Allen Iverson's Emotional Press Conference After Signing with 76ers (DAMN)

Some people might make fun of Iverson crying and getting emotional at his press conference yesterday but I'm going to go the opposite way and say that this is some real shit. A.I. obviously cares a great deal about his image but also about the game of basketball. You don't cry over something you don't love and he is going to give it 110% when he is on that floor.   He is back where he belongs and he really should have never left in the first place.  I have no doubt in my mind that he still has a bunch of good years left in the tank and he will definitely make the 76ers a better team.

I think he realizes that his actions lately have really hurt his legacy but have also given people the opinion that he doesn't care about anything but himself. I dont' think that's necessarily true although he does have an big ego that got him into this mess in the first place. He needs to realize that he's not at the top of his game anymore but he can still contribute better than a lot of people still in the league so he needs to show he can be a good teammate and play maker and not just a scorer. I think that has finally sunk in and he's ready to take on the next chapter in his career.

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how he plays in his return to Philadelphia on Monday. He will definitely get people in the seats and make a lot of people in Philly happy to see him return after leaving on negative terms the first time. I have tickets to the Celtics vs. Sixers game on December 18th in Boston. I thought this would be a boring and lackluster game but now I can't wait to go. It's funny how quickly things can change. Good luck Iverson! You might be on the "enemies" squad but I'm still rooting for you! - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets
