Rondo's Block on Fisher in Super Slow Motion & Thoughts for Game 3 (C'S WIN)

I don't think you need anything else other than that video to get fired up for Game 3 of the NBA Finals tonight.  That was pure PWNAGE by Rondo on Fisher in super slow motion.  Love it!

I fully expect the Celtics to win tonight by about 8-10 points based on the fact that this will be the first game of the series in Boston and the team and fan base is riding high off of the Game 2 win in LA.  I guarantee the crowd is going to be loud as shit as soon as the C's hit their first shot and I expect the "No Means No" and "Beat LA" chants to start early.  I guarantee Rondo will be getting some MVP chants as well.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to question how close the game will be based on the officiating crew for tonight's game.  It's possible this one will be much closer than it should be because of the potential for awful calls from these clowns.  The crew is made up of Dan Crawford, Bill Kennedy and Bennett Salvatore.

Salvatore is a notoriously awful ref who was criticized by Phil Jackson earlier this season for basically sucking at his job.  Bill Kennedy started shit with Doc Rivers during a game in Chicago and seems to have a personal vendetta against the Celtics. I totally forgot about this incident until one of my buddies pointed it out this morning:

“(Kennedy) stood there and goaded me and goaded me and goaded me and stared at me,” Rivers said. “Look at the film. I actually walked away. He asked me, ‘Where do you want the ball?’ And I said, ‘Ask them,’ talking about our players. That’s my right to say that, and I walked away. He stood there and stared me down and stared me down and goaded me until I turned around and said, ‘What?’ That’s when I got thrown out of the game.”

"Bostoncoach Doc Rivers has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for criticizing a referee earlier in the week.  Rivers was penalized Thursday. He was irate following the Celtics' 127-121 loss at Chicago on Tuesday night, after he got whistled for his second technical foul in the final minute. That led to an automatic ejection and a rant against referee Bill Kennedy.

After John Salmons' basket gave the Bulls a 124-119 lead with 29.8 seconds left, the Celtics called a timeout and then Rivers got tossed.  The league also fined referee Kennedy an undisclosed amount."

"An NBA source pointed out before the game that two of the referees were Chicago natives (Bill Kennedy and Dan Crawford). Kennedy also was involved in an incident with Rivers during the Bulls' St. Patrick's Day win in which both were fined by the league for jawing. The source also said that after the game family members of both referees departed wearing Bulls gear."

Good times.  This one should be interesting, to say the least.
