Celtics First Preseason Game - Bill Walker Smashes a Sick Dunk In Ratliff's Grill

The Celtics lost their first preseason game to the Sixers last night at the Mullins Arena at UMASS but they still looked sharp and excessively fired up for a meaningless game.  The starters played limited minutes but were on point for the most part and we got a decent look at some of the new guys trying to make the roster.

I'm just happy that the season is officially underway and opening night is just around the corner.  It feels like last season just ended which is kind of true since the Finals are in June.  I was conditioned to dealing with the season being over in April/May when the C's sucked for so many years so I'm not used to this feeling of a quick turnaround from one season to the next but I like it.

I actually got a little giddy this morning when I saw the SportsCenter highlights of rookie Bill Walker posterizing Theo Ratliff on a monster baseline dunk.  Check out the first video for the best quality replay of the dunk and watch the second video for the benches reaction.  KG's head almost exploded and everyone on the bench started an impromtu mush pit to celebrate the flush.  If KG and the rest of the team is getting this fired up already, I think we can safely say that they are going to be motivated this season for Banner #18!  Back to back, bitches!!!
