WEEK 6 NFL
My name is Deano Fox and I have balls big enough to carry around in a dump truck and I pick Winners...Except for this past weekend we bombed the moon and handed out Nobel Peace prizes like Chiclets.
I say this because the Pats rolled over like my favorite dog scratchin' his balls to blow a fouth quarter lead and lose in Overtime. I had a great view of the overtime. I'm not sure if any of you've ever held two shot glasses up to your eyes like binoculars but believe me “ I can see clearly now the pain is gone”. I am serious. 7 bourbons, one fox and 12 beers always puts things in perspective. Anytime I take a bad beating like that I believe you have to come big and hard or go home the next week.
So this week we are going full tilt with 5 games. That’s right! 5 lock ‘em and load ‘em games to get the adrenaline rush we need and to get our pockets fat so we can be shopping in Times Square by next Wednesday. Dr. Martin Luther King had a dream and I had a flash forward so on to this week’s games and to money for all my Den.
I want to start by saying there is no time like the present to “Press the Limit”. So we start with Race 5 today at Philadelphia Park with a horse called Press the limit.
Now on to our 5 team bananza or as I say, full tilt parlay. We start with tonight’s Cinderella BCS team in college Football; undefeated Boise State. I remember 3 yrs ago saying "who dat"???? Well "who dat" is a 9 point favorites over Tulsa who is 4-1 and their wins were against teams who could have been in a battle with your local Pop Warner and YMCA football squads. The game is TONIGHT and the parlay is just beginning to rock and roll.
We follow that game up with another college team that is going to win the rest of their regular season games and end up in a BCS bowl game as well; the Virginia Tech Hokies. 3 pt favorites over G-Tech Yellow Jackets who are coming off a big win against Florida State. This game is a Four Star Fox Lock as VA Tech is clicking on all cylinders. Just ask their last opponents BC,who didn’t want to come back out after halftime.
The 3rd game of our parlay is a Take the Points game. Take the pts., put on your Irish Hats, gloves, shirts etc and sing with me: “ Here is to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish always willing and able. Now smash the Trojans of USC and all glasses off the table.” Or for us, just don`t lose by more than 10 pts. The confidence and momentum the Irish come into this game at home with they can definitely win this game at home and the 10pts are just a bonus.
Game 4, we are not backing down from the Big game of the battle of unbeatens. The New York Giants getting 3 pts against the Saints in New Orleans. This Giants offensive line and RB`s are going to run all day long on the Saints. The control the ball offense will keep the Saints explosive offense off the field and Eli very rarely makes mistakes. Take the 3 pts and go with the better team at this time of the year, the BIG BLUE WRECKING CREW. I wonder if Frank Sinatra ever had a song like that???
Lets finish this parlay off with the a Sunday Night game on National TV. Da Bears coming off a buy week at the Falcons. The Bears are healthy and can score at will (can`t believe I can say that now). Take Da Bears and the Pts but don`t be surprised if they win by 10.
This $50 parlay pays $1483, so lets ride into the sunset with money in our pockets and smiles ear to ear. Feel Free to leave your comments and your picks for week 6.
