Kanye West "Heartless" - Newest Track From 808s and Heartbreak

This is the latest track to be "released" from Kanye West's new album, 808s and Heartbreak.  As I mentioned previously, Yeezy seems like he is obsessed with the Auto Tune/Vocoder sound lately.  I'm not so sure that is a good thing though since that sound is super played out and is finally making it's way out of Hip Hop.  At least that is what I keep praying for everyday. 

I do like this track though since it's mostly singing on the hook and an actual attempt at rappin' again, although it's still a sing songy rap style almost like Nelly or something.  It's definitely different.  The beat is sick with the deep 808 bass and the choppy piano chords and it's making my head nod, so that's a good thing.  Although it will be a little more from leftfield with a pop and rock influence, I am definitely looking forward to the new album. 

Not many artists are pushing the boundaries in Hip Hop so it's refreshing to hear someone as big as Kanye trying something new, regardless of how it effects his record sales or opinions of his fan base.  People don't always like change but if the music is good enough, they will get over it.  I guarantee that if the record sells, all of the dick riders and bandwagon jumpers will say they were down with Kanye's new style since day 1, even though they will be the same people that are talking shit about it right now.  Just read the comments of the video and you'll see what I mean.
