Celtics Beat Sixers on Ray Allen 3 Point Buzzer Beater
Yeah baby! The C's are back at it! They have quietly been rolling over the rest of the league with a 12 game win streak over the past few weeks. They are probably playing their best basketball of the season right now. Yes, that would be better than when they had the 19 game win streak and 27-2 start to the season. Don't forget that KG didn't even play last night. The second team has been stepping up huge, especially with the play of Big Baby Davis.
The end of last night's game was one of the better of the season. The Sixers seemed to have this game put away but the Celtics wouldn't quit, just as we have seen them do all season long. There was a lot of back and forth and then Andre Iguodala hit a huge shot with a about 7 seconds left and the Sixers thought they had sealed the deal. But Pierce made a nice move to the hoop and drew the defense allowing Ray Allen to get wide open in the corner and hit a HUMUNGOUS three pointer to go up 1 with .5 seconds left. Of course, the C's pulled out the win 100-99. Unbelievable! I can't get over how many times Allen has done this with the C's this season and last. The dude is just straight cash money!
