Nike Presents 1LOVE: The Bronx & Cory Gunz (PLUS BONUS CLIPS)

Honestly, I have no idea what's going on here.  I'm not even sure why I'm posting this since it barely has anything to do with Nike or anything of relevance but I decided to post some shit about Cory Gunz because of it.  Does that even make any sense?

Anyway, Cory Gunz has been floating around the rap game for a little while now but he's getting ready to blow up real soon.  If you didn't know, he's signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records and he is also the son of rapper Peter Gunz (see today's Thursday Throwbacks post).

Cory Gunz doesn't have any major singles out yet but he does have a few mixtapes to his name including Heir To The Throne: Gangsta Grillz(with DJ Drama) and ADEN AKA SIX: Son of a Gun mixtape(with DJ Drama).

I first heard this dude spit on the original version of Lil Wayne's "A Milli".  His verse was removed and replaced by another Wayne verse for the album version and single but based on all of the different rappers I've heard spit on this track over the years, he definitely has one of the best:

The kid definitely has potential.  He showed me some things during his "On Da Spot Freestyle" on DJ Green Lantern's radio show.  He's got lyrics and metaphors for days, that's for sure.  If he can figure out how to ride the beat a little better and perfect his flow, he is going to be something special.
