LeBron's Crazy Over the Backboard Shot (SICK)

As annoying as he's been with his dancing and whining this season, LeBron has also been impressing me with some of his incredible performances and crazy shots like this one above. That was a legit fade away post move as if he planned on doing that the entire time. Unreal! Kobe also had a great one earlier this year and I think he might have been fouled too:

You can't forget about two of the classic over the backboard shots by Jordan and Larry Bird either:

Which one is the best?  MJ was my man but Larry always had some of the craziest trick shots. I can't decide!

Best Fails of 2009 (EPIC)

Now that's what I'm talking about! I knew something was missing from the "Top 10 Fails of 2009" post from a few weeks ago. This compilation of Best Fails of 2009 is WAY better!

Although almost all of these had me laughing, my favorites were the black guy on the out of control scooter, the dude on a BMX doing a trick onto a homeless guys head and the fruity guy that gave a sick roundhouse kick to the "robber" running in the mall. CLASSIC!

"You Play To Win The Game" - Inside the NFL Mixtape (DJ STEVE PORTER)

This new NFL Remix video by DJ Steve Porter is blazing up the YouTube charts today. Who would have thought that clips of classic NFL press conferences would make a sick Hip Hop Remix with the help of a little Auto-Tune?

I received this link from about 5 different people already so I wouldn't be surprised if you've already seen this by now. I think it's safe to say this is getting some crazy views because everyone is all fired up for the NFL Playoffs this weekend. It doesn't hurt that the "song" is kind of dope too!

DJ Steve Porter is on his freakin' game lately. He has a bunch of other classics on YouTube with a few million views each! My favoriteis the Katt Williams Weed Remix. He somehow took one of the funniest stand up clips of all time and made it even better. UNREAL!

Hip Hop Violinist Plays Clipse "Popular Demand" & Trey Songz "Say Ahh" (COOL)

This dude is pretty nice on the violin. I love it when people can mix in real instruments with Hip Hop and make it sound hot.  That is why The Roots are one of my favorite groups.  They show people that Hip Hop can be musical and it actually does take some talent.

This dude isn't the first to ever use the violin but he definitely puts his own touch on these two songs.  I like how he came with Clipse "Popular Demand" first and then gave the ladies a little something with Trey Songz "Say Ahh".  I think the violin sounded a little better with the R&B track because it makes the most sense in the song arrangement but both sounded good.

The "original" and by far the best Hip Hop Violinist is Miri Ben Ari. This chick is a badass on the strings and she's actually kind of cute too. She's been a little under the radar over the past few years but she was really killing the Hip Hop and R&B scene in the first half of the 2000's and was at her peak around 2003-2005.

Miri Ben Ari released her own Hip Hop album in 2005 called The Hip Hop Violinist.  Even though it fell under the radar for some reason, it's still one of my favorite albums from that time.  She had a ton of great guest appearances from Hip Hop and R&B heavyweights like Kanye West, John Legend, Fabolous, Lil Wayne and Akon.  If you've never heard any of the songs or don't own the whole album, I suggest you pick that up as soon as possible.  You will not be disappointed.

Heavy Metal Baby (BAD ASS)

Kick ass dude! This baby ROCKS!!! You gotta love the fist pump and headbanging while chomping on a skull pacifier. I think it's safe to say that this little guy is going to be beating the crap out his Kindergarten class after the other kids refuses to mosh with him while he blasts Sepultura or Pantera on his baby boombox.  Any kid that can start to fall asleep while listening to Death Metal is not going to be phased by a damn thing while growing up. Awesome!

DJ Premier x Nike Air Force 1 (SICK)

I was listening to DJ Tony Touch on Shade 45 (Sirius|XM) the other night and DJ Premier called in to shoot the shit. Toca asked him about his new custom Air Force 1's that are dropping in January. Premier admitted that he's not a huge sneakerhead but appreciated what sneakers have meant to the Hip Hop game so he was honored when Nike asked him to put together his own shoe.

If he actually put together this shoe on his own, this dude is a genius in more than just music production. These joints are HOT! I'm sure he had some help but either way, these are one of the best custom Air Force 1's I have seen in a long time.  Check out the icy outsole with the turntables as well as the DJ Premier stamped aglets and dubrae.  It sounds like these are going to be a very limited run but I need to try and get a pair.  They drop this Saturday, January 9, 2010.  So TIGHT!!!

Rondo's Alley Oop With .6 Seconds Helps Celtics Beat Heat in OT (UNREAL)

The Celtics were in Miami last night and what seemed like just another regular season game ended up being one of the best games of the season. I had no idea what to expect from the Celtics since Garnett was out indefinitely and Pierce and Rondo were questionable.  Luckily, Pierce and Rondo both played and ended up being involved in the biggest play of the game.

With the game tied and about 3 seconds left, Dwyane Wade stole the ball (foul?) from Ray Allen at half court and then went in for the dunk with .6 seconds remaining on the clock.  Like everyone else, I assumed the game was over but luckily (and unexpectedly) Doc put together a perfect out of bounds play.  Pierce threw up a great alley oop for Rondo right in front of the rim and he was able to catch it and lay it in to take the game into Overtime.  UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The Heat must have been devastated because the Celtics closed out the game fairly easily and ended up winning by 6 with a final score of 112-106.  Hopefully the C's can get everyone back healthy in the next couple of weeks and we can look back to this game as the start to another nice winning streak.
