I knew it would take some time and a few new colorways to change my mind but I am defintiely starting to like the Air Jordan 2009 a little bit more these days. The new Black/White/Varsity Red colorway as seen above is looking sharp. I wasn't a huge fan of the
all black version that premiered a few weeks ago but the addition of the white V-Stripe on the side looks nice.
As I mentioned previously, the
original White/Black colorway was kind of boring and a little cheap looking but I could actually see myself
purchasing this black colorway. I'm not too excited about the
$189 price tag but these are defintiely supposed to be a performance shoe and not a collector's item.
I read some reviews online and everyone that bought them for hoops said they were the most comfortable shoe they had ever worn on the court. I just got an email from
FinishLine.com that said these go on sale tonight at midnight but it looks like you can order them now. I think they may have officially dropped on April 4th or it's possible that some vendors decided to release them a little early. If you are looking for a dope high-tech and super comfortable shoe to ball in then the Air Jordan 2009 might be the way to go.
