Tom Green Freestyles with Flava Flav, Xzibit & Blackalicious and He's Actually Decent? (Head Explodes)

Woah!  WTF is this?  It was like the Hip Hop and Comedy Gods converged at the exact same moment to give me some of the greatest and most random material ever!

Me and a buddy at work were discussing Tom Green for some reason and we were reminiscing about some of the crazy ish he used to do on The Tom Green Show back in the day.  Although he is completely out of his mind, some of the stuff he did was pretty funny if you were in the right frame of mind (aka high as hell).  I brought up the fact that he is still doing his show but online only at his site TomGreen.com.  The show is actually still pretty good so check it out when you get the chance if you like his "interesting" brand of humor.

After browsing the videos for a few minutes, I cam across some absolutely astonishing footage of Tom Green kickin' it with Flava Flav, Xzibit and Blackalicious!  I had no idea he was such a Hip Hop fan and I definitely had no idea he actually had some freestyle skills!  Some of this footage is just unreal!  He does a fantastic Chuck D impersonation during an impromptu karaoke of "Bring The Noise" with Flav.  Other than a few minor mess ups on the flow and timing of the rap, he actually sounds a lot like Chuck D with the inflection in his voice.  Not bad.

The next video was filmed a few years ago with underground artist Blackalicious.  Although Tom seems a little off in this performance, he still does a decent freestyle.  You can tell it was legit because he was repeating himself quite a bit but it was still a valiant effort.  Freestyling is not easy and doing it on TV must be even more difficult.  Mad props on the effort.  Blackalicious does his thing as always and has a few nice flows in there off the top of the dome.  It's nice to see a rapper rip the mic without using pre-existing rhymes.

I think this last clip is by far the best of the three.  Either TG was using written rhymes or he was just in the zone while rappin' with Xzibit.  If this were a straight up battle, I think you would have to say that Tom Green won, as crazy as that sounds!  Xzibit sounded like he was using written rhymes and even looked a little shook at one point because he knew TG was killing him.  I never thought I would see the day where I was admitting that Tom Green owned a real rapper in a freestyle battle!  Wow.
