Jamie Foxx ft. T-Pain - "Blame It" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I can't get this damn song out of my head!!! "Blame it on the a a a a a alcohol"... That's not a bad thing though. Catchiness is half the battle for a hit single and this one is on it's way up the charts.

I wasn't too sure about this new Jamie Foxx album at first listen but it has definitely grown on me. "Blame It" caught my ear right away and kind of pissed me off because of the use of the vocoder. If you've read some of my other posts, you know I despise it's usage and hope it dies a quick death. I will let it slide in this instance because it actually sounds good with Jamie's voice. T-Pain is the king of the Vocoder/Auto-Tune sound, so at least he knows how to use it and make it sound good. I think T-Pain got all crunked up for this video shoot too. Dude was poppin' and lockin' and shit! Classic.

Above is the official video produced by Hype Williams and although it's nothing groundbreaking, it's fun and entertaining. It kind of reminded me of a scene out of Belly or something so you know he wasn't trying too hard with this one. The whole concept of the song is fairly simple so I guess there is only so much you can do. Check it:

Blame it on the Goose
Got you feeling loose
Blame it on Patron
Got you in the zone

Blame it on the a a a a a alcohol
Blame it on the a a a a a alcohol

Blame it on the vodka
Blame it on the Henny
Blame it on the blue top
Got you feeling dizzy

Blame it on the a a a a a alcohol
Blame it on the a a a a a a alchohol

Jamie is ballin' in the club and hittin' on the ladies. Whatever happens next ain't his fault. Just blame it on the alcohol. Ha ha. We've all been there before my man. I feel you!

This could be the new theme song for a lot of players on their way home on the "Walk of Shame" the next morning when they realized they hooked up with a Strobelight Honey from the dark ass club last night!

Be on the lookout for all of the remixes if you haven't heard them yet. I've been seeing them pop up in all of the DJ Record Pools. It's a little out of control. I've seen three different versions featuring Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, Yung Joc and Freeway. DAMN!
