Michael Jordan Statue Switches from Reebok to Nike Skates (RANDOM)

So I guess the Michael Jordan statue outside of Chicago's United Center has been sporting a Blackhawks jersey over the past few weeks to help support the Blackhawks journey toward the Stanley Cup. Unfortunately, some dumbass put Reebok skates on the bottom of MJ's feet even though he is sporting the bronze version of the Nike Air Jordan IX.  I thought even most hockey fans were smart enough to realize that MJ only rocks Nike.

Luckily some fan stepped their game up and changed the logo over to Nike.  I'm sure MJ and his statue are happy once again.

Speaking of the Air Jordan IX, the official release date has been set for the original White/Black-Varsity Red colorway.  I will definitely be copping a pair of these when they drop on August 7th, 2010..  These are definitely one of the most underrated Air Jordan's of the entire collection.  So dope!
