Young Jeezy - "Lose My Mind" ft. Plies (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Jeezy has been popping up all over the place over the past few months so it's nice to see an official video for his new single "Lose My Mind" from the Thug Motivation 103 album dropping in June.

As with most Jeezy tracks, it took me a little while to catch on to the beat and flow of the song but once i got into it, I was addicted.  The beat ia hypnotizing and before you know it, you're bouncing your head violently like some dude at a death metal concert.

Even though Plies is mad annoying with his excessive yelling and mumbling, I didn't even care because I was already locked in.  Good shit.  A new Jeezy album is definitely due.  I need some new heat to bump in the ride for the summer.  Yeeeeeeaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!Photobucket

Nas & Damian Marley - "As We Enter" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

In case you weren't paying attention, Nas and Damian Marley have decided to get together and collaborate on a new album which is some of the greatest news I've heard in a long time.   The concept in itself of mixing Rap and Reggae is sick but the fact that it's two of the greatest in either genre makes it that much better. I've been a huge fan of both of these dudes for a long time and hearing anything new from either of them is always nice but having them together on an entire album is pretty hard to imagine.

"As We Enter" is the first official single from the Distant Relatives album and if this is any indication of what's to come then this album is going to be on FIRE!  This isn't the first time Rap & Reggae has collaborated like this but it might be the first time where it was done so effortlessly.  These two sound like they were made to perform together.  I have a feeling that this is going to be a timeless album that we'll be listening to for years to come.

Distant Relatives will be in stores on May 18th.  Download "As We Enter" on Nas & Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley - As We Enter - Single - As We Enter

Lil' Problem - "Baby Maker" (HILARIOUS)

Now this is some funny ass shit!  I had zero expectations for this video but now I'm thinking this could actually be a hit!  Even though it's a complete joke, the beat is decent and the hook is catchy as hell. This definitely sounds just as good as some of the garbage you hear on the radio these days. I'm glad the Parody Rap is making a comeback. This is freakin' money!

Was that a Blair Underwood sighting by the way?  WTF?!?!

T.I. - "I'm Back" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Here's the official video for T.I.'s "I'm Back" which is the first official single from his new album King Uncaged.   As I mentioned in my original post about this track when it first surfaced back in March, this is classic T.I. that sounds like it could be on the T.I. vs. T.I.P.or Paper Trail albums.

It's definitely one of those songs that keeps getting better with ever listen.  Every time I hear it, I get fired up and start bobbing my head violently to the beat like I seem to do with every other T.I. track that has energy like this.

I'm looking forward to the new album and seeing what he has to say after coming back from prison.  It seems like he's got a lot of emotion he's trying to get out and is motivated to take over the Rap game once again.

King Uncaged is scheduled to drop on 8.17.10.  In the meantime, if you want to download "I'm Back", check it out on T.I. - I'm Back - Single - I'm Back

Milwaukee Bucks Mascot Performs Insane Backflip Dunk Off of a 15 Foot Ladder (BANGO!)

Now that's how you F'n do it!  Bango is "THAT DUDE"!  This is exactly what I'm talking about when I get all fired up about how much the Celtics mascot Lucky sucks at his job.  Show me something I haven't seen a hundred times before!  I get it that you can jump off a trampoline and do a flip in the air over a few people.  Woopty Doo.  I could do that shit too if I had 5 feet of padding beneath me.

How about stepping it up a little bit and doing something that takes some serious skill and athleticism.  Bango the Milwaukee Bucks mascot hears me loud and clear.  This dude is risking broken limbs and possible paralyzation with this stunt and he pulls it off like he does that shit in his sleep.  Dude didn't even hesitate when he made it to the top of the ladder and he executed it perfectly.  That's what's up!

"Relax and Take Notes" all of you other NBA mascots.  Bango is officially the King of Stunts and I don't think he can be knocked off his throne...

Greatest Ending Ever? Croatian Buzzer Beating Madness (INSANE)

Wow!  I'm not sure what to think about this clip right here.  It's just crazy on so many levels.  On one hand, this might have been one of the best endings to a basketball game that I've ever seen.  You had two guys with balls the size of watermelons draining two incredible shots with just seconds left in the game.  That's some intense shit.

On the other hand, the refs completely f'd up and lost control of the game by letting the first team and it's bench celebrate on the court even though there were still .6 seconds left on the clock and no one called a timeout.  They should have been dropping technical fouls left and right and the away team should have won by 20 after all of those free throws.

Look at how many clowns in street clothes are just running around like a bunch of assholes, hugging random players in the middle of the court.  Are you freakin' serious?  How do you not know the rules?  What a bunch of amateurs. I guess by letting the half court shot count the refs were basically saying f*** it but what if that shot hadn't gone in?  The away team definitely deserved the right to finish that final play without 30 people from the opposing team in their way.  What a bunch of bullshit.  I guess it all worked out in the end and karma came back to those bitches for celebrating too early.

Here is everything you need to know about the two teams playing in this game.  I'm going to jack one of the comments from YouTube since I am too lazy to type it all again myself.

acascentrala: For all non-Europeans: This is the final game between the best teams of Croatia and Serbia (Cibona [white] and Partizan [black]). It was played in Zagreb, Croatia, home of the white team on April 25, 2010.

Cibona made a 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds left and due to the big rivalry started to celebrate a bit too prematurely. Yes, there should have been a Technical, but the refs probably feared for their own well-being and simply didn't dare call a T on the home team with 0.6 seconds left.

B.o.B - "Bet I" ft. T.I. & Playboy Tre (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Here's the official video for B.o.B's new single "Bet I" from the The Adventures Of Bobby Ray album that dropped yesterday.  If you haven't bought it yet, I suggest you do yourself a favor and get it on B.o.B - B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray (Deluxe)

As expected, this is one of the best and most diverse Hip Hop albums to be released in a long time.  Most artists are barely releasing good singles at this point but B.o.B. put together an album that is just unreal from start to finish.  There isn't a bad song on there and he does a great job of selecting tracks that will be interesting to people who enjoy anything from Rock to Hip Hop to R&B.

"Bet I" isn't exactly my favorite song from B.o.B. but I think it does a good job of showing his versatility and ability to adapt to many different styles and beats.  The kid can flow, sing, produce and even play the guitar.  It seems like he does a little of everything and does it all well.   The Adventures Of Bobby Ray is more than refreshing to hear in this day and age of the iTunes single.  It's nice to see people still making creative and unique music without worrying about what the public opinion will be.  That's how you do it!

"Men With Talent" - New Heineken Commercial (AWESOME)

They did it again!  Heineken has been killing it with their commercials lately.  Their beer might taste like a skunk shitted in a bottle but I gotta give them props for some of the best beer commercials on TV.

With this commercial for the fake show Men With Talent, they inadvertently created one of the best ideas for a reality/game show that I've ever seen.  If this was real, I could guarantee that every guy from age 16 to infinity would make this their new favorite show.   It's just awesome on so many levels.

It kind of reminds me of NBC's new show Minute to Win It but with beer and way cooler.

Air Jordan IX White/Citrus-Deep Forest (FRESH)

Photobucket
A sick new colorway of the Air Jordan IX has just surfaced in the form of the White/Citrus-Deep Forest.  These definitely caught my attention right away with the crazy laces and the limited but very effective usage of Citrus Yellow and Black along with the "Deep Forest" Green stitching on the mostly white shoe.

I'm not usually a fan of putting the patent leather on anything but the AJ XI but in this case it is fairly subtle and works well.  I would love to get a closer look on these but that probably won't happen since there are rumors that there will only be 2,000 pairs available. Either way, I love the new and creative colorways that Jordan Brand is starting to drop.  It's about time they hit us off with something new on one of the classics.

Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile" vs. Jay-Z's "99 Problems" (MASH UP)

It's been awhile since I've posted any Mash Ups so I thought I would hit you off with this dope mix of Jimi Hendrixs' Voodoo Chile vs. Jay-Z's 99 Problems.  They were playing this on the Howard Stern Show today for some reason and I thought it sounded pretty nice.  It's definitely a cool mix between Rock and Rap and since 99 Problems already had those sick guitar riffs, the combination definitely made sense.  Good ish.

N.E.R.D. - "Hot N Fun" ft. Nelly Furtado (NEW ISH)

Here is a hot new track from N.E.R.D. featuring Nelly Furtado called "Hot N Fun".  It's a nice uptempo joint with some commercial appeal so I could see it getting some urban radio play unlike some of their past songs that tend to get played more on rock stations .

I'm always up for some new N.E.R.D. tracks.  Every time you think you've got their sound figured out, they switch it up and keep you guessing.  They always keep it fresh and could care less if people don't like what they are doing.  They just make fun music that they like and you can't hate on that.

This is not an official video since someone just threw together a random N.E.R.D. clip with the new track but it's better than just staring at a picture like most of the vids you see on YouTube.

This Week in Unnecessary Censorship: 4.22.10 (JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE)

As I've stated before, I just can't get enough of the "This Week In Unnecessary Censorship" segment from the Jimmy Kimmel Show.  It's always on point and they defintiely killed it this week:

"Police say a man f***** his girlfriend for years, get this, using her cellphone."
"Are American children too fat to f***?"
"We do a lot of a** f***** in Minnesota."
"Ooh look!  Can we f*** him Barney?"  "That's a good question.  You should always ask before you f*** a doggy."

Behind The Scenes: No I.D. Recreates Jay-Z's "D.O.A." (BEATS BY THE POUND)

This is a cool behind the scenes look at how Jay-Z producer No I.D. created the beat for "D.O.A." which was used as a promotional video for Native Instruments.  I kind of wish No I.D. had described the process a little better because it's tough to follow him at times but it's still interesting to see him putting the beat together on the MPC like that.  There's a reason why he's a producer and not an artist.  Dude was nervous as hell behind the camera!

I'm kind of surprised how much he jacked the loop from the original track but that's kind of his style.  It sounded dope as shit and no one else ever used it before (that I know of) so he definitely gets some points for having an ear for a dope sample to loop.

Ludacris & Mystikal Perform "Move Bitch" For The First Time In 9 Years (COOL)

Woah!  Was that a Mystikal sighting?!?!  Dude has been M.I.A forever.  He actually has a legit excuse though.  He was in JAIL.  In 2003, Mystikal pleaded guilty to sexual battery and extortion. He recently served a six-year prison sentence in Louisiana and was released January 14, 2010.  Yikes.

You can tell that he hasn't been on the stage in a long time because dude was shook up there.  I'm not sure a Ludacris concert is the best place to get on stage for the first time in 6 years.  Maybe he should have started with some house parties and dive bars to get his confidence back up.  Just look at him in this video!  He was like a deer caught in the headlights.  I think he might have even forgotten a few lyrics too!   It's all good though.  The crowd helped him along and carried him in spots which was cool.

"Move Bitch" was and still is one of my favorite "pissed off anthems".  This song is straight up fight music.  Mayhem would ensue anytime I threw this on in the club.  People would start throwing bows like they were in a mosh pit or something.  Good times.  I can't believe that was almost 10 years ago.  Damn!

I can't say Mystikal has a catalog of classic material laying around but he does have some decent hits from back in the day.  Remember these joints?  "Shake It Fast (aka Shake Ya Ass)"; "Been So Long"; "Bouncin' Back (Bumpin' Me Against The Wall"; "Stutter" w/ Joe.

Even if you don't, as soon as you hear them below, you definitely will catch a flashback. Dude was the shit for about a 3 year span in the early 2000's.  Hopefully he still has the skills to make a few more hits. Hip Hop could use his energy and unique style right now.

Review of the Superkix.com Sneaker Search Engine by SneakGeekz (DOPE SITE)

Here's a cool video from Carlos of SneakGeekz TV doing a review of the SuperKix.com Sneaker Search Engine.  I had no idea about this site before but I am defintiely going to start using it ASAP.  If you have ever been on the hunt for a particularly hard to find sneaker, you know it's a pain in the ass to check dozens of sites over and over again just to see if they have your joints in stock.  Even when they do, the price might be too high or they don't have your size and you have to start from square one.

SuperKix.com searches over 40+ high quality and legit online sneakers spots and does all of the hard work for you.  You can even break the search down by size and budget.  Sick!  I'm kind of surprised no one thought of this before but I'm glad someone finally did.  This is going to save me a ton of time and stress.  Good ish!

Wu Tang Clan Name Generator (UP FROM THE 36 CHAMBERS!!!)

Photobucket
I was checking out Google Trends this morning and saw "Wu Tang Clan Name Generator" at #4.  WTF?!?! Of course that caught my eye so I did a little digging and I still have no idea why so many people would be searching for this today.  None.  This is super random considering anything Wu related is probably about 10 years late but I'm not gonna complain since they are one of my favorite Hip Hop groups of all time. I guess it's just one of those random viral things that has no real explanation why it got popular.
Photobucket
Obviously, I had to go through to the site and see what my Wu handle would be.  I ended up with  "Ol` Filthy, Sweaty Bastard" which is kind of wack and just a lazy version of Old Dirty Bastard so I had to do another one.  This time I went with my full government and ended up with "Partially-Formed Transformah".  That'll do.

Try the Wu Tang Clan Name Generator for yourself and leave your handle in the comments so I can see what else is out there.  And now, some classic Wu Tang tracks for your listening pleasure.

Fordham Player Flips Over Catcher to Score At Home (NASTY)

Now that's how you score at the plate.  Forget trying to plow over the catcher and potentially knocking your shoulder out of place or breaking a bone. They have an unfair advantage with all of that armor on anyway.  If you are capable of jumping over him Superman style without getting touched and land on the plate with your hand after completing a front flip, then that's what you do.  So nasty!

The video is super ghetto and there are no replays or close ups but it's still unreal. You'll probably hit rewind about 45 times to see if the catcher did get the tag on him like he and the coach argued but there's no way he did.  Dude just got worked and can't handle it.  Suck it up, buddy.  That is baseball's equivalent of getting dunked on.  PWNED!!!

Epic Rain Delay Theatre From WKU and FAU Baseball (AMUSING)

I was about to bail on this video when I was about a quarter of the way through because of the annoying announcer but I decided to stick with it for some reason and it totally paid off.  Although some of the "acts" by the FAU and Western Kentucky baseball players would make you question their manhood, I have to give them props for the Sir Mix Alot "Jump On It" dance routine and Mosh Pit re-enactment.  I could have done without the Shake Weight infomercial though.  Put your shirt on, guy...

However, the classic WWF Hulk Hogan match re-enactment was by far the best of them all.  Those dudes have definitely practiced that before because they had the whole match down to a T.  Shit was unreal!

Celtics Destroy Heat By 29 Points in Game 2 (THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!)

"I'll show you how to do this, son!"

That's what the F*** I'm talking bout!!!  I've been waiting for a game like this all year long.  I didn't think the Celtics still had the killer instinct but they just proved last nigh that it was there all along just waiting to be released.  After playing a close one in Game 1 and losing Kevin Garnett to a suspension from the "elbow incident", the C's stepped the F*** up in Game 2 and destroyed the Heat by 29.

This game was never really close and for once, the Celtics didn't let up on the gas when they had a big lead.  Almost every other time the C's had been up by 15-20 points throughout the season, they would let the other team get back in the game.  Last night was a huge turning point and also a big confidence booster for the team and the fans.  My expecations for the playoffs were very low and I really thought the C's could possibly lose to the Heat in Round 1 if they continued to play shitty like they did for the final weeks of the season.  Now, I feel like they are rejuvenated and can beat anyone.  It sounds ridiculous after just one game but I really feel that is exactly what was needed to get these guys motivated again.  It's funny how quickly things can change.

Ray Allen broke out of his funk and went 7 for 9 from three point range, ending with 25 points.  He was absolutely on fire after starting off fairly slow and being way too passive.  Once he hit his first three, you could tell he was feeling it because he took an instant heat check the next time down the court.  Even though he missed, he continued to shoot which is exactly what the Celtics want from him, especially when KG is out.  He ended up shooting 9 for 13 from the field but it felt like he didn't miss a shot.  Let's hope he can keep that stroke going for the next few games and the rest of the playoffs.  He only needs one game to break out of a slump and that was definitely it.

Glen "Big Baby" aka "The Ticket Stub" Davis was HUGE with his excellent play on the boards and great defense but the most welcome surprise was his 23 points.  Unreal!  We all know that BBD was capable of a game like that but no one was really expecting it at the same time.  He also started off a little slow and was blocked about 4 or 5 times before he finally started hitting some shots and getting to the line.  By the end of the game, he looked unstoppable.  He always seems to step up in big games, especially in the playoffs, and this one was no exception.  I thought that we would never see the same fire from him as we did last year in the playoffs but luckily, I was wrong.

I had a feeling before the game that by KG being out, it would actually help the Celtics.  They wouldn't be able to rely on KG to make big plays which meant that they all had to step it up to that next level.  Luckily, that's exactly what they did.  That was just a great game all around and there was awesome energy from the team and the crowd.

My buddies and I were just talking about how this is the first time in a long time that we lost our voices from yelling at the game.  I also don't remember standing up so much to cheer a great play or big shot since the 2009 playoffs since there was nothing to cheer about all season long.  Let's hope this is the start to the resurgence that we've been waiting for all season long.  Maybe they were just saving their energy for the playoffs this whole time and really can just flip the switch?!?!  Let's hope so...

LeBron Posterizes James Johnson of the Bulls (GET OFF ME!)

I feel like the NBA Playoffs have been fairly low key so far except for the Garnett vs. Heat elbow incident and this dunk by LeBron posterizing the shit out of James Johnson from last night's game.  We will probably see LeBron do this about 35 more times before the series ends.  He is in the zone right now and no one on the Bulls except Noah can play a lick of defense.  He could also go for 50 in one of the next few games based on how he is shooting the rock. He is virtually unstoppable right now...

As usual, the Cavs bench flipped out and reacted as if they had never seen LeBron posterize someone even though he does it all the damn time.  They are always good for at least one overreaction per game.  Love it!

New Reebok Easy Tone Commercial (MS. NEW BOOTY)

They did it again!  Reebok has put together another bootylicious commercial to help promote their Reebok Easy Tone shoes that are supposed to help chicks shape their butts and legs by simply walking around.  I'm not sure who they are really targeting with this ad since the scenery seems to be for the fellas but maybe they are hoping some of the ladies will get jealous of these juicy booties and want to buy a pair so they can look like that too.

Unfortunately, the only people I've ever seen wearing the Easy Tone shoes in public are 300 lb. heifers that have never been to a gym in their life.  I think I've spotted them the most in the Mall Food Court as they stand in line for some McDonald's or KFC or do a lap to get a sample at each stop. They think by simply putting on the shoe that they are going to magically lose weight from those 25 steps a day that they take before they have to sit down and catch their breath.  You actually have to get off your ass for the shoe to do something, fatties. Do everyone a favor and try not eating a bucket of wings for a few weeks before you try this shoe out.

Guru of Gang Starr Dead at 43 (R.I.P.)

Photobucket
Damn.  Hip Hop lost another star yesterday when news broke that Keith Elam aka Guru had passed away.  Guru had been battling cancer for a few years now and suffered cardiac arrest on March 2nd and had been in a coma ever since.  It's sad to see one of the most influential rappers of all time pass at such an early age.

It's kind of messed up to hear this news today because I was literally just thinking about Guru and Gang Starr the other day.  I even posted a bunch of classic Gang Starr videos after I heard the instrumental to "Full Clip" being used as a soundtrack.

Although Guru might not have been the most lyrically gifted rapper and his self proclaimed "monotone style" might not have caught your attention right away, he still created some of the best Hip Hop that has ever been made.  Gang Starr (Guru and DJ Premier) became one of the most influential rap groups of all time and created some of the hardest sounds the game has ever heard.  Some of their oldest songs still hold up and most of their tracks from the late 90's and early 2000's would be instant classics if they dropped today.

Guru also helped create the sub-genre of Hip Hop/Jazz Fusion with his critically acclaimed Jazzmatazz series.  He got to work with some of the best Jazz artists around to create some of the most unique Hip Hop music you will ever hear while simultaneously introducing Jazz to people like myself who would not have otherwise listened to it or given it a shot.  He was still able to maintain street credibility and continued to release music as Gang Starr while working on the Jazzmatazz series on the side which was a pretty impressive feat in itself.

I can't see many rappers being able to pull off something similar these days since a lot of their fans would probably turn on them or say they got "soft".  Guru didn't care and just wanted to make good music, regardless of who wanted to listen to it.  You have to give him respect for taking the risk and still creating awesome music on both sides of the fence.

One thing I did not know about the duo (Premier and Guru) is that they had not even spoken in over 7 years.  I knew they had broken up as a group but had no idea that there was some serious issues between the two.  Here is what Guru said in a written letter he put together before he passed away:

“I do not wish my ex-DJ to have anything to do with my name likeness, events tributes etc. connected in anyway to my situation including any use of my name or circumstance for any reason and I have instructed my lawyers to enforce this. I had nothing to do with him in life for over 7 years and want nothing to do with him in death. Solar has my life story and is well informed on my family situation, as well as the real reason for separating from my ex-DJ."

Wow.  Something really messed up must have happened between these two for Guru to hold a grudge even as he lay on his death bed.  It's unfortunate that they were not able to patch things up before he passed but at least Premier was man enough to let it slide and post Guru's message in it's entirety on his site as well as wishing Guru's family the best in such tough times.

Guru's style and creativity will be sorely missed in the Hip Hop game and music industry as a whole.  Hopefully, he is in a better place now and can finally rest in peace.  Gifted.Unlimited.Rhymes.Universal.

Papoose - "My Click Strapped" (SICK)

I haven't heard anything from Papoose in a minutw but this remix of Ludacris' "My Chick Bad" will definitely have me checking for some of his new shit in the near future.  That shit was tight!  I kind of forgot about him since he's been under the radar the past few years but now I remember why he was one of the most anticipated up and coming rappers not too long ago.

Dude has some ridiculous lines and metaphors and he tears a beat to shreds.  Hopefully he will finally put together a full album instead of just another mixtape.  I'd like to see a whole album's worth of original material instead of just rhyming over everyone else's beats.

I'm still confused how he hasn't dropped a legit album yet.  He would have sold a hell of  a lot more records a few years ago when his buzz was at it's peak.  I still think he could push some decent units if he put out an album now but he (or maybe his record label) f'd by not dropping something sooner.

Air Jordan XI – “Silver Anniversary” (DROPS MAY 1st)

Photobucket
The official release date for the Air Jordan XI “Silver Anniversary” has been set for May 1st.  When I first heard about it, I definitely thought it would be a must cop but I think I might end up holding off on buying these now because all of the other great Jordan's being released later this year.  I need to save my money for the best kicks or else I am going to go broke. Even though I love the Air Jordan XI, I'm just not that excited about this one.

The colorway is too plain and although I like all white sneakers, it just doesn't make sense on this particular shoe.  It turns one of the greatest shoe designs ever into something simple and boring.  You could freshen these up with some different color laces but that wouldn't really save it.  On top of all that, they removed the Jumpman logo on the side.  Why?!?!  I definitely expected more for the 25th Anniversary edition.

Any of you out there considering purchasing the Air Jordan XI "Silver Anniversary"?

I saw this dunk on PTI the other day and have been trying to find a better quality version but I guess this will do.  I thought this was nasty and then quickly got pissed because I realized I never get to see cool performances like this because of the stupid "Lucky the Leprechaun" mascot we have at Celtics games.

As I've mentioned before, I am not a big fan of "Lucky" because the dude is just annoying and completely unnecessary since Celtics fans get pumped up enough on their own. On top of that, he does some pretty lame dunks off the trampoline except for an occasional flip or something.  Even this is kind of boring to me.  Show me something interesting, dude.

If you are dunking off a trampoline, wouldn't you try some shit that no one else can do?  Going between the legs three times is exactly what I'm talking about.  Give me some creativity!  Why wouldn't you go for two flips?  I'm sure it can be done.  Although, this guy didn't exactly prove that on this attempt:

The dunk crew Acrodunk has been pulling off dunks like this since 2007.  These dudes are nasty!   I would love to see something like this at a game instead of that stale routine from Lucky.  This is how you do it:

Old Spice Odor Blocker Commercial - "Flex" (HYSTERICAL)

I don't know why but this new Old Spice commercial has been killing me lately.  I've been laughing my ass off every time I see it.  I think it's the outstanding performance of Terry Crews that gets me. The dude has so much energy, it's ridiculous. "Pa-pa -pa-pa-pa-pa POWER!!!"

I've been a big fan of his work ever since he killed it in White Chicks.  Dude is hysterical!

Here are a few of the other solid Old Spice Odor Block Body Wash commercials featuring Terry Crews.  They're all pretty damn funny.  Once again, Old Spice has another winner.  They are in the zone lately

James White's Between the Legs Free Throw Line Dunk (UNREAL)

WTF?!?!?  How is this even humanly possible?  I knew James White was a nasty dunker but this is on some other shit.  I love how took off from the free throw line for every dunk.  The first one was just a simple warm up even though he cocked it back further than anyone has ever done from that distance.  Then he goes two hands from the free throw line with ease.  What about a little free throw line windmill.  Done.  You think that's nasty?  How about between the legs from the free throw line!  Seriously?!?!  Holy shit!!!  That was possibly the best dunk I've ever seen!

FYI - This clip is from a 2008 All-Star game in Turkey, I believe. It's a few years old but I am just seeing it for the first time.  I thought it was worthy of a post because I can't stop watching it.  You can't even do that in a video game.  So insane!

Here is James White in the 2006 NCAA Dunk Contest.  There were some great dunks in this one from all of the contestants but the only reason White didn't win is because he missed his final dunk.

"Stepping Up" - 2010 NBA Playoffs Auto-Tuned Commercial (FEATURING PIERCE)

I'm glad the NBA continues to keep pumping out these auto-tuned commercials because they are freakin' awesome.  I never get sick of them for some reason.  This new promo "Stepping Up" might not be as intense as "Focus" but it still gets the job done.  I love that my main man Paul Pierce got some shine with his line "And We Never Give Up.  It's All About Never Giving In."

Let's hope the C's see this commercial before the playoffs start and use it as motivation.  They need all they can get at this point.

Invincible Homeless Man Gets Drilled by a Car Then Gets Right Up (OUCH!)

WOW!  This dude must be puffin' on some heavy duty crack because he acted like he didn't even feel that car hit him at about 30 MPH even though it knocked him off his feet and flipped his ass over.  WTF?!?!  Dude got absolutely hammered and he just gets right up like it ain't no thang! That's some powerful shit!

If he was smart, he would have reacted like Crackhead Ezel in Friday.  "Owwww!  My neck!  My back!  My neck and my back!  I want a hundred and fifty thousand...but we can settle right now out of court for 20 bucks."

Snoop Dogg Ft. Kid Cudi - "That Tree" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

That's what I'm talking about!  It's about damn time a rapper put out a chill video where they didn't take themselves so seriously for once.  Everyone is always acting so hard and just wasting their damn energy.  Chill out and have some fun!  Snoop's video for "That Tree" ft. Kid Cudi has that vibe and it kind of reminds me of the DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince "Parents Just Don't Understand" video.  How can either of these videos not put you in a good mood instantly?

This defintiely a different vibe for Snoop since it sounds more like a Cudi like track but it definitely works.  Snoop crushes both verses and Cudi brings the heat on his verse and hook.  This is just a dope track all around.  This has definitely been on my personal playlist for awhile and continues to get heavy rotation. Dope shit!

Nasty Reverse Windmill Dunk by Derrick Rose (CELTICS LOSE AGAIN)

I knew Derrick Rose was a freak of an athlete but this is just ridiculous!  I had no idea he could get up like that!  There aren't many players in the league that could pull off a reverse windmill dunk during a game on a fast break.  Unreal!

Unfortunately for Celtics fans, there were plenty of other Bulls highlights because the C's played like garbage again.  They ended up losing to the Bulls by 8 points to let them keep their playoff hopes alive.  That is now the Celtics' 6th loss in 9 games.  Painful.

Any time you let Derrick Rose score 39 points (career high) and Kirk Hinrich drop 30 points, you're chances of winning are pretty slim.  The Celtics defense and rebounding is a complete joke.  They look slow and old and any athletic team can basically have their way with them.  I have zero confidence in the team right now.

I am not looking forward to the playoffs because I seriously feel like they could lose in the first round.  The C's are limping to the finish line and it looks like almost any team in the league can beat them at this point.  Not cool.

This play where Rasheed Wallace scored for the Bulls by tipping in a rebound on his own basket pretty much summarizes his season with the Celtics, as well as how the team is playing as a whole.  Just awful.

Hornets Marcus Thornton Destroys Gerald Wallace on a Baseline Dunk (NASTY)

I have no idea who Marcus Thornton is but it looks like the kid has some hops. He absolutely destroyed the Bobcats' Gerald Wallace on this baseline dunk.  It doesn't appear to be anything that great on first view but once you see the replay over and over again, you realize how much Wallace got owned.  Not only did he catch a facial but he also fell to the ground like a pile of bricks after the dunk.  Damn!

Red Cafe - "I'm ILL" ft. Fabolous (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

It's about damn time Red Cafe dropped a video for "I'm Ill"!  I just assumed the video was already out since I've been bumpin' this track hard for almost 2 months now.  The beat is what really does it for me with the sample of Jay-Z saying "I'm Ill! I'm Ill! Muthaf**** I'm Ill! RAH! RAH!"  That ish goes hard!  If you don't get fired up after hearing this joint, you've got problems.

There's also a dope remix of "I'm Ill" floating around featuring Lloyd Banks, Ryan Leslie & Claudette Ortiz giving it a little more of an R&B feel.  I like the original better but this one is almost as good:

Random Ish - Dog Poops On Field During AA Baseball Game, Sideline Reporter Fail and More...

I've been sitting on a bunch of these videos for about a week now and never got a chance to post them up individually, so I thought I'd hit you off with another edition of Random Ish.  Enjoy.

The "Iams Adoptable Pet of the Game" gets loose and drops a deuce during a AA Minor League Baseball game.

This sideline reporter is providing no value whatsoever.

Congressman Hank Johnson seriously contemplates the possibility of Guam tipping over if too many people are put on the island.  You've got to be kidding me.

Medea Vodka - Programmable LED Screen on Bottle (RIDICULOUS)

How to Program a Message on Your MEDEA Bottle

I can't decide whether or not this new LED bottle from Medea Vodka is a good idea but either way, the video is worth watching just to hear this foreign dude butcher the English language like a bad SNL character.  He's trying so hard to be serious but I can't stop laughing at how ridiculous he sounds when saying the simplest things:

"Velcome to va Vorld of Ticking"
"Press the enter boootun on the buttum left"

I could see this being kind of cool if you were at a party and wanted to send a shout out or talk smack to the person that's hoarding all your vodka but it could also get really annoying if it got in the hands of all the wannabe gangsters and meatheads getting bottle service in the clubs.  I can only imagine some of the stupid shit they would type in.  Maybe this will stay out of their hands after all though since they would actually need to know how to spell and form a complete sentence to make it useful...

Carmelo Anthony Collapses On Court But Play Still Continues (WTF?!?!)

This might be one of the weirdest things I've ever seen happen during a basketball game.  People get hurt and fall down all the time but usually play stops immediately after. Not this time.

Carmelo Anthony bumped into Kevin Durant on a drive to the hoop and gave himself a "stinger" which caused him to collapse to the ground and possibly pass out for a few seconds.  The refs blew the whistle and called a travel on him so there was a stoppage in play where they could have waited for him to get up but instead, they just gave the ball to the OKC Thunder to continue play. WTF?!?!  Why would they do that?  I've never seen something like that before in my life.

Then to make it weirder, the Nuggets stole the ball back immediately and J.R. Smith drove to the hoop while trying to avoid Carmelo who was still lying on the ground.  Wouldn't you at least call a timeout if you knew your teammate was still on the ground?  That was just a messed up sequence of events all around.  You'll probably never see something like that again...

Drake - "Over" (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

I have to admit it.  Drake's "Over" has officially grown on me.  I wasn't a huge fan when it was first released but it has gotten better with each listen which is kind of what I thought would happen.  The slower beat didn't catch my attention as much as some of his other high energy songs but it's still a decent all around track.

The video is nothing special but it's got some cool effects and imagery.  It basically shows how his life has transitioned from being a regular dude to a rap superstar and having to make choices between the wholesome girl from back home or the sexy chicks that are now at his disposal.

I still think he should have brought the heat with something more uptempo for his first single on the Thank Me Later album but I'm sure we'll get some of that later on...
