Download MP3's from YouTube Videos with MP3ify.com (COOL)

As strange as it may sound, YouTube has become one of the best places to find new music on the internet.  Any time I have been looking for a new song that I heard on the radio or someone told me about, I can almost always find it immediately on YouTube.  It's cool to be able to listen to those tracks when you are near a computer but it's frustrating when you want to download the song immediately for your iPod and you can't find it in iTunes or any other music sites.

I came across a new site that provides a solution to this problem.  MP3ify.com allows you to search for a song, artist or even direct YouTube URL.  Once you find what you are looking for you can either listen to the song in a small video window that pops up at the top of the screen or you can hit the "MP3ify!" button to create an MP3 download that can be used in iTunes, an iPod or any other MP3 player.

Since the song library is only limited by the songs available on YouTube, you should have no problem finding what you need.  I would recommend playing the song first though, just to make sure the audio actually plays and the quality is decent.  It's not the same as buying a song from iTunes in terms of quality but it can hold you over until the song is available for purchase at a later date.

It doesn't seem extremely legal but it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to use it.  If you are willing to take that risk then head over to MP3ify.com and get started.
