Kid CuDi ft. Kanye West and Common - "Make Her Say" Official Video (I POKE HER FACE)
Here's the official video for Kid Cudi's new single "Make Her Say (I Poke Her Face)" featuring Kanye West and Common. The chorus comes from an acoustic version of Lady Gaga's monster hit "Poker Face" (see below).
This is definitely a hot track and you should expect to hear it in massive roation on radio and TV in the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure how they worked it out with Lady Gaga and how she is getting paid for the sample but it was a nice move on Kid Cudi's part to jack her style. He is going to capitalize off of the success of "Poker Face" while it's still fairly popular (although radio killed it about 2-3 months ago) and gain some Lady Gaga fans in the process.
By featuring Kanye West and Common, he will also be bringing in some new fans, although there is probably a lot of duplication there. "Day N Night" put him on the map and "Make Her Say" is going to push him to that next level. Good ish.
