Thursday Throwbacks: George Kranz - "Din Daa Daa"

This is one of the crazier throwback joints I've ever featured considering this isn't really Rap or R&B.  I think it's worth posting though since George Kranz' "Din Daa Daa" had such a big influence on Hip Hop and the Breakin' scene.

You will probably recognize this song even if you have never actually heard it because it has been sampled numerous times over the past 20 years or so.  The most popular samples include the huge hit "Pump Up The Volume" by M|A|R|R|S,  "Praise Joint Remix" by Kirk Franklin and the most blatant rip off, "Shake" by The Ying Yang Twins.

By the way, is it just me or does Kirk Franklin sound like a slightly less crazy and more religious version of Mystikal?
