Here's the dope new video for Slaughterhouse's "Microphone" off of the Slaughterhouse album. Royce Da 5'9 and Joe Budden spit my favorite verses but Joell Ortiz and Crooked I weren't very far behind. They all murdered the track with lyrical precision. So nasty.
This might be the best track on the album but the entire thing is FIRE so go get that ASAP if you don't already have it in your collection. It's definitely one of the best Hip Hop/Rap albums of the year. Nothing but the REAL ISH!

Some people might make fun of Iverson crying and getting emotional at his press conference yesterday but I'm going to go the opposite way and say that this is some real shit. A.I. obviously cares a great deal about his image but also about the game of basketball. You don't cry over something you don't love and he is going to give it 110% when he is on that floor. He is back where he belongs and he really should have never left in the first place. I have no doubt in my mind that he still has a bunch of good years left in the tank and he will definitely make the 76ers a better team.
I think he realizes that his actions lately have really hurt his legacy but have also given people the opinion that he doesn't care about anything but himself. I dont' think that's necessarily true although he does have an big ego that got him into this mess in the first place. He needs to realize that he's not at the top of his game anymore but he can still contribute better than a lot of people still in the league so he needs to show he can be a good teammate and play maker and not just a scorer. I think that has finally sunk in and he's ready to take on the next chapter in his career.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how he plays in his return to Philadelphia on Monday. He will definitely get people in the seats and make a lot of people in Philly happy to see him return after leaving on negative terms the first time. I have tickets to the Celtics vs. Sixers game on December 18th in Boston. I thought this would be a boring and lackluster game but now I can't wait to go. It's funny how quickly things can change. Good luck Iverson! You might be on the "enemies" squad but I'm still rooting for you!

I posted about the Air Jordan XII a few weeks ago but I just wanted to give you all the heads up that the Air Jordan XII Retro "Flu Game" & "Rising Sun" are currently in stores and still very available, just in case you haven't been to a mall recently. You never know how well Jordan Retros will sell these days so it's nice to actually see them on the store shelves once in awhile. Both would make a great gift for your favorite basketball player, Jordan freak or sneakerhead.
I got a first hand look at both and I was very tempted to buy them right there on the spot but I didn't exactly have $300 burning a hole in my pocket. The black and red "Flu Game" joints are very nice. Jordan fans are about 50/50 on whether or not they actually like the new version of this classic, however. The upper consists of Nubuck as opposed to the original black leather which is causing some people to pass on the purchase but I have to admit it looks nice up close.
It's not an exact retro of the original which some people were hoping for but I think it's better than not having it at all. They look good to me and I don't think there is anything wrong with doing a slight remix. It will help people who own the OG's keep their value which is always nice.
Jordan Brand added a logo on the side to commemorate the year (1997) and points (38) Jordan scored on the Utah Jazz in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals while playing with the flu. They also added a sick looking smiley face which is kind of funny and annoying at the same time.
I'm not going to break down the Air Jordan XII "Rising Sun" since I already did it here but I figured I would hit you off with a few more pics.
It's nice to be able to walk into a store and actually by a pair of general release Air Jordan's for once. It sucks that a lot of people are going to have them but at least you don't have to stand outside the store waiting for them to open like you do with some Retros. Once in awhile it's nice just to get the shoes you want without the extra effort or cost.
You can pick up both now for $150 at your local sneaker retailer or check out the online retail spots like Finish Line. It looks like all sizes are still available so there is still plenty in stock.

I missed this ridiculous dunk from LeBron against the Pistons from last week but I'm glad I finally stumbled upon it. This is definitely one of LeBron's sickest in game dunks that I've ever seen! Dude took off from well inside the circle which was one big step in front of the free throw line and then proceeded to jump through three Pistons, get fouled and double pump while still throwing it down with authority. That was just plain NASTY!!!

And it begins!!! The Tiger Woods Spoofs and Parodies are in full effect! I am really proud of the internet today. Not only have computer nerds put out super relevant Tiger Woods games, videos and remixes in a timely manner but they are almost all funny as hell and of high quality. It truly amazes me how fast things happen these days. Both the Tiger Woods Outrun Game from Break.com and The Tiger Woods Voicemail Slow Jam Remix made my freakin' day.

I’ve seen this gag done before during a baseball game(at a Mets game I think?) but this one was even better because it was during an awful Knicks game earlier this season.
Honestly, what else would you do at MSG since watching the actual game is a complete waste of time? The Knicks freakin' suck! I sent this around to a couple of friends that are Knicks fans and all they could say was "Just wait until 2010, man! We're getting LeBron." Um, no you're not. He'd have to be a complete idiot to come to one of the worst teams in the league and waste the prime years of his career rebuilding with this awful team of scrap. Keep dreaming, bitches.
