Celtics Steal Game 2 in LA; Ray Allen Goes Off for Record 8 Three Pointers (MONEY)
Sick game last night! I had the "pleasure" to watch the game with a Lakers fan and it was so satisfying to see him squirm, bitch and complain as the C's pulled away for the Game 2 win. It was actually kind of interesting seeing a fan from the opposing team freak out about the shitty calls since that's usually me.
Maybe it's because I had his point of view to take into consideration but it definitely seemed like the Lakers got screwed with a bunch of terrible calls. There were a ton of awful calls all around but the Celtics definitely benefited from a few at key points in the game. I don't care how it happened, as long as they won.
I can't believe how on fire Ray Allen was during that game. He was on some NBA Jam "He's on FIRE!" type shit. 7 threes in the first half and 8 for the game!?!? WTF? That's not even human!
If he wasn't hitting those shots, the C's probably would have lost the game although Rondo was doing his best to carry the team on his back. Dude ended up with a triple double of 19 Points, 12 Rebounds and 10 Assists. DAMN!!! He also had this sick move which took Andrew Bynum out of his jock.
If you were a big man, wouldn't you just assume Rondo was going to do this move? I don't understand how people have not picked up on this move or the fake behind the back move that always shakes someone and makes them look dumb. Love that move...
I guarantee the roof will be ready to pop off the Garden tomorrow night. I'm lucky enough to have tickets and I guarantee I will not have a voice on Wednesday. I don't think the Lakers are ready for this madness back in Boston. Expect to hear lots of "NO MEANS NO!" chants towards Kobe and the obvious "BEAT L.A.!". I don't see how the C's lose this game. Even if they play like garbage, the energy level is going to be too high for them to let the Lakers steal one on their home court. My prediction is that the Celtics win by 8 in Game 3. LET'S GO CELTICS!!! CLAP, CLAP, CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!!!
