Deuce Poppi - "My White Friends" (NOT BAD)

I was expecting to hate Deuce Poppi's new single "My White Friends" but I have to admit it's not that bad at all.  I actually kind of like it!  I thought it would be kind of corny since it seems like he is just trying to capitalize on all of the white suburban Hip Hop fans but somehow the video and the song just works without sounding too forced.

Deuce Poppi kind of sounds like a poor man's Gucci Mane which isn't exactly a compliment but since Gucci has been so huge lately, maybe it's not a bad thing after all.  Deuce is also kind of bitin' off of Gucci a little bit  in terms of making a song that's pro-white folks. Gucci's new track "Wasted" talks about getting smashed with the white boys but maybe it's just a coincidence.  Who knows. 

Are the melanin challenged actually starting to get some respect in Hip Hop?  Eh, doubtful.  But at least we are starting to get some shout outs after years of getting dissed and being the butt of the joke!  It's about f'n time, suckas!!!
