Nike Zoom Tennis Trainer & Nike Air Trainer 1

Chlorophyl? More like Borophyl. Thank you, thank you. Please hold your applause. I'll be here all week.

Honestly though, I do like these kicks quite a bit. The official name is the Nike Air Trainer 1 Mid Premium Chlorophyll 2008. Get it now? Throw me a freakin' bone. It's Monday morning and my smarmy humor is at an all time minimum. I suck.

Above is the original style of the Nike Air Trainer worn by players such as John McEnroe back in the early 90's. I believe Agassi might have even worn these before he got his own signature shoe but I could be making that up.

Below is the Nike Zoom Tennis Trainer (White / Black - Cool Grey - Green Spark), which obviously takes much of its style from the OG Air Trainer. I definitely like the looks of both and would rock them both on and off the tennis court.

I'm a big fan of the forefoot velcro strap. I think it gives the shoe a tougher look and it might even serve an actual purpose for lateral movement. I need a pair of real tennis shoes instead of wearing my Adidas shell toes and these might just be the pair I get to help me kick some ass on the hard court. Both are currently available online and in select Nike retail locations but good luck finding a pair. They were sold out at the shops I checked online.
