Lakers Beat Celtics in Game 1 (WEAK SHOWING BY C's)

Meh.  I have to admit that I was kind of expecting this in Game 1.  I thought the Celtics would have a little more energy after a week off but I assumed the Lakers would be fired up for Game 1 at home like most teams would be.  The C's looked really flat and slow at times and they were getting out hustled on almost every possessions. 

I can't even count how many times the C's made a decent defensive stop and then let the Lakers get the offensive rebound or loose ball for a second possession that turned into a score.  Gasol had 8 freakin' offensive rebounds and he didn't even move half the time.  It just fell in his hands.  KG needs to be more physical and actually BOX HIM OUT instead of trying to out jump Gasol.  It's not like Gasol is some crazy athlete but right now he is making KG look like an old man as he did earlier in the season.  That's not a good sign.

The Celtics were just slapping at the ball and letting it slide out of their hands like they were drunk or something.  It was so f'n frustrating.  Just grab the damn ball!!!  These two missed LAYUPS in a row by Garnett sums up the whole night.  Why the hell did he not dunk this?!?!?

I think the Celtics are going to come out with a lot more energy on Sunday night and make it a much better game.  In a weird way, this game showed us that the C's should be able to hang with the Lakers.  Considering how badly they played all game, they were only down between 5 and 9 points for about 85% of the game until they mailed it in at the end.  If they actually play with some intensity and hit some more open shots and free throws, there is no reason why they can't beat this team 4 separate times to win the series.  Let's just hope they step it up soon.
