Raphael Saadiq - "Radio" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I couldn't find any new Hip Hop/Rap videos that were worth posting up so I thought I would take it in a different direction for the musical selection of the day with some new but old school sounding R&B from my man, Raphael Saadiq with his new single "Radio".

His last album was very similar to this old but new sound that reminds you of the Motown days.  It's definitely completely different from anything else I've heard in the R&B genre these days and it's something that people from a variety of generations can get down with.  It might not be for everyone but if you give it a chance, you'll probably like it.

If you never heard his last album The Way I See It, I suggest you give it a shot.  It was one of the most critically acclaimed albums of 2008 and was also one of the best, at least in my opinion.  It caught me by surprise but I was happy I stumbled upon it.  Instant classic.
