Dr. Dre Loves Boston - Takes In a Celtics and Sox Game On Easter Sunday (BATTING PRACTICE AT FENWAY)
Awww shit! Dr. Dre is officially down with Boston. As if we needed any other reason to prove why this is the best city on earth...
Dre was all over the place on Easter Sunday. He was at the Celtics/Cavs game at 1 PM and then he headed over to Fenway to catch the Sox season opener against the Yankees while chilling with LeBron in the Sox guest suite.
He even found time to grab some batting practice before the game while wearing his custom Red Sox Jersey with #808 which is an obvious shout out to his favorite beat making tool the Roland TR-808 drum machine.
The blatant pimping of the Beats By Dre headphones was a little shameless but who cares. Dre is the shit and I'll let it slide. If those Red Sox branded headphones are ever actually released, I will be buying them immediately. Those are dope!
Jimmy Iovine and Dre also confirmed the new single "Under Pressure" featuring Jay-Z which I assume is off of the much anticipated Detox album but they never actually confirmed that so who f'n knows. The only thing I could find online to prove this song actually exists was this 12 second snippet below. Thanks guys. This album better drop sometime soon or I am going to lose my damn mind.
UPDATE: I guess I didn't do my research because the Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ Studio Red Sox High-Definition Headphones From Monster® are already available for purchase. The $399.95 price tag is very high but I can almost guarantee they are one of the best headphones you will ever listen to based on all of the other Beats by Dre headphone models I've sampled. These things pound!
