"Get Spiziked!" - Become Mars Blackmon from the Air Jordan Ads ( SPIZ'IKE PROMOTION)

Now that there is a new crop of Air Jordan Spiz'ike's hitting stores, Jordan Brand has decided to create a new iPhone App and micro-site to help promote them. The White/Fire Red/Black/Military Blue colorway released on 1/9/10 and is currently still in stores while the Black/Varsity Red-Cement Grey-Military Blue colorway drops on 2/20/10.  I think I might need to cop both of these.  FIRE!!!


It's safe to say that Jordan Brand didn't really need to spread the word with a viral app since everyone that loves Air Jordans is more than familiar with the Spiz'ikes but it's always cool when they put out something new to mess around with and allow you to interact with the brand.

The "Become Mars" microsite and iPhone App are pretty simple but it's still fun to mess around with for a few minutes. All you do is upload your photo and morph it onto Mars Blackmon's body and then download it or share it on Facebook, Twitter, etc.  It's a little difficult to get the picture to line up, especially with those big ass glasses Mars wore but what are you gonna do. This is still the closest I'll ever get to being the sidekick for my main man Michael Jordan so I'll take it.
