Mark Ronson f/ Q-Tip & MNDR - ‘Bang Bang Bang’ Official Video (DOPENESS)

'Bang Bang Bang' is the first single off of Mark Ronson's new album Record Collection that drops in September.  This shit is hot!  I love that Q-Tip jumped on this one.  He always sounds dope over a beat that's a little more uptempo and not quite Hip Hop.  I think this could be one of those summer time songs that stays under the mainstream radar but ends up becoming part of your regular soundtrack for the beach and house parties and shit.  This is definitely a head nodder.

Ronson always brings the heat with an eclectic style of funk, soul, rock, Hip Hop and even a little 80's which creates a very unique and upbeat sound.  I didn't pay much attention to his last album Version because it was made up of Rock covers so it wasn't really up my alley.  His first album Here Comes the Fuzz was very Hip Hop heavy and had some great special guest appearances from Q-Tip, M.O.P., Sean Paul, Nappy Roots and Anthony Hamilton to name a few.  Unfortunately, no one in the US knew who the hell he was so the album didn't sell very well.

He did have a minor hit with the song 'Ooh Wee' featuring Ghostface Killah, Nate Dogg & Trife.  If you were paying any attention to Hip Hop in 2003, you probably heard this at least a few times in a bar or club.  I definitely played the shit out of it for a few months during my sets.  It was an instant booty shaker for the ladies:
