Complex.com's Top 10 Sneakers of 2009

You might not agree with Complex.com's Top 10 Sneakers of 2009 but that is part of the fun in creating a "Best Of" list. It gets people to discuss and argue things that have no real answer. Here's what Complex decided on:

1) Nike Air Max LeBron VII
2) Nike x Patta Air Max 1
3) Air Jordan XI "Space Jam"
4) Air Jordan III "True Blue"
5) Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary "Bringback"
6) Nike Foamposite "Eggplant"
7) CLOT x Nike Air Force 1 Low
8) Converse x UNDFTD "Poor Man's Weapon"
9) Nike SB Bruin
10) Nike Air Yeezy

I think the list itself had a good majority of the best releases in 2009 but I wouldn't necessarily agree with the order. I think the Air Yeezy should at least be in the Top 5 and the Air Jordan XI Space Jam should probably be number 1 or 2.  I will give them the benefit of the doubt with picking the Air Max LeBron VII as the top sneaker for 2009 though because it was a new shoe and not a retro and it's definitely one of the hottest basketball shoes to come out in a long time.
