Free Ballin' - The Jim Jones & Tom Petty Mash Up (CATCHY)
This is a nice little mash-up of Jim Jones' "We Fly High (aka Ballin'!)" and Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'". I didn't know what to expect but I think the track is definitely on point. The best part was by far the chorus which uses the Tom Petty vocals and Jim Jones' famous "BALLIN'!!!! line. If you're scoring at home that equals "Free Ballin'" which is by far the best name for a mash up that I've ever seen. Definite bonus points for making me think this song was going to be about the very rarely used but very enjoyable art of "free ballin".
I've come across a lot of dope mash up videos lately so I think I am going to start a new series called "Mash It Up" or something catchy like that. I'm still working on the final title so if you have any ideas, let me know in the comments. I'm eventually going to make a Dj RyB Mash Up Mix in the near future so you might be finding a lot of these joints in there.
