude has gone off the deep end lately and disappeared from the mainstream. Maybe "Tink Tink" in the Olympics will give him some new material and get him going again.

Zedd - 'Spectrum' A-Trak & Clockwork Remix (DOPE)

I guess Zedd's 'Spectrum' has been blowing up over the past few weeks but I hadn't even heard the original until yesterday when I saw the link to this remix in A-Trak's newsletter. This remix is DOPE and the original is pretty sick too. Everything I hear from A-Trak these days is quality. Here's the original:

NBA Summer League Dunks from Christian Eyenga & Damian Lillard (BEAST MODE)

There were a couple of nice dunks from the NBA Summer League last night. The first was this ridiculous facial from the Lakers' Christian Eyenga. He also had another one later in the game that was pretty solid as well. Damian Lillard of the Blazers also had his own nasty facial on the Hawks when he went hard to the hoop in traffic. Sick!

Is Michelle Jenneke the Hottest Hurdler Ever? (SMOKESHOW!)

Shake it, baby! This is the first time I've ever seen 19-year-old Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke but I think I am already one of her biggest fans. I love hot athletic chicks and if you dance and jump up and down before the race and shake what ya momma gave you, even better. Ain't nothing wrong with that at all. This video is of Jenneke at the IAAF World Championships in Barcelona. She won't be at the Olympics this year, unfortunately but I'm sure we will be seeing more of her real soon. Love her!

Sick Dunk from Ben Wallace Pro-Am League (RIDICULOUS)

Wow! That was insane! I wasn't even sure how the ball got to the rim ate first until I realized he bounced it first, went around the defender and then caught it on the other side for a nasty 180 dunk. This craziness came from Guard Angelo Sharpless of Division II Elizabeth City State University during the Ben Wallace Summer Pro-Am game in Richmond this past weekend. RIDICULOUS!!!

Toyota Corolla Commercial: Shoes with Pandora (NICE)

I just saw this commercial for the first time last night. Definitely right up my alley. That is exactly what I do every morning when I'm trying to match up my kicks to my outfit. Gotta stay fresh! The old lady at the end really pulled it all together too. Great commercial...

Fabolous "Swag Champ 24/7" Official Video (FUNNY ISH)

Fabo kills it in this video for "Swag Champ 24/7". It's a combination of some sick metaphors in the song, along with some extra color commentary along the way by Fabo and his "Swag Coach". It's mostly tongue in cheek but you can tell that Fabo believes a lot of what he's saying at the same time. My favorite parts were his 'makin' it rain' training techniques, as well as what he does when the money calls...literally. He also had a killer line using my man Rondo as the subject: "I hate to see y'all bend backwards, Rondo, elbow." It sounds ridiculously simple but once you take a step back and think about the double meaning, you'll realize it's a killer line. Damn! This is some dirty shit right here. La Coka Nostra is a perfect fit for this dope Premo beat. These guys need to just do an album together already because they are a perfect mix.
