I came across this new Western Hospitality Mixtape when I was visiting ThaBizness.com. They put up a video of how to make a beat on the iPhone with a new app/program called BeatMaker. It looks unreal and I want it bad. I will post that up in a second.
I'm not sure if you've heard of this dude Glasses Malone but he is starting to grow on me. He is one of the hosts of this mixtapes and is featured in a good portion of the tracks. When I first heard the Glasses track "Certified", I thought it was The Game using an alternative persona since it sounded just like him with the same inflections and rhyme patterns but a slightly different voice. It turns out he was part of Black Wall Street Records which was Game's own record label.
That made a little more sense, considering that many rappers in crews tend to sound like each other over time when they do songs and perform together. I think I like him because he sounds like The Game, which is kind of like saying that G-Malone is unoriginal but it is what is. I think the dude is solid, regardless.
