Big Boi - "Shutterbugg" Official Video (DOPE)

Dope song.  Dope video.  Seriously.  I don't know what else to say. Big Boi brought the heat on this one.   "Shutterbug" is off of Big Boi's new awesomely named album Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty that is set to drop on July 6th

My sneaker spotting skills were on point for this one too.  You can barely see it at first glance but somehow I caught a pic of Big Boi rockin' the Air Jordan VI Black/Varsity Red.  Nice!

Kanye West - "Power" - 1st Single from Good Ass Job (FIRE!)

Damn this shit is hot!!!  Just so you know, the video above containing Kanye West's new single "Power" is a sped up and sounds a little like the chipmunks but it's the best I could find. UMG has been deleting vids of the song almost as fast as people can post them up so this was a strategy to get around that. This version might last a little longer than the rest but don't hold your breath.

If you want to hear the proper version of the song, head over to  This is probably one of Kanye's best songs in years so it's worth giving it a full listen.  He's back to rapping with a purpose which is huge but the beat is also a monster.  It has hints of his production style from The College Dropout and Late Registration with the hand clapping and infectious drums but it also reflects his newer style at the same time.

I expect this one to be bumped hard all summer long and the new album Good Ass Job will be nasty if he drops a few more gems like this one.  Be on the lookout for the new album in September.

I’m livin’ in the 21st century
Doin’ something mean to it
Do it better than anybody you ever seen do it
Screams from the ’80s, got a nice ring to it
I guess every superhero need his own theme music

No one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power
(21st century schizoid man)

The system broken, the schools closed, the prisons open
We ain’t got nothin’ to lose, ma’fucka, we rollin’
Huh? Ma’fucka, we rollin’
With some light-skinned girls and some Kelly Rowlands
In this white man world, we the ones chosen
So goodnight, cruel world, I see you in the mornin’
Huh? I see you in the mornin’
This is way too much, I need a moment

No one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power
‘Til then, fuck that, the world’s ours

And then they (Go)
And then they

Fuck SNL and the whole cast
Tell ‘em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass
More specifically, they can kiss my asshole
I’m an asshole? You niggas got jokes
You short-minded niggas’ thoughts is Napoleon
My furs is Mongolian, my ice brought the goalies in
Now I embody every characteristic of the egotistic
He know, he so, fuckin’ gifted
I just needed time alone, with my own thoughts
Got treasures in my mind, but couldn’t open up my own vault
My childlike creativity, purity and honesty
Is honestly being prodded by these grown thoughts
Reality is catchin’ up with me
Takin’ my inner child, I’m fighting for it, custody
With these responsibilities that they entrusted me
As I look down at my dia-mond-encrusted piece

Nigga, no one man should have all that power
The clock’s tickin’, I just count the hours
Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power

Holy, powers, Austin, Powers
Lost in translation with a whole fuckin’ nation
They say I was the obamanation of Obama’s nation
Well, that’s a pretty bad way to start the conversation
At the end of day, goddammit, I’m killin’ this shit
I know damn well y’all feelin’ this shit
I don’t need yo’ pussy, bitch, I’m on my own dick
I ain’t gotta power trip, who you goin’ home with?
How ‘Ye doin’? I’m survivin’
I was drinkin’ earlier, now I’m drivin’
Where the bad bitches, huh? Where ya hidin’?

Reggie Watts - "Out of Control" and "It's Over" - Songs Created by Beatboxing with a Loop Pedal (DOPE)

My boy Anonimus put me on to this character Reggie Watts earlier today.  He's a little crazy looking and kind of out there but he has some serious skills! I posted a video of another dude using a loop pedal to create a full song which was cool but I feel like Reggie Watts takes it to the next level.

I guess this guy is a comedian and also does the music thing on the side and a little bit in his act. His video for "Fuck Shit Stack" is pretty funny. Check it:

5'8 Phil Pressey's Sick Dunk Over 6'8 Defender (BASS IN YA FACE)

DIZAMN!!! Little man Phil Pressey has some hops, huh?!?!  That big guy he just destroyed on that dunk should be ashamed of himself.

Pressey did catapult himself off of the 6'8" dude just a little bit but we will let that slide since it looked so damn good.  It was still a nasty dunk no matter how you look at it.  It looked like he was going up with all intentions to throw it down so I have to think he was going to flush it, even without the boost. Very nasty... - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

50 Cent Loses 50+ Pounds for New Movie Role (DAMN!!!)

Woah!  50 Cent looks like the freakin Crypt Keeper after losing all that weight!  I can't believe this is the same dude!  Look at the size of his forehead too!  Holy shit!
Fifty lost 54 pounds for a movie he wrote and stars in called "Things Fall Apart," in which Fif plays a football player diagnosed with cancer.  He went from 214 to 160 pounds and lost six inches from his waste.  He put together a 9 week "training session" in which he switched to a liquid diet and walked for three hours a day on a treadmill.  I can't believe that something that simple helped him lose all that weight and muscle.

Supposedly he is already back to eating and working out normally as he gets ready to go back on tour.  It will be interesting to see if he gets all of that muscle back though.  I have to imagine it's going to take awhile unless he does a cycle of roids or something...

UPDATE:  I didn't even pick up on this until my boy DC pointed it out but WTF happened to 50's tattoos?  I thought I had heard he was getting some removed on his arms because of all the movie roles he's been getting but I didn't think he had already done it.  It looks like he got rid of ALL OF THEM.  Wow.

In a recent interview, 50 said "It cuts down on the amount of time I have to spend in makeup covering them up."  I guess he is going all in on this acting thing now that no one seems to be taking him serious in the rap game.  I guess you gotta do what you gotta do...

Magic Beat Celtics to Force a Game 6 in Boston (THIS SUCKS)

WTF Celitcs?  Get your shit together and close out this series already.  I thought there was a possibility they might lose one game but now the series is at 3-2 and the Magic actually think they have a chance to win this thing.  F*ck!!!

This series has had it's fair share of poor officiating and Game 5 was no different.  Kendrick Perkins got kicked out of the game on some bullshit when he got his second technical on a very suspect personal foul call.  The first technical was almost as big of a joke but Perk does complain on almost every single call, so I assume he was bitching again so I will let that one slide.  He obviously needs to get his mind right and not overreact like that but the refs also need to know who has technical fouls and give those guys a little more rope.  Perk barely said anything while walking away and still got T'd up.  Not cool.  Now there is the potential of him being out for Game 6 because of the ejection.  Hopefully the NBA smartens up and rescinds at least one of the technicals so he can play.  If they don't, there is seriously something shady going on.

Some other weird shit that happened was the TWO concussions suffered by Glen Davis and Marquis Daniels.  Big Baby looked like he got knocked out by a Mike Tyson uppercut after getting hit with a flying elbow from Dwight Howard.  Daniels' concussion was a little stranger since he didn't get hit as hard but of course, Howard was also involved with this one as well.

I wouldn't say he's a dirty player yet but it is a little interesting that Howard has been involved with so many violent plays in just this series alone.  Don't forget about his unnecessary molestation of Pierce (Game 2, I think?).  Howard was also involved in pulling back Pierce's right arm last night which contributed to the stinger that had him hurting for a few minutes.

On top of all that, Rasheed Wallace who played a good game and had 21 points while filling in for Perk, left the bench with a back strain after he fouled out.  What the hell is going on here?  There is the potential for 4 Celtics (3 of them big men) to be out for Game 6.  Jesus.  That means not only will Brian Scalabrine have to play but he will also need to play big minutes.  That is never a good thing.  At least Sheldon Williams will get some more PT which I think he deserves but I wouldn't exactly say he's the best matchup for Dwight Howard.  Yikes.

Hopefully Wallace is all set and Perk doesn't get suspended.  Otherwise, Game 6 on Friday could be really ugly.  Close this shit out already C's!  I can't take this shit. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Unanswered LOST Questions from (INTERESTING)

As I said the other day, I'm not going to try and do a recap of the LOST Finale or the series as a whole because there is just too much going on and I'm still trying to put it all together.  I was happy with how they wrapped up the series but there are a lot of LOST nerds out there that are pissed that they didn't answer every single question.  Relax people.  It's not that serious.

I did find an article on some random blog that does a pretty good job of summarizing the finale. Check it out when you have a few minutes:

I'm still not going to do a recap, but this video above got me thinking.  In my opinion, you're an ass if you think they were going to answer everything because they would need another 3-5 seasons just to make sense of all of the questions that are still lingering.  I think a lot of these things were made up a long the way and the writers didn't know how to connect them in the end so they just left them hang out there and now it is working to their benefit because people will continue to talk about LOST even when it's long gone.

Also, most of the answers to these questions don't really help the story evolve much because they just weren't that important or it was more interesting to let the viewers make up their own opinions.  I think this strategy will help keep LOST popular for years to come just like a good movie that has a ton of questions in the end.  Think Donnie Darko and other crazy movies that make you think.  Do you like the movie any less because you were a little confused at the end?  Hell no!  That shit was awesome!

The writers of LOST always said they knew how they would end the series but they didn't know exactly how they were going to get there past the first pilot episode.  That should tell you right there that at some point they were just throwing stuff against the wall and seeing what sticks.   You can't be mad at them if you were still entertained.  Isn't that the whole point?

A few things that possibly prove they made things up as they went were the following. Supposedly, Mr. Eko (aka Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) was supposed to be in the series for much longer but he asked to be written off because of a desire to return home to London after the passing of his parents. I heard a rumor that he actually had off screen conflicts with Locke (aka Terry O'Quinn) and wanted to be killed off because of it.  He also passed on showing up in the finale which sounds like he was still holding a grudge and/or there actually was something to that story.  He played a really big role in the first few seasons so it would have made sense for him to show up in the church.  I don't know if that's true but take it for what it's worth.

Another "fact" that I found interesting was in regards to Ben who originally appeared as Henry Gale.  The LOST writers only had him scheduled for 3 episodes but when he became popular as a polarizing villain, they decided to leave him in.  Imagine LOST without Ben wreaking havoc all over the island?  It would be a very different series.
Anyway, the above "Unanswered LOST Questions" video from was meant to be funny in a pissed off kind of way but they actually brought up a lot of things that I totally forgot about.  Many people in the Comments Section have stated that a lot of these questions were answered subtly, if not directly but I can't say I knew more than a handful. I'm sure most regular LOST fans would feel the same.

Someone took the time to give some quick answers but I'm not sure how accurate it is or how much of it is opinion.  You will have to pause the video each time there is a question and keep track of what number you are on which might drive you crazy since there are 89 of them but it's still interesting, nonetheless. Check it:

News Reporter "Demonstrates" How To Break In to a Car (FAIL)

Nice try buddy.  I bet you never thought this tape would make it out of the archives.  I hope you've been hitting the gym since this video was taped because that was just pathetic.  You just got owned by a 70 year old who did it in one try!!!

I will give this guy some benefit of the doubt though, just because I know this isn't as easy as it looks if you don't hit it in just the right place.  I remember one time a few years back where one of my roommates called me drunk from the T Station at like 2 AM because he left his keys at work and wanted me to come pick him up.

He was pretty drunk at the time and realized that he had an extra set of keys in his glove compartment (who does that by the way?), so he tried kicking in the window like a jackass.  I'm pretty sure he pulled his hamstring and sprained an ankle and just gave up after about 10 attempts.  When I got there to pick him up, he was a sitting on the ground up against his car like a very defeated drunktard. I wish I had the security tape of that one.  Freakin' dumbass.

So the moral of the story is, have a heavy and/or sharp object to throw or swing at the window of the car you are trying to break into or you will just bounce off like a bug on the windshield.  Or you could just not being a p**** for once in your life... - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Sick Catch By Some Minor League Dude to Rob a Home Run

Here is a nasty catch by Double-A Springfield Cardinals‘ outfielder Antone DeJesus. He timed his jump perfectly and used the wall nicely to propel himself high enough to make this tough snag. Very impressive.

I know that there are plenty of catches like this that happen on a regular basis in the Majors but don't ever expect to see them posted on a blog or YouTube. MLB doesn't allow clips to be shown on any site except for which doesn't allow embedding of videos. Idiots. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Air Jordan IX Retro Varsity Blue vs. OG Powder Blue (SUBTLE DIFFERENCES)

This is a quick comparison of the soon to be released Air Jordan IX University Blue vs. the original Air Jordan 9 Powder Blue from Sneaker Dave of The new version of the AJ IX is very similar to the original but there are a few subtle changes you will notice in the video.

Some sneakerheads might be disappointed with the slight difference in the blue but I still think these are as hot as the original and I will most definitely be copping a pair this weekend.

Vote for Your Favorite Catchphrases for the New NBA Jam on Wii (COOL)

EA Sports will be releasing a new version of NBA Jam for the Nintendo Wii this year with an expected release date of December 31, 2010.  If you couldn't guess, I am super pumped since this was one of my favorite games growing up.  I'm sure I logged hundreds, if not thousands of hours playing this game in the early 90's.

The three players for each team have already been voted on and now EA is letting the fans pick the top 4 catchphrases that will make into the game.  I hope they keep the classics like "He's heating up!", "He's on FIRE!" and "Boom-shakka-laka-laka" because those will never get old.

EA Sports asked fans to submit suggestions for new catchphrases and they have narrowed the list down to the top 64 and are allowing the fans to vote in a March Madness type bracket format. You can hear each entry read by Tim Kitzrow (the original voice of NBA Jam) on the game's official Facebook page. Below are a few of the top choices courtesy of

Nas - "Hey Young World 2010" (SICK REMAKE OF A CLASSIC)

Woah!  Nas brought the heat on this one!  I'm not usually a fan of remaking classics but in this case, it definitely worked.  Nas kept the vibe of the original track and then put his own twist on it and absolutely killed it.  That sounds like the hungry and inspired Nas of the early 90's right there.  So sick.

This is part of Levi's "Pioneers Sessions" project where they invited musical pioneers to recreate the music that inspired them.  Hopefully the rest are as good as this one because this one is hot as hell! They will be releasing two new tracks every week from various artists in Rock, Hip Hop and R&B.  Some of the other artists that I'm interested in hearing include Raphael Saadiq and John Legend featuring The Roots.

This Week in Unnecessary Censorship (LOST EDITION)

I'm not going to bother breaking down the finale of LOST since it would take me a couple of hours to do so but since everyone is talking about it today, I thought I would hit you off with a special LOST Edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live's "This Week In Unnecessary Censorship.   Definitely a classic.

Locke: "Shh!  I f***** your son's dog."
Michael: "What?!?!?"

Richard about young Ben: ""If I f*** him. he's never going to be the same."

Drake Feat. Young Jeezy - "Unforgettable" (HOT)

At times, I get a little sick of Drake since it seems like he's been on every hit song for the past 2 years and I want to hear someone new once in awhile but I have to admit that he rarely puts out a shitty song.  Drake's "Unforgettable" featuring Young Jeezy is another perfect example.  At first I didn't think I was going to like it and then something just grabbed my attention and pulled me in.

This is a really dope track that sounds like nothing else that is currently out there right now which is a big part of it's allure.  It's just a a good ass song all around.  The sample of Aaliyah singing "Let Me Know" from her song "At Your Best" was a nice addition as well. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Celtics Crush Magic to Go Up 3-0 In Series (RONDO'S DIVE WAS NASTY)

I don't really need to break down Game 3 since ESPN has been playing the highlights non-stop since Saturday night but I thought I would do a quick post to relive this awesome game and get ready for Game 4 tonight.  I will be at the game and I'm already fired up at 8 AM.  I'm not sure I will get much work done all day.  I expect the C's to close out the sweep and give another beatdown to the bitch ass Magic.  I don't see these guys putting any more effort in at this point.  If they were going to put up a fight, it would have been in Game 3.  Now, they probably just want to get this over with as soon as possible and I expected them to lay down for this one.

Rondo has been a beast all series long and his effort has been unreal.  The play where he dove for the loose ball and then got right up and made a tough layup over Jason Williams is pretty much the play that sums up this whole series.  The Celtics just want it more.  Just check out how pissed Williams was in the locker room after the game.

Ray Allen's dunk past Dwight Howard was also a great highlight for Game 3.  It happened early in the 1st quarter and really set the tone for the game.  I love seeing him throw one down with authority once in awhile  just to send a signal to the other team that he's still got it and you need to respect his drive.  I'm a huge Ray Allen fan and even I forget how athletic he still is at his age but he always gives us at least one good dunk a series to make sure we all remember.  Gotta love it.  Big game tonight!!! - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Rick Ross Ft. Ne-Yo - "Super High" (STACEY DASH IS STILL SMOKIN' HOT)

I probably wouldn't have posted this video for Rick Ross' new single "Super High" featuring Ne-Yo if it wasn't for the super hot Stacey Dash.  She is still looks smoking hot after all of these years.  She still looks almost exactly the same as she looked in Clueless which was 15 years ago!!!  She kind of fell off the radar for a few years but it seems like she is starting to rejuvenate her career and has been making appearances all over the place lately.  Hopefully we get to see a lot more of her in the very near future.

Peep the behind the scenes footage featuring Stacey, as well as some bonus pics after the jump.

Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack Being Released June 19, 2010 (MONEY)

After months of rumors of a potential Air Jordan VI Infrared pack, it has finally been confirmed that not only will this pack be released but it will be coming to the US as well.  There was some talk that it would be an Asia release only and it had sneakerheads flipping out since these two shoes are some of the most coveted shoes and colorways in the Air Jordan collection.
The Air Jordan VI Black/Varsity Red just dropped back in January and although it still sold well, many people were bitching about the fact that it wasn't in the original colorway of Infrared.  I still copped a pair because you can barely tell the difference but there were others who didn't understand the change and basically boycotted the release like a bunch of whining bitches.  Lame.
Obviously now, it makes a little more sense why Nike changed the color since we know the Infrared pack is actually being released.  I guess they wanted some differentiation and a reason for people like me to basically purchase the same show twice.  I guess they got me because I am going to try my best to get my pack  though I have a feeling they are going to be very tough to get.  Expect to see big markups if you don't catch a pair from retailers on the release date.

The Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack drops on June 19th, 2010 for $310.

"Sneaker Friends 2010" Show In ATL (HOT KICKS)

Here's a look at what happened at the Sneaker Friends 2010 Show in Atlanta a few weeks ago.  There was definitely some serious heat being showcased and even sold at this show.  There was enough of a buzz that it even brought out some heavy hitters like Rick Ross to buy some new kicks.

The one pair of kicks that they showed in the video that I've never seen before were the Custom Eminem Air Jordan 2's.  They are a little on the ugly side but there are supposedly only like 10 pairs in the world so these are super exclusive.  They've got the 313 on the back to represent Detroit and the Eminem "E" logo on the tongue.I guess I could get down with these...

Dan Balan – "Chica Bomb" Chew Fu Full Length Remix Featuring Some Hot Ass Chicks (GREATEST VIDEO EVER?)

I've never heard of this song "Chica Bomb" before but it's officially on my radar now because of this unbelievable video. It has what might be the best collection of smoking hot chicks I've ever seen.  I guarantee this will have close to a million views in the next week as soon as it makes it's way around the internet. There's no way this stays under the radar for much longer.

This might be the best idea ever because it will get thousands of people to hear a song they may have never listened to otherwise but it might also be incredibly stupid because it took me at least 3 or 4 views just to realize there was even a song being played.  All I saw was shaking asses around in my face and then I was officially hypnotized.  I guess that's the risk you take with putting super hot chicks in a music video.

Oh!  Do yourself a favor and watch it in HD. Otherwise, you are just depriving yourself of pure awesomeness.

Dj RyB's Custom Reebok ZigTechs From

Check it! I just created my first pair of Custom Reebok Zig Tech's at
I went with a louder color than I was originally intending but these just looked too damn good to pass up. They are definitely a modification of the Chad Ochocinco/Bengals colorway that they have on the front page which are hot in their own right. I wanted to flip it enough to make it original though. These are defintiely bright as shit and aren't for every day wearing but they will certainly go nice with the right outfit this summer. I can also guarantee that my wife isn't going to be losing me in the mall or in a crowded public area whenever I'm rockin' these joints.

What do you think? Are these obnoxious or am I going to be fresh to death in 5-6 weeks?

Ozzy Osbourne - "Crazy Train" Smooth Jazz Version (BADASS)

Andy Rehfeldt is back with another Smooth Jazz Remix and this time he decided to use Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train". I'm not sure it's as good as the original where he used Metallica's "Enter Sandman" but it's right up there. This version of "Crazy Train" almost sounds too good and a little too hard to be Smooth Jazz where the Metallica one was just funny as shit because it was so completely opposite of the original and just ridiculous.

Regardless of which one you prefer, you have to admit that Andy is super talented.  hope he keeps putting out remixes like these in the near future. I guess he actually plays every instrument that he uses to create the Smooth Jazz Version of each song which is very impressive. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

" Amazing Is The Journey" - New NBA Auto-Tune Commercial (PIERCE FEATURED)

I sense a little foreshadowing here in this new NBA commercial.  Even though there are images of the Suns and Magic, most of the commercial focuses on the Celtics and Lakers and more specifically, Pierce and Kobe. Very intense...

Ref Kicks Out Magic Fan After Throwing Ball At Him (WTF?)

I don't know how I missed this during the game last night.  I must have been up taking a piss or grabbing another beer or something.  At first it seemed like NBA ref Joe DeRosa kicked out this Magic fan for literally no reason but it seems like the guy was talking shit to Derosa for awhile before that.  The ball throwing incident was just the icing on the cake.

It's pretty lame for DeRosa to let a fan get in his head like that but at the same time, that guy needs to settle down.  It's a freakin' basketball game.  Shitty calls happen all game long.  Get over it, buddy.  Of course now, all of the Magic fans are going to say "the fix is in" and try and create some controversy out of nothing.  How about the reason why your team is losing is because they are sucking ass right now! - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Celtics Beat Magic To Take 2-0 Lead (RONDO AND PIERCE LIGHT IT UP)

Awww shit!  That's how you do it fellas!  Stealing Game 1 was great but going up 2-0 on the road is absolutely huge!!!  Pierce and Rondo were on fire and the C's Defense was intense once again.  The Magic can't figure out how to get a good shot off and you can see the frustration in their faces.  They know this series is quickly slipping away and there is a high probability they could get swept since they are headed to Boston for Games 3 & 4.

Here's an unbelievable stat that I heard at the end of the game.  This is the first time in CELTICS HISTORY that they have gone up 2-0 on the road.  How the hell is that possible?  With all of the great Celtics teams throughout the years, that is absolutely incredible. I would have thought at least one Championship team would have pulled that off before.

Here's another one.  The Celtics are 32-0 all time when going up 2-0 in a series.  Wow!  It sounds like Pierce heard that stat before because he is already talking smack about a sweep on his Twitter account.  "Anybody got a BROOM?"
If you didn't catch Pierce's post game interview then you missed a classic.  He was so fired up yet so calm at the same time.  The confidence was just oozing out of him.  How can you not get pumped after this?

Doris Burke: "Where is your mindset...the tendecy would be to relax up 2-0, what do you think happens in Boston?"

Pierce: "Our fans aren't gonna let us relax.  Y'all aren't gonna let us relax.  We gonna try to close this out in two games.  Y'all hear me?  We coming hone to close it out."  Looks in camera and winks... - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Puma's New "Clever Little Bag" Shoe Box Design (COOL)

Puma just introduced their new cutting edge shoe box called "Clever Little Bag".  By reducing the size and materials used for the "box", Puma was able to reduce cardboard use by 65%, eliminated assembly and tissue, plus save 8,500 tons of paper, 20 million megajoules of electricity, 1 million liters of water and reduce carbon dioxide by 10,000 tons.  Wow.
As a sneakerhead, I'm a little concerned though.  I like the tissue included in the shoe because it helps keep it's shape and gets rid of moisture along with the silica packets.  It's also going to make a it a lot more difficult to stack and store any new Pumas with the rest of my kicks.  I'm all for saving the planet but I also have limited space in my shoe closet that the wife restricts me to for my sneaker collection.

I do like the design though.  It's very clean and simple.  I did like a few of the other designs from the video.  When you slow it down, you can get a glimpse at a few nice looking boxes like these below:

Team Flight Brothers Halftime Dunk Show at Orlando Magic Game (MAD HOPS)

I'm not sure if this halftime show by TFB was in a recent playoff game or not but either way, I am a little bit jealous.  This is by far better than any halftime show I've ever seen in Boston and it's probably better than most of the recent NBA dunk contests as well.  Team Flight Brothers always brings the heat.

Check out how far away TDub was on that two footed alley oop dunk.  Dude was way back in the circle and looked like he wasn't even going to reach the rim but then kept gliding and threw it down with ease.  SICK!!!

MyTown: Boston With Brian Scalabrine (YARDBARKER.COM INTERVIEW) put together a decent little interview with the Celtics' ginger, Brian Scalabrine.  Some of the highlights include Scal getting some special treatment by a North End restaurant owner to ward off evil spirits for the playoffs, plus a trip down Newbury Street to relive the 2008 Championship parade and some fun at his favorite park.  Here are his two best quotes.  Right on, Scal!

“Boston is the best of both worlds…convenience of a smaller city, but it has the culture and all the amenities of a New York…I like Boston better than all the cities I’ve ever been to, even the cities that I travel to…it’s the perfect type of city for me.”

“Boston fans are what makes Boston, Boston. If it weren’t for them, we’d just be another city. Our fans – with the love-hate relationship of sports – makes us who we are and makes the city who it is.”

I've had a love/hate relationship with Scal over the years.  On one hand, I can't stand him because he is an overplayed 12th man (at best) who gets more minutes than he really deserves, most likely because he has some blackmail pictures of Doc locked away in a safe somewhere.  Even with a bench full of nice role players this season, Doc still found a way to get Scal in there for more than 9 minutes a game.  That's just too many minutes that could have been given to more deserving players such as Sheldon Williams who ended up being buried on the end of the bench for most of the season even though he always seemed to outperform Scal when he got some PT.

On the other hand, Scal seems like a really nice guy and can even be pretty funny at times so I guess I don't really hate the guy on a personal level.  In all honesty, I can't really be mad at him for being able to work himself into a decent contract and make a few million dollars.  It was the Celtics that decided to overpay him by giving him a 5 year, $15 million contract.  It's just tough seeing him get out there and looking like ridiculously slow and out of shape while bricking threes all over the place when we could have had someone much better for the same amount of money.  Once in awhile, he does get in a zone and starts draining threes which helps me forget about his contract for at least a few minutes but then reality sets back in.

I think he is setting himself up for the near future with interviews like this plus his radio gig on 98.5 because he knows his career is on the downside.  I give him credit for seeing the writing on the wall.  I think he might end up staying in Boston next year based on some of things he said about how he loves the city but I have a feeling he won't be playing with the Celtics... - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Diddy / Dirty Money Ft. T.I. & Rick Ross - "Hello Good Morning" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

It seems like when Diddy and/or Bad Boy actually releases some new material these days, it ends up being garbage.  Diddy seems to sign a ton of decent artists and put them on the shelves to never see the light of day.  I can't remember the last time Bad Boy put out something halfway decent except for maybe Diddy's Press Play album from 2006 and that was more of a party/dance album than actual Hip Hop/Rap.

I guess that's why he decided to put out some new ish with some heavy hitters in Rick Ross and T.I..  Even though this is still on the uptempo dance type vibe, it's still gets the job done and is a little harder than his past few singles.  I'm still confused what exactly Dirty Money is, by the way.  I guess it's technically a group with two chicks but it doesn't sound like they are bringing much to the table.  As always, Diddy is still the main focus.

I think Diddy is actually better off going with this sing-song auto-tuned style than rapping because we all know he's not exactly the most gifted lyricist or rapper.  This song is definitely huge in the clubs and it's been hitting radio pretty hard lately too.  I am always skeptical of new Diddy songs but this one is on fire.  Expect this one to be around for awhile.

News Anchor Talks About Enjoying P**** On Air Like It's Normal (DUMBASS)

Seriously?  Did you really think you were gonna get away with that, dude? Are you really that dumb or are you trying to get fired?  What a dumbass.

The two women had no idea how to respond to such an absurd question but they did a decent job of trying to laugh it off even though they were extremely uncomfortable.  There were some serious douche chills floating around that studio.  I even enjoyed the guy's follow up:

News Guy: "So She's Enjoying Penis A Little Bit More, Is She?"

Lady Reporter: "Um,, ya, she's enjoying her sex life a little bit more...her and her husband."

News Guy: "I bet she is.  There's proof then." - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Is Delonte West Banging LeBron's Mom? (PLEASE BE TRUE)

At first I thought the story of Delonte West banging LeBron's Mom was a joke and was just another excuse for Cleveland fans as to why the Cavs and LeBron sucked in Round 2 but then I started thinking about it and realized there is a pretty good chance this is actually legit.

If you know anything about the dude, you would know that Delonte is completely tapped and fully capable of doing something like this (in my opinion, at least).  The guy is definitely a little unstable (I think he is bi-polar?) and as we've learned in the past, doesn't always make the best decisions.  Just last year, he was arrested for speeding on his motorcycle in which he was carrying a guitar case filled with automatic weapons.  WTF?!?!  Who does that?

On top of that, there are plenty of YouTube videos of him freestyle rapping about stupid shit or just acting a fool and making himself look like a clown.  Having fun is one thing, but when it makes people question your sanity, maybe you shouldn't put it out there for all of the world to see.  Based on what I've seen from him over the years when he played for the Celtics and Cavs, I've come to the realization that he's far from the smartest guy on the team.  I feel like he's one of those guys that's so messed up that he wouldn't know it's completely wrong to bang one of your teammates mother's, especially LeBron's.  Did he really think nothing bad would come of the situation?
The blame isn't all on Delonte though.  If this is true, LeBron's Mom was also a willing participant. She should have known better too.  She had to have known this had the potential to completely F up her son's head, although maybe she's just as clueless as Delonte. , who originally broke this story, has some more insight about the situation and says that this isn't the first time LeBron's Mom has gotten down with one of his friends:

"My source goes on to say..”It’s A KNOWN FACT, THAT GLORIA JAMES WAS ALSO SLEEPING WITH HIS EX-AGENT’S TWIN BROTHER (ERIC GOODWIN)….AND THIS WAS THE REASON HE REALLY FIRED AARON GOODWIN….”So it appears she has a history of getting with LeBron’s friends..I guess it’s not inconceivable that Gloria James is involved with Delonte West.."

DAMN!!!  Finding out one of your supposed best friends and teammates was banging your Mom would always be F'd up and would screw you up for days but I don't think it's a legit reason why you should completely shit the bed for 3 games in a row in a huge playoff series.  Plenty of professional athletes have dealt with worse, such as a parent dying the day before a big game (see Brett Favre).

I could see how if he found out about this madness right before Game 4, it might have messed up his head pretty bad for at least one game.  Although, I'm pretty sure he was looking for any excuse to get out of Cleveland any way, so even though this might not have been the best case scenario, at least it gives him an easy out that everyone could understand.  It should be interesting to see how this story progresses.

While we are on the subject of LeBron and the Cavs, I thought it would be a good time to post up some video to relive the awesomeness of Game 6.  This will never get old:

UPDATE:  NBA Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy says that the allegations about Delonte banging LeBron's Mom are absolutely true, "according to his sources".  WOW! - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Clinton Sparks ft. Jermaine Dupri & DJ Class - "Favorite DJ" (CLUB BANGER)

Maybe I'm a little biased being a DJ myself but I'm definitely feeling Clinton Sparks new track "Favorite DJ" featuring Jermaine Dupri & DJ Class.  This will bump real hard in the clubs and I could see myself putting this on a new edition of the Dj RyB "Hit Pop" mix series.

By the way, was that Clinton Sparks on the hook?  Damn.  It sounds like he's not half bad at singing.  I'm sure he used a ton of effect on his voice but it didn't sound like there was much auto-tune there so it could be fairly legit.  Not bad. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

"Batting Stance Guy" Presents: 1st Team All-Mustache & All-Beard Lineups (CLASSIC)

"Batting Stance Guy" is back and he's bringing the heat with his batting stance imitations of the 1st Team All-Mustache and All-Beard Lineups.  How the hell does he remember all of these dudes?  He's like a whiffle ball idiot savant.

If you haven't seen any of his old videos, check out his imitations of Red Sox players past and present below or visit his YouTube page.  Dude is unreal. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Robin Thicke - "It’s In The Mornin’" ft. Snoop Dogg (SMOOTH R&B)

Here's a smooth new R&B track from Robin Thicke called "It's In the Morning" featuring Snoop Dogg.  Robin Thicke is one of the few artists still putting out real R&B these days.  You can throw his joints on when you need some slow jams for you and your lady or when you just want to sit back and relax and listen to some grown up type ish.  Dude is legit.

Derick Boydar: Offensive Foul

It's been a little while since I've posted a new Boydar video but I think the timing is right with the NBA Playoffs in full swing.  Derick's attempt at getting an Offensive Foul is very similar to some of the molestations happening during the Cavs/Celtics series.  I'm pretty sure LeBron would get the charge called on either one of those plays.  Ridiculous. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Fat Dad Faceplants into a Car (DUMMY)

I think the title explains it all.  There is a reason why you only see skinny people riding skateboards.
That was just too aggressive for someone his size.  Start with walking more than 10 feet without losing your breath or needing to take a seat before you start trying some crazy shit like this. - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

DJ Noodles ft. Ace Hood, Brisco, 2 Pistols & Tom G - "Hands High" (SICK BIGGIE SAMPLE)

I'm not sure how popular this track will get since it doesn't have any big names but I'm loving it because of the Biggie sample "Wave 'em side to side and keep your hands high" on the hook.  I think if a few people jumped on this instrumental and put together some more memorable verses, I think this could be a huge club hit.

What do you think?  Does DJ Noodles' "Hands High" have a chance to become a hit or will this quickly fade away before it even gets started? - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Fat Girls Shouldn't Table Dance (HYSTERICAL)

Holy shit!  This is a freakin' classic right here!!!  There are just so many things going on here that I don't know where to start so I'm not even going to try.  I think Bartsool said it best.  Just pure comedy all around.

This reminds me of Jamaica where everyone is basically just having sex on the dancefloor.  It's disturbing yet fantastically awesome all at the same time... - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets

Tom "Turns His Swag On" While Hanging w/ Detlef Schrempf (CLASSIC CLIP FROM PARKS & RECREATION)

I finally caught up to speed with all of my DVR'd episodes of Parks & Recreation last night.  I was starting to get a little bored with the show but the last two episodes stepped it up and brought me back in.  They definitely redeemed themselves and proved why they are still one of the funniest shows on television.

The last episode "Telethon" was solid but there were two clips in particular that had me cracking up.  The first is the one above where Tom is supposed to be taking former Indian Pacer Detlef Schrempf to the Telethon as a special guest but instead gets side tracked and takes him to the club.  Tom gets f'd up on two beers and then pulls off this classic rendition of Soulja Boy's "Turn My Swag On".  Love it!

This clip is a little more random but I still thought it was funny as hell.  Who comes up with this shit?  These writers must be baked out of their minds all day coming up with some of these lines.  Classic! - Addicted to Sneakers, Sports, Hip Hop and Gadgets
